In whatever or wherever you put your money on to invest, there will always be a  high level of risk, especially if you do not know fully what you are investing on and you, as an investor, just depends of heresy. When it comes to investing in bitcoin, you can expect a high amount of risk but you can also expect a high amount of return, and that's what's great about it especially that most people know little of it still.

There is always a saying that says, the higher the risk, the higher the return then if you want a high return for your investment then it is better to invest in bitcoin and to be honest, the high risk in bitcoin is only applicable for the short term traders or investors so if you want to minimized the risk of investing in bitcoin then just hold it for long term.

It is always risky. But investments always are. However, the sentiment with Bitcoin is clearly that it will go up with everybody, and that is somewhat a guarantee that it will keep on going up... at least until a certain point.

Yes, that's right, it depends on the projects we choose to invest in, but any investment project is risky, just a little bit or more. If we invest in HYIP, I think there will be very few opportunities for profit, to be even more lost, in my opinion I think the HYIP form is no different than scam. Investing in ICO projects is also a good form, now there are many people who prefer this form. Now going back to the OP; I don't suggest that you buy 4 bitcoins at a time (however, your post was made in April so I guess you already did), instead you should cost average buying bitcoins. The risk will come from yourself when you sell in panic. Also, having 4BTCs need at least a hard wallet for storage - you should never put such amount in an online wallet.

In every investment there are risks, so do not put all your hard earned money in one platform. Diversify. CAVEAT.

There's no risk on investing your money into bitcoin but the big problem is how much percentage of profit you will earn on investing. We all know that bitcoin was unstable in its price with a big demand and constant supply. Bitcoin price decrease but it will recover in just a moment. Let us see and watch the price of bitcoin before investing.

Remember that on every investments, you can never guarantee that you will not lose. Investing in bitcoin is a game of chance, you might end up losing or winning. You can't say that there are no risk involved.

Going back to the OP as i said there is a risk, especially for 3-4 BTC which is a big amount.  But certain things might help you dealing with it. One is you must have this attitude, that before investing you must accept the risk and be comfortable with it. Because if you feel discomfited about the game of risk, you might end up taking part with the other investors doing BIG mistakes because of fear. Ending up in a chunk of losses. Be ready of those chances. Buy or invest now if you think you are ready.
