There is so much wrong in these seven words alone that I doubt you'd be able to properly judge what a good post even is, much less whether it's a noob or Legendary member who's making it.  What is clear is that you're obviously jealous of people who are getting their posts merited and that you're being kept from greater earnings via bounty shitposting.

I've learned in life that you can either write well or you can't, and the vast majority of people I've met have little talent for it, and I'm not talking about people here on bitcointalk--I'm talking about the people I've met in my country, where English is the official language.  So it's not a shock that everyone here who are from countries where English probably isn't even taught and who are trying to splice together phrases about how bitcoin is increasing day by day and has a bright future have no ability to write anything that resembles coherent content.  It's been proven more times than the Pythagorean Theorem.

When are you guys going to realize that more senior members haven't just started here, trying to earn money spamming for bounties?  They tend to have a more vested interest in bitcoin and bitcointalk, and they know more about bitcoin and the forum and thus have more interesting things to say.  Get over it.  Bitching about reality and how it's not conforming to your expectations is childish and ultimately futile.

The merit system is very difficult. You have to do a lot to get Merit. But sometimes you can not get the money back

Merit is like giving someone thumbs-up (e.g when you like a friends post on facebook)

As explained above the merit system was introduced to help prevent the posting of irrelevant and spam posts. You need this merit to progress to the next rank. Some merit are spendable that's you can reward others for quality post with it, while others are not. When you don't use those spendable merit it disappears.
Click on merit to see how many spendable merits you have.

Before you needed just activities to move to the next rank but now you need merits too and this will help reduce the rate of irrelevant (spam and scam) posts so their posts gets rewarded with merit.

In simple sentence when you merit someone for his post is like you're liking the post.

Kindly read the post again slowly and you will understand better

I don't think it is necessary to make infographics on merit system and its mechanism.
For lazy users, who don't want to spend their a couple of minutes to read the ANN topic created by the forum admin, Theymos, they will probably don't care about how merit system works.
Therefore, such infographics is still irrelevant for their objectives.
For those users who readily to learn and have already spent their time to read the ANN, the infographics and the same ones are irrelevant for them, too. All essentials stuffs presented in the Theymos's ANN.

Try to increase your post's quality, not your post counts. In this merit era, if you have an excellent post, even it is only a few, it will give you a lot of merit.

It is difficult indeed, but it is not an impossible task.

Bounty threads and one-liners to bump ICO ANN threads is all you know. The Merit system was put in place to stop you ranking up and it is working.

Of course it is important what goals and tasks the forum. But there are people who learn a lot and in detail the various ICO and have experience in this field. And their knowledge and skills may also need to be evaluated, but a different scale of values and merits. separated from the existing merits. I for example was interested in communicating to know how many projects the person was a sponsor and helped them to promote their ideas in kryptomere and a separate branch of the merits of the investors. Could give the opportunity in a separate area to speak to people with a different mindset and have their grades, which also had its value.

Merits is a new system implemented by bitcointalk forums. The effect of this merit occurs on the rank jr member to member. A person who occupies the rank jr member must have ten merit to go up to the next rank that is member.

Unused sMerit (sendable Merit). I think it's supposed to incentive rewarding others with merit and punish those that hoard their sMerit.
The merit system works only if people actively use it, else everyone is stuck at their current rank.

I wish there would have been some sort of option of giving dislike (-ve merit) to the spam/LQ posts and if any post receives certain -ve merits/dislikes,it should be automatically deleted /hidden

Given the concerns about abuse even with only positive merit, I dont know if I would support that.
There's a whole other level to possible abuse vectors when adding negative merit as well, that can decrease somebodies rank.

I agree , the negative merit can be use for vengeance propuse , or simply to put down people from a rival coin. In the long run , people with the better post will standout .

Side note. Cause the file is uploaded on the middle of the week and I do the spreadsheet on the end of the week, weeks results cutted in 2 but overall data must be the same with other people here. Always used this way to calculate it, so the % is based on my data. (overall must be the same with other users data, only few 0.0x % difference)

So far 22.6 k sMerit on April. (Keep in mind missing 3-4 days)
Some sources must be afk or they do not want spend all of it, or maybe they can't find constructive posts! (imho) Cause if we considering some sMerit rewarded from airdop and some other sMerit rewarded from normal users, the number must be bigger (sources generate around 18k montly).
