No, we have broken out above. Further upmove is required to make this a lasting breakout.

I am happy to have a rally but to me it still looks like we're on a downtrend right back into that channel.

I see that return to 13.40-13.50 as an attempt to return to the channel. Apparently it failed to do so, and the trend line will be getting farther as the day progresses, reaching 13.25 at the end of the day.

Any more thoughts, S3052? It certainly hasn't been fun the last day or so.

:-) I am not sure if my mission is to spark fun only... It should definitely help making a bit better trading and investment decisions.

I have just completed my in-depth weekly bitcoin market and technical analysis which is exclusive to subscribers, and I keep committed to this exclusivity.

As always, I will publish some updates here and there on twitter, but with less depth and with a delay.

Thanks for your understanding.

Understood, I will watch for your delayed publications and see how they match up to the market's activity. Smiley

Sorry, I'm not going to participate in your polls anymore.  You have stopped providing updates to the public, so I see no reason to provide you with my sentiment.  It probably won't be missed, but I'm disappointed by your greed.

I can understand your frustration. Let me explain three things.

First, the in-depth technical analysis I am doing takes me about 5 hours each to do it properly and to provide me enough confidence to publish it. I want to provide great service, not a half cooked one. I am not sure if it this can be called greedy, but everyone can have its own view here on the forum.

Second, the subscription service I am providing is voluntary and there are a lot of people very satisfied with it.

Third, I am doing this also to demonstrate that services offered for bitcoin only work, and supporting the bitcoin economy.

Now, about the poll, I get your point. I need your votes to be able to publish a meaningful correlation. I still need more weeks to get to a proper picture. I am sure it will be very valid and I promise to publish this one here in this forum first (I have not published this so far).

it is called greed! you are harvesting our opinions about the market, and then selling it.
you should pay me for voting up or down! we are NOT your lab rats.

alot of people are angry, but I still try to advertise my subscription service. not a good idea, only pissing more people off (like me)

sorry for being rude. the thing thats really got me angry was your advertisement, while people are mad at you.

Let's let this go... We don't need to get nasty.  S3052 has offered to share the results of his analysis.  I will vote, but if you don't deliver I probably won't again.  Not much loss to you in the big scheme, and no loss for me since I didn't get anything out of sharing my analysis of all the time I've spent studying bitcoin.  That time and effort gives my sentiment value.

for me your analysis is too expensive! i trade only to learn bases of trading and analysis, indicators, etc... but i do not invest thousands of dollars, so if i have to pay 5 BTC per month, i doesn't take long until youve got all my money... (greed or specified selecion?)
i would use it for 0.5 BTC - 1 BTC per month... (eventlually many more people will use, and you've got higher profit)

I agree I thought that was way high.  I was gonna subscribe just for the hell of it, but I'll be broke.

Too bad there isn't an exchange where people like S3052 could compete for followers.  People could choose who to follow, and part of their commission would be split evenly among those they follow.  It could integrate charting, publishing analyses, and of course trading.  Too bad I don't have the time or capital to build it.

I don't understand this thread. To me, a technical analysis of bitcoin is less complex than a technical analysis of Toys-R-Us (NYSE TOY). What data is there to analyze with bitcoin? Where is the Prospective, or even a business plan for Bitcoin?

Any significantly advanced cryptocurrency is indistinguishable from Ponzi Tulips.
