Just stopping by to say thanks for all your hard work over the last few days Slush, you did a tremendous job *Applause*

Once you've had some rest, it might be an idea to tell people of the changes you've made around security (e.g. I notice there is a now a short session timeout). This will serve to re-assure people (if they need more), and help discourage would-be hackers by showing them that you mean business and the pool isn't an easy target.

If you need any help with this or if you have any questions, fire me a pm. I'm an experienced software dev (I can send on my linkedin profile if you want).

Once again, thanks!

Sy.

also yay! my first post out of n00b hell Cheesy

Aqualung my friend, don't you start away uneasy (sorry had to quote that song). Some spam filters are very paranoid, especially when a well known SMTP server has moved to a new IP. Hotmail is the worst example. I use a GMail address only for Slush, and I got the e-mail instantly.

I use Gmail too. I checked "spam" - no letter from pool. I've pressed the button twice, but nothig happened, just reload the page.

The server is probably under load from everyone trying to reset and get access, give it some time. Email may be almost instant, but only when the server has a chance to send it lol

I managed to reset mine yesterday without issue. (using hotmail... oh no!)

Great work on this Slush!

I just requested a password change, and instantly received the email (in the spam folder).

I noticed that my reward dropped with about 0.02. At first I thought that I lost my BTC, since I didn't received an email about a payout.
Then I looked at my wallet, and found "26-4-2013 04:05: +0.02370365 BTC". Great work!

Thank you for working non-stop on this for the last couple of days, making this the best pool there is.
Now, is there an address we can use to donate to you, Slush?

Cheers!

"News

    26.04.2013
Because the user database has been compromised in recent hack, please change password to your pool account!"

https://mining.bitcoin.cz/

Nobody seems to have mentioned this - sorry if someone did and I missed it. Lots of distractions of late.    Smiley

As I understand it, this works through email. (You get link to reset your password.) This is in current situation better idea than classic "Enter old pass, Enter new pass, Retype new pass". This way even if someone knows your compromised pass, he cannot change it. :-]

And, Slush... have a good, refreshing and well-deserved sleep! Your handling of the situation is exemplary. :-]

Hi,Slush, the pool why not auto send payment to my btc address ?

I believe Slush said payments where being manually processed by him for now. The man has had no sleep for the better part of 3 days, he'll get to you as soon as he can I'm sure.
