I love kraken, just two things that i'd like to see (to raise the perfect status):

1) Confirmations required for deposits lowered from 6 to 2 (enough to prevent the vast majority of double spend attacks)
2) Btc withdrawal fee lowered from 0.0005 to 0.0001, i mean, the fiat value of 0.0005 btc it's more than the required 9 cents to do a SEPA wire, first time that I see an exchange where FIAT transfers are cheaper Cheesy

Glad to hear you are enjoying our service and thanks for the feedback!

Regarding 1), I believe the devs are considering lowering the number of required transactions, but nothing has been decided yet. Regarding 2), I think it's time that we reconsider the bitcoin withdrawal fee, so I'll make sure it goes on the agenda. I agree that it does seem wrong for a EUR withdrawal to be cheaper!  Cheesy But in part at least that's a testament to our low bank fees for SEPA transfers.

while Fidor to Fidor transactions are cost free, kraken charges 0.09€ per fidor withdraw.

Yes I guess all SEPA transfers from Fidor to everywhere in EU are free. The 0.09€ is maybe just to covering other costs, like account management fees or something like that?

New page is looking good but I hate that everytime this stupid video shows. And also I liked that I typed kraken.com and could see current rates. Now I need to type kraken/charts and this is a little annoying. But this is just my opinion.

I don't like the new design =/
It looks provisionally... and these yellow numbers... *urgh*
The most irritating thing I found so far is the "Trade/New Order" screen. In the old design the whole thing was in one box.  Now it is not edged and looks like the tools are placed in nowhere. (I hope you understand what I want to say, don't know if I used the right english words to describe.. )

I can live with this new design, but the old was far better and the blue was characteristically for Kraken. Now it's gone and looks provisionally.

Was surprised to see the new design. Luckily only the landing page has really changed and the functionality of the rest of the site wasn't compromised. Good to see you guys keeping trendy.

Announcement: Please note that we will be launching a new site design within a few days. So don't be too shocked when you come to the site and see that it has a very different look.  Smiley

You can read our blog post about the new design here:

http://blog.kraken.com/post/112740489382/new-kraken-site-design

Just saw the new kraken design, and did not login. First I checked in here to find an announcement from Dargo, too many bad things happen nowadays  ya know ...
How does the old saying go: " Never change a running system"
I wouldn't have expected that anyone would see a need to have the design changed. I assumed there are more important tweaks to be done Wink

Need to get used to it...

Thanks for the feedback amacar - we think a lot of people typed kraken.com to quickly check price and leave. While that is convenient, it gives our site a very high bounce rate, which in turn hurts our ranking in search results and makes it harder to grow (and hence increase liquidity). We moved all the market data to kaken.com/charts to see how this impacts the bounce rate and will certainly bring it back if there is little change. Also, we will look at how we might provide an easy way to check price that doesn't involve bouncing from the homepage. After your first visit to the site, the video shouldn't play (unless you clear cookies). We already  plan to make the sound mute by default, so that won't play unless you click the sound button.

Sorry to hear you don't like it. For the new order screen, is there a loss of functionality for you? Or is it that you find that the order screen isn't as clean to look at? I'm not sure if not having it all in "one box" as you say is harming the functionality or just the look for you.

Yeah, we've had a lot of complaints about that and will be making the sound mute be default.

I meant just the design/look. It looks like tools are placed in nowhere. That's irritating for the eyes.

But I found a harm in functionality because of the design change: the "refresh" button now does not change color, if you can't do a refresh.  Before the design change it was light blue and then dark blue.  Now it's just white... (okay the arrow is grey and then gets black.. but hard to see the difference)

By the way I have three suggestions (has nothing to do with the design)
1. Make it possible to click the refresh button more than every 10 seconds, every second would be better. (for now if you click refresh, you have to wait 10 seconds to click it again)
2. Create a button to cancel all open orders at once. (maybe with a confirmation pop up)
3. Improve the cancel process. After clicking at the X to cancel an order, it takes ~3 seconds after the order disappers (you can't cancel the next order during this 3 seconds because then you get an error message). In addition to that there is a kind of animation (the order getting red and the disappears). Maybe it would be faster if you disable this useless animation. (or let the user decide in settings, if they want those animations), because I think this animation is the reason why it does not work properly

@Dargo

After checking out the whole new kraken.com site, and I already like it much better.

Question:
A photo of you 'Dargo' is not on "THE TEAM" page. https://www.kraken.com/en-us/about/team  Why is that?

@Dargo

Yeah, like Serpens I have been thinking about the very same thing:
I'd like to see a change of the way how to cancel all/some open orders.  ( idea: put check boxes in front of all orders, and a check box above all other check boxes ( as seen in gmail )
So we can choose 'some' or 'all' open orders to be cancelled.

Example Scenario:
Imagine you create a 100BTC limit buy order at €250 , with conditional close position @ limit sell €260
Now, the limit buy order gets filled s_l_o_w_l_y at €250, and for each successful buy action a new limited €260 sell order is created.
So depending on how many single buy actions were needed to fill the order at €250, as many conditional close sell orders will have been created.

If you then change your mind and now need to quickly sell at €255 because you see the price won't go up to €260, you currently have to manually cancel all these open sell orders ( the way Serpens described it ).
Which would take in our example up to a couple of minutes and definitely hurts the user experience and in this case might lead to not being able not manually create a new sell order at €255 in time, as it takes too long to cancel each single order manually. At this point you would loose money/btc.

As a quick solution, an additional check box for: 'Cancel all orders?' would make life easier.
