Nope, this thread is for people to constantly ask the same questions that were asked about 4 or 5 posts ago... There is a pre-requisite not to read previous messages - you just need to post your question regardless of the fact that some person posted the same question 10 mins ago. Has there been a problem with Slushes pool recently btw?
Forums 101. Can't change forum behavior its like this everywhere.

Wait, is there a problem with the pool?
Is the website down?
Omg can I still mine?
Wait, it looks like I'm still mining, is my work being counted?
Are we being DDoSed?
Will I get paid for the work I'm doing now?
How will I get paid for the work I'm doing now? PPS please?
Are my coins safe?
When can I withdraw my coins? How about now?
What's wrong with the stats?
How come this block isn't the same as the one before the attack?
Can I withdraw my coins now? Please?
OMG Now MTGOX IS DOWN TOO!!!
Ahhhh, the internet.....

just finished going over the ' earnings during the outage and found that I AM OVER EARNING! Yes, i'm letting the pool operator know that the payout for the shares I got ( all of which are acurate for time of day ) were on the GET WORK ( no, stratum didn't get me a single hit in 4 days so i split the CPU mining to getwork and stratum ) Specificaly # 17670 aka block 232921 4 shares... with that many shares on that block ( 25427668) i usually get the 0E-8 IF i get any. To add to the confusion, #17655 ( block 232782 ) lasted 0:32:16 for a total shares of 4202819 making my ( 1 ) share worth 0.00000000 ( or for the math people 0E-8 ) and under valued some how. Not to be confused with the ( slightly over paid ) # 17664 ( block 232879) lasting 0:27:03 with 2742161 shares me getting (1) for a value of 0.00000013. CPU mining is all i can currently afford and I know it and I am not going to cheat the system. This second example is EXACTLY the kind of payout I usually get ( getwork or Stratum IF I get a share ) on nice fast blocks. Any block with over 10Mill shares I usually get NADA for any share I do find. I will appreciate it if you feel generous enough to not change it, at least I looked over it and said something

Consider for a moment that ASIC miners don't have a choice. We generate coins faster than they are confirmed. I didn't want to have almost 10 coins there. I had the default setting set at 1.0 Unfortunately, the pool fell under the attack. There is no "right" way of doing it if the confirms take about 5 hours per BTC to clear. Right now my counter is at 6.65847142 BTC instead of somewhere around 9~10. something. I haven't had anything deposited since the "2013-04-23 16:31:27" according to my offline wallet transactions deposit list. Now that I am checking things carefully I just noticed that one of the deposits went missing into thin air. The pool records says it deposited another coin at "2013-04-23 20:31:27" yet that is not showing up in my wallet and has gone missing. So it seems there is a missing coin in there somewhere. I believe that is roughly when the pool got attacked and went down. If that is the case I am up to about 11 coins and some fractions. Again, it's not like some of us have a choice in the matter. The confirms take quite some time. (Alright, I am going to go ahead and crunch the numbers on my account and see how much has gone unaccounted in the meantime.)

Just my chip in on the earnings during the database downtime. I actually thought i wouldn't get anything. Was mining on an ec2 voucher (*i've another ($100) which i'd take offers on (one per account)(apologies for the shameless plug)*) and it ran out mid-down time. Of course when slush said he'd pay out based on performance as soon as things are up... and i knew i wouldnt be mining... So I was extremely happy to log in and see I had been credited. I want to thank slush for his dedication and getting things back up so fast! On a side note theres a newbie who's about 10% under though from my maths. Might be worth looking into https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=187689.0

I was just reacting to those who keep there coins there intentionally and then whining when they cant get them any time they feel like, or to the types who suddenly got impression that they can give some advice to George Soros and the rest on how to make money on exchange.

OK, I went thru all reportings of wrong block rewards. I fixed some rounds, but currently it looks to me that they're fine and reported differences are in the range of common variance (+ some downtime during the pool recovery). So I'm going to process pending block rewards and payouts in few minutes.
Automatic payouts will be still disabled until tomorrow and I'll do manual payouts irregularly by myself, because I want to keep eyes to payout mechanism for some time. But if everything will work well, I'll enable periodic payouts every 15 minutes tomorrow.

Might be worth looking into https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=187689.0Hmmm Now that you point it out I have some blocks that seem to be not calculating correctly either: # Block found at Duration Total shares Your shares Your BTC reward Block # Block value Validity 17680 2013-04-25 11:28:30 0:57:54 5689208 559 0.00180916 233057 25.21487399 11 confirmations left 17677 2013-04-25 04:53:30 2:15:34 12167460 1249 0.00205932 233015 25.30640678 confirmed 17661 2013-04-24 05:07:55 0:35:37 3581506 325 0.00123194 232863 25.20775000 confirmed my calculation is that the first one should be more like .00242796 and the second more like .00254576 Those were just the ones I looked at because they are lower then the rest. Maybe I am calculating wrong? EDIT: added a third which I calculate should be more like .00224170
