HI, I've been mining Monero with SMOS for about 2 days, using  miner xmr-stack-amd and Nanopool: My H/s has been all over the place keeping waving between 1000-4000 H/s while I would expect to stay around 3000-3500 H/s. Is this normal?

So I'd like try claymore-xmr-v9.1 instead, but with nanopool. This is the default config string:

 -o stratum+tcp://xmr.hashinvest.net:1111 -u 449TGay4WWJPwsXrWZfkMoPtDbJp8xoSzFuyjRt3iaM4bRHdzw4qoDu26FdcGx67BMDS1r2bnp7f5hF 6xdPWWrD3Q3Wf7G6 -p x -dbg -1

Question,  how can I insert Nanopool? I tried 3 times but didn't work...

My conf is:

-s xmr-eu1.nanopool.org:14444 -w 463tWEBn5XZJSxLU6uLQnQ2iY9xuNcDbjLSjkn1XAXHCbLrTTErJrBWYgdJQyrdwkNgYvyV3z8zctJL PCZy24jvb3NiTcTJ.7e5895590dbf48ab90e59b491ee68f891007668e7s91428586defd1ede92b1 f9.$rigName -p z -i 1024 -h 8889

and works fine, 2xGPU [PowerColor RX 480 8GB + Gigabyte G1 RX480 8GB] (1400H/s)+ 8xCPU (320H/s)

- you can test it for free and then you need to pay only 2$ per rig per month

You say we can test for free but then $2 a month.  Before paying the $2 is it actually mining or just going through the motions?

When you put your wallet on the command line of whatever miner you choose to use it will be seen in that pool after a bit (it was minutes for me at flypool with the EWBF miner). So, yep it's working.

I'm interested too. Some of my cards run a little hotter than others, other than being in a different spot on the rig they are all the same.

Hi thought you meant applying your normal string to claymore-xmr-v9.1 and I tried but it didn't work.
So you mean that your xmr-stack-amd is working well...? I mean mine is working too, but the nanopool chart is showing a lot of highs and lows...

anyone know where we can suggest an enhancement to SMOS?
Would like to see an option under Overclocking to set  1 GPU Fan speed to 100%.
I.E.
Enter GPU# __  to set Fan to 100%   [OK]

Reason being if we have a GPU with issues [i.e. bad riser ], low hash rate , we can set the fan speed to 100% and see which GPU it is.

Would save time from pulling each riser.  Just a thought

Month ago I bought my first rig. 10 card rig.
5 Sapphire rx 570s
5 Aorus rx 570s
smOS

knew what I was doing.. HELL No!

Since then Ive bought a second rig 6 card windows rig and built a 5 card windows rig.
When I purchased 570s fellow said the updates were automatic.
When Septembers updates came I saw no change.
Contacted him yesterday he told me that I had to push updates myself.

I downloaded the rx fix, flashed it... inserted to mobo...

But now I have a 3 fans that are high% at all times. The temperature on those fans can be lower then the other fans that run at 27-40% and these particular fans will still be high%...

75 76 75 74 77 79 71 72 66 ℃
24 28 28 28 28 37 81 81 24 %

Just copy and pasted as writing this message.. its 2 fans. They are the Gigabyte Aorus fans
If I add the last card it will be 3 fans. also an Aorus.

Another update

75 75 77 77 79 75 71 71 65 ℃
24 28 34 31 45 45 84 84 24 %

Anyone know the fix to this?

Help is appreciated!
Thanks Josh

75 75 73 73 75 76 72 73 66 ℃
24 28 37 37 37 100 96 96 24 %

I am using Claymore 10
Nicehash needs -esm 3 to work
If you dont want to pay dev fee, you can always turn on "-nofee 1"

Is there a way to undervolt, not from the bios, but from the OS directly? Especially interested for Nvidia. Only this is stopping me from using it on a number of rigs.
If not, do you plan to add the option?  Smiley
