i'm using windows XP 32 bit!
woah woah, calm down, didn't mean to upset, lol XP wouldn't give you the restricts issues that vista and up would give. Also on Mac or linux if you have issues, run the app as sudo. I had to do that on my linux box to get bfgminer to work correctly with the usb erupters. I updated to the latest drivers , but now i lost Opencl support i get this: "Lacking OpenCL support. If you want to use GPUs, please install the latest drivers from your graphics card manufacturer." Maybe my card does not supoort opencl.

Maybe nvidia removed opencl support for windows xp in their latest drivers? AMD did this and if you use win xp the latest catalyst version you can use I think is 12.3. Yes, from march 2012. Later AMD drivers work on XP for graphics, but not OpenCL. Anyone know if nvidia has done the same?

Is my bat file incorrect? Is there anything I need to do with my router (port forward maybe) ? mining_proxy.exe -o mint.bitminter.com -qThat will do what you want, no need to specify a port if it is 3333. Try it without the -rt, I have never had any issues with my blades for the need to use -rt, what is your hash rate? parser.add_argument('-rt', '--real-target', dest='real_target', action='store_true', help="Propagate >diff1 target to getwork miners. Some miners work incorrectly with higher difficulty.")

can you please help me: I use Bitminter 1.1.2 because of my firewall. For mining I use a AMD 7770 but I have the problem that I get many miscalculations (for example 100accepted and 92 miscalculated). What can I do or is this normal?
That's one of the bugs in 1.1.2. It reports hardware errors that don't exist. It wasn't really prepared for var diff, but it works just with this cosmetic side effect. Depending on your OS there are some programs that can force another program to communicate through a proxy. You might be able to use the latest version that way. is this only a cosmetic effekt that the performance iof mining don't reduce? No tunneling works behind our firewall

No tunneling works behind our firewall I think most of it is cosmetic. But it would be better to run a newer version. Maybe you can use something like this: http://superuser.com/questions/18417/force-programs-that-do-not-specify-proxy-settings-to-use-a-proxy-ie-steam

Got a Newbie question...I've been using Bitminter for the last 3 weeks or so, at first with CPU/GPU, and over the last three days with a couple of Block Erupter Cubes. My issue is that I would be mining just fine except for about a day or so, my IPv4 Address started incrementing... XXX.XXX.1.83 to XXX.XXX.1.84 to XXX.xxx.1.85, etc. every 6-8 hours. With each increment I have to go into the Cube page to update the Pool Addresses in order to mine.
Is there a way to keep the address constant, so I don't have to keep updating the Cubes? Thanks for any replies!

If you are referring to your internal address, 192.168.1.x then yes, change it to static / manual. You need to look in your setting on your router to see the scope / range, and set the ip outside the scope If your scope is say 192.168.1.50-254 then you could assign your cube to something in the 192.168.1.2-49 range. You could also change the lease time to suit your needs, instead of 6 hours. Now, if you are referring to your public ip, you need to question why it is rotating every 6-8 hours, that shouldn't happen except every week or if restarted.

Thanks, that really helped! I logged onto my Netgear wireless router, and found out that I was two firmware updates behind. I updated it and made my IP static rather than dynamic...That seems to do the trick so far. We'll see in 24 hours or so.
Thanks again!

Glad to see it helped. As long as it was the internal ip issues, and you set them static you should have any issues anymore.

A further update...I went into my wireless adapter properties and unchecked the box letting my computer shut it down to save power. Did the final trick. Mining continuously now! Thanks again!

I have not been able to connect to mint.bitminter.com since sometime this morning, directly with cgminer or with a stratum proxy. Trying even to telnet directly to mint.bitminter.com on 3333, 8332, 80, or 5050 results in a connection timeout. I have reloaded the page at https://bitminter.com many times without any problems, although the live stats popup (on the "me" tab) shows no gauge image. Is there a problem? The site seems to be indicating other people are submitting work... *note this is all on a setup that has been functioning for months now

VPS, shared, dedicated hosting at: electronstorm.ca. No bitcoin payment for that yet, but bitcoins possible for general IT, and mining/GPGPU rigs. PM for details.

Do you have any plans in the future to expand your merged mining support to other alt coins?
