OK but I would not say give me more... But I would say that for anything more then 100%

I'll say what I see fit .... and with 80% luck, its nowhere near a bad day for me, so give me more. As for you, wait for your threshhold and say what you will, if you desire.

The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

Not sure if you know this since you are talking about number of blocks so much but you are not paid same per blocks on every pool. It is your hashrate/pool hashrate. So on a small pool you are paid more per blocks then on a big one(simplified since there a different methods but generally the case). Well that is not the case with PPS pools were you are paid per share and not per block. But if you like PPS so much don't use F2Pool. Switch payment method on a Antpool. You will get 1,5% more...

You will not get 1.5% more at Antpool. We pay 7 NMC + 5 HUC in addition to each bitcoin mined, while Antpool pays none.
OK my mistake. So 7NMC add about 1% and HUC is worth next to noting... So still 0,5% more on Antpool...

BTW why haven't I got any? I didn't even know you have them.

EDIT: OK I might oversimplified that question. My brother who couldn't care less what his miners is doing as long as it generate heat for him(will not go into details why he need it) was on your pool for about 8 mounts. And when I set things up there was no way to setup that. He did move now since he is now as I'm BIP101 supporter and you are forcing BIP100 on everyone. But is there a way to get that NMC? Your pool page is not working a lot of time so I cant even log and look...

1 NMC = 0.00177 @ BTC-e. 7 NMC = 1.24%, not "about 1%". A few days back 1 NMC was above 0.002. Your brother's namecoins has been distributed to miners who do not leave their NMC payout address empty. That is why we can pay almost 2x NMC than other pools. I personally welcome your brother comes back after XT and BIP101's failure.

If you mean BIP101, see: https://mining.bitcoin.cz/help/#!/get-started/getting_started
( tl;dr: if you didn't change anything, you're still adding hash rate for regular (non-BIP101) blocks )

Was that a server outage? Seems like all my rigs were knocked off port 3301 and could not fail over to the standard port 3333.
And the pool hashrate also dropped to < 20PH from > 30PH. Does not make sense with the fabulous luck we've had last few days ....

Is it possible everyone is bailing now because the no-fee August is over? I cannot stay connected for any period of time, keeps saying that I am losing shares because there is no response from stratum pool?

Same is happening to me. I'm in the US on the West coast.

Started getting warning emails at 4:25 PM PDT. Came back on at 4:41, then off again at 4:55.

Must be a problem with slush's servers.

Or an denial of service attack. I have no evidence of that. Just a guess.

Something happened here.  Miners went to back up pool.  Scoring rate isn't back to where it was prior to all of them being kicked off.  Keeping an eye on it.

Either slush fidgeting with the pool, AWS is having issues or pool is under attack.
Connections are very intermitent on port 3301 resulting in lots of stales when connection resumes .... I had port 3333 of the main stratum url as first backup but that on most of my rigs is now being reported as Dead ..... ! Nothing on FB yet either from slush ...

Antminer S7's gonna change the world. Ordering 10.

It will change a lot in making profits again. But I dont think, its going to have a huge impact regarding to the raising difficulty. Lets say they can sell 10'000 units ($23m ) by the end of year 2015 then the global hashrate will be +11% in December -> I think everybody would have expected that even without the S7.

We will see.

PS: Hashes were nearly down to 0, but its up again. Maybe the big whale is gone and the rest had to cover its exponential decreasing revenue.

Edit: Well, on my second thought that cant be possible, because the scoring hashrate should just equalize slowly.

I'm manually pointing my miners elsewhere until this gets hashed out.

It would be nice to hear something from "our captain" on the FB page...

Everything seems to be okay.  I powered them down and they are back up and running.  Just waiting for that scoring hash to get back right.

Looks like its settled down now .... but yeah, would be nice to hear what (if any) the issue was. Really strange that as slush has always been a steady pool connection-wise.

The Facebook page has indicated that it was a DDoS attack (as we guessed), with a second wave four hours ago.

My miners saw a few more hiccups last night and early this morning. At the moment the pool appears dead again, so we're not out of this yet.

I hate DDoSers. They should take their talents and apply them to constructive ways to make money instead of lame ass shake downs.

Also, you would think that if you wanted to hold a pool for ransom, you'd do it earlier in the no fee promotion, not on the last day.

So in addition to being lazy and evil, they're also stupid.

Strange this ... had one of my miners with very old firmware kicked off port 3301 about an hour ago and it failed to get onto the backup port 3333 but its been hashing away nicely to .... I don't know where as there are no other pools but it's been showing a reduced hashrate for that time!

So yeah, seems the DDoS attack is still alive and kicking. Damn, we were on some good luck streak prior to these shenanigans.

BIP101 voting disabled because of DDoS attack 6 days, 21 hours
We were forced to close voting ports 3301 for supporting BIP101 proposal.

Please, use the regular ports 3333 for now. We'll keep you updated.
