Thats kind of worrisome. A lot of people pulling coins out of exchanges?

Not a very common occurrence. Nothing to worry about.

The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

Fees are included in the total that is distributed to miners (minus pool fee) IF you are mining with stratum - so you do not need to solve a block to get'em.. (and if you still using getwork - time to change!)

You would know easily just from your profile page in the pool.  There is a column in your worker list that is titled: Stratum.  If you see a green yes - you are all set so you are getting your share of the transaction fees!

easy 2-part question to answer probably:

1) its been about an hour running and the reported hashrate on the site is only about 60% of my actual (15 minutes ago it was around 40%). I know it can show the average across the last 10 blocks (obviously a long delay to reporting), but what about the "MHash/s*" found beside my slave details?

2) Im running a 6950 at intensity 12 with zero rejects or hardware errors reported by cgminer. Would i anticipate a better hashrate by raising or lowering from here? The machine is used for coins so the GPU doesn't handle much besides hashing

24" PCI-E cables with 16AWG wires and stripped ends - great for server PSU mods, best prices https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=563461

Getwork server died without any previous symptoms. I restarted it and it is running again.

Btw I recommend to getwork miners to update to Stratum. Not that the Stratum pool is much more stable than Getwork backend, but considering the Stratum hashrate is on 95%, the Getwork backend will be closed down pretty soon (when Stratum will be on 99%).

Still randomly getting some of my machines blocked by the pool.

Is there a fix or a work around??? Maybe a different pool to point at?

about NMC merge mining,  does the whole BTC hashrate is used for merge mining or some of it?
in the first case i would expect 10 times more NMC coins than BTC but this is not my case Smiley

First off, for people who are fairly new to btc mining (say in the last 6 months), please do me a favor.  Search the thread for your question before posting it.  You don't have to read the whole thread, just use that little search box at the top of the page. 95% of the questions being asked have already been answered several times in the last 20 pages.

And second, just an observation, or maybe I'm just being hopeful.  It seems like the huge increase in mining coincides to the huge price increase lately.  I'm guessing that all the miners that got out because of profitability decided to get back in.  And at the same time they told their friends who thought they could make a quick buck, so there was a rush on the pools.  I'm hoping now that the price is back to a reasonable level that the traffic on the pools cools off a little bit as well.  I hate to say it, but I think the price we're at now is a lot more healthy in general.   As soon as it topped $100 I new there was a going to be another correction coming...

Slush's pool has every US-based Private Internet Access server blacklisted, whether accidentally or intentionally.  This completely screws over anyone who uses this VPN from the US.
