loving this pool.

question to people: currently i have speed of 400 mghps

which of those setups ud suggest for me to make most i can:
1. Easy Mode   - Allows you to mine at reduced difficulty by setting a higher than default target for proofs-of-work submits per minute
2. Prepay BTC   Immediate pay for bitcoin blocks. No waiting for 120 confirmations. No lost coins if the block is later orphaned. Note: does not apply to stale blocks.
3. Prepay NMC   Immediate pay for namecoin blocks. No waiting for 120 confirmations. No lost coins if the block is later orphaned. Note: does not apply to stale blocks.

im not too good with maths. heres my current stats:

IIRC Easy mode has no influence on "making the most".

Good info on the prepay perks:
http://organofcorti.blogspot.ch/2013/05/131-bitminter-and-luck.html and scroll down to point 5.

I noticed that the donation page ignores the hundredths when you're putting in a percentage. I was trying to put in 0.25% to activate the API perk, but it keeps rounding down to 0.2%. Ended up having to put in 0.3% to activate the perk. Tongue

That was the case for me too.

Damn, you have foiled my evil plan to extort extra donations out of users.  Shocked

Sorry about that. Fix coming up soon Smiley

Did you have any joy with the bitfury usb miner and the bitminter client or is this still wip?

Working on that right now. Should be done sometime this weekend I hope.

Hello, I just recently joined your pool. I'd like to use BFGMiner to mine on your pool but after giving in url, username and password BFGMiner just closes, no error. Using BFGminer for BTCGuild works flawlessly.

I'm using bitminter right now but I'd like to switch to BFGminer because I'm using a very old windows XP pc and letting anything with a GUI run more than a few hours causes the pc to respond very slow. Do you know what might be causing BFGminer to close?

I use stratum+tcp://mint.bitminter.com:3333 as url.

Thanks! I'll try that next week (my miners are at my parents, they're too loud to set them up in my dorm).

Fortunately it doesn't happen very often, but when it does they always seem to come in threes, just like London buses.

DrHaribo, if I have the prepay BTC perk turned on, should I ever see any BTC in the "unconfirmed" column under account details?

I checked immediately after the block was generated (block explorer didn't even have it yet - block 267950), so maybe that has something to do with it.

Best I can tell goin by the amperage is that brick would power what, 12 sticks at max load which would burn it out after a while if it was maxed. That being said, what would be a good brick to replace the one that comes with the below linked item, preferrably one with a little bit of head room so it's not maxed out ?

You wouldn't normally see it. But it takes a few seconds for the pool to distribute funds to miners after a block is found. It also takes a few seconds after that for cash out to happen for those who are over the threshold.

Have patience, and don't stare at the screen waiting for blocks - it causes bad luck Cheesy
