In addition to the two blocks not calculating for over an hour, the confirmed reward has not been increasing for the last two blocks that got confirmation. Figured I'd drop that in there as they are probably related and the information might narrow the list of potential problems.

It stucked on cross checks of block validity against blockexplorer/blockchain for some reason. Maintenance script then turn into manual mode and waited to my presence.

Pending rewards and payouts are now fixed and I'm watching closer to the fact why blockchain API request didn't timed out...

There were no issues for this block on the pool. Is reward calculated for you now? There's page cache on stats page...

What is the URL of your Stratum server?

I mean this here: "cgminer -o stratum+tcp://slush-server:slush-port -u myWorker_01 -p secret -w 256 -v 2 -I 9"

api-stratum.bitcoin.cz:3333

but you can use standard host:port (api.bitcoin.cz:8332), cgminer will switch automatically.

More people reported issues with 2.8.2, hopefully ckolivas will find the problem soon. It still looks like the most stable solution is cgminer <2.8.0 + mining proxy. But we're getting closer to stable Stratum support in cgminer by every bugfix release!

+1 on that, new cgminer runs for me but never finds any shares. When I quit cgminer, graphics driver crashes and also firefox for some queer reason..

don't use the new cgminer, is the proper message!

I'm guessing it's only windows users having a problem with 2.8.2. Now ytf I wonder...
Fixed windows bugs with stratum on cgminer 2.8.3.

Hrm. GUIMiner keeps hanging on me. I don't think it's the GPU cuz i've pulled the overclock back to keep it reasonably chill. Occasionally when it hangs, it'll show a "Connection Problems" message under Speed.

Maybe I should switch to Stratum + cgminer?

thanks for the quick reply, slush! The fact that you're fast to respond to your miners speaks well of your committment and rep. When* I get my 2 Jalapenos, they'll be jammin' on slushpool, ya know.

Mining proxy 1.1.1 has been released (including EXE for Windows users). Update is higly recommended for Windows users, there's really lot of changes since last Windows release (0.9.0).

Ok, downloaded, running. whuz da changes at?

Changelog is here: https://github.com/slush0/stratum-mining-proxy/commits/master

The biggest difference between 0.9.0 (used by majority of people now) and latest 1.1.1 is proxying of Stratum protocol itself, instead of proxying only getwork->stratum. Thanks to this, you can connect your exahash/s mining operation to the pool with single connection, transfering up to 20kB per minute.

Latest version also fixes many smaller bugs in connection management; the most important is bugfix in client.reconnect() which allow miner to reconnect to another pool backend if pool need to do some maintenance on current one.
