That I know, but I'm kind of impatient and love to do some scalping when I am around  Wink

If you're looking to make a quick buck, buy in USD on gox and sell for EUR or GBP on Intersango or Tradehill.  Both look pretty good right now.

Who would want euros right now?
Not me!

i pay everything with euros and it is working quite well Smiley

But what if where you live nobody will sell you anything for them?  Doesn't seem like a good time to invest in the Euro.

All things considered, it is extremely handy to have the euro, and just go abroad and pay normally, as opposed to having a clusterfuck of different currencies which all seem to be called the same (German Mark, Swedish Mark… Wouldn't surprise me if there was a French Mark and a Dutch Mark as well). Sharing legislation and creating an environment for European companies to interact without a lot of friction is also not a vacuous goal.

It all isn't such a bad idea, if you look at it properly.

Except then Greece crashed.

Indeed it is!  I did not expected to buy any more silver, but if it gets down into the low $20's it is very possible that I will.  I'm in for one more purchase of BTC if we get another significant but I think that is about it (I think), and I already have the funds in place.  So I'll need some other outlet for excess USD and silver has been mighty good to me over the years.

We will soon se how serious the person is who has the bid wall at 2.1 $. Selling into this wall is just starting. If this wall falls, we may enter another huge decline.

I got all my appendages crossed!
Also if the wall is real that means just 20K more coins need to be sold to get over it

Tuned into MtGoxLive like 10 seconds before this most recent selloff.  Interesting that somebody decided to take advantage of everything that had built up ahead of the wall.

Bitcoin Fact: the price of bitcoin will not be greater than $70k for more than 25 consecutive days at any point in the rest of recorded human history.

Likely somebodies.  I know I sure as hell tried.  I just don't have the volume for any substantial manipulation though... yet.

A lot of the wall at $2.1 got sold into. About 10k of the initial 20k where left, when it disappeared.

The last of it was finished off by a single 10k BTC sell.  I saw it scroll by on MtGox Live when it happened.

ANNOUCEMENT:

We started a forum on http://www.bitcoinbullbear.com/forum.html#/news/.

After running for over 14 months the bitcoin technical analysis thread in this forum (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1493.1600), now you have the opportunity to discuss bitcoin technical analysis related matters on our website.

This will fulfill two benefits: (1) members here can really fully focus on trading related subjects and (2) avoid being in a "child" subforum and avoid the numerous off topic posts.

It is for this reason that we will preserve the right to delete posts that do not fulfill the objective of this thread rigorously.

Looking forward to a great discussing about the future of bitcoin prices, bitcoin forecasts, chart analysis, technical indicators, and more.

since the manipulator once again struggled hard to manipulate the price above $2 i suggest it is just a matter of time until the price goes deeper than $1.

the manipulator can't just make the price not going deeper. in order to reach its real worth, bitcoin has to touch its ground at least once.

i really really really doubt that the manipulators bidwalls at 2$ are anything close to a real bottom. therefore market will beat manipulator. the sooner, the better, than finally bitcoin can be "used" (cause it is no more a manipulator-zombie).
