Pakistan vs New Zealand, 1st ODI


Tomorrow will be another competitive match between Pakistan and New Zealand. Two Tests were held between them, both were finished in draw. Betting sites shows Pakistan ahead but I can't say New Zealand is weak in any way. I think the Pakistan team is slightly favored to play at Pakistan's home ground. But that can not be a big distance. But since both the teams have good cricketers, it is difficult to say who will win.

I do not see how Pakistan team is favorite in the ODI when they had a miserable performances in the test series. Only having the matches in home ground does not grantee that they will win the ODI matches or the series. Just Remember that only the bad light saved the last test match, otherwise Pakistan had lost that one too.
For those who want to bet on the ODI match, i would suggest them to wait and see how the team perform in the first match. Based on that, a more comprehensive bet can be placed in 2nd ODI.

I think so. Watching the first match would have given a better idea. Risk is a common thing in betting. But if we understand the current performance of the two teams, the chances of winning in betting will be more. A three-match ODI series will be held. Since New Zealand played well in the Test match, they will play well in the ODIs as well. There is no chance to think of them as weak. But playing at Pakistan's home ground, they too will be desperate to do well. Bets can be taken on the 2nd ODI if we want to reduce the risk.

I have to say Pakistan started really well. They have already got one wicket and have only given three runs. 2.4 overs have been bowled. New Zealand is finding it really hard early on. They will have to stay in the middle and make sure that they do not lose any more wickets at least in the first 10 overs. Right now it feels like Pakistan made the right decision of bowling first.

Newzealand 5 wickets gone already on 154 runs and 35 overs played till now.  Pakistan balling side kind of restricted Newzealand batting lineup to score a big target . If run rate goes like this Kiwis will score maximum of 250 runs in 50 overs .
Main concern is Pakistan batting let's see what PCB have done about that.

Babar Azam has reached half a century in Karachi as well. A captain's knock from Babar Azam helped Pakistan chase down the runs so far. Rizwan and Babar Azam are both batting well right now. There are only 89 runs needed with the next 84 deliveries, so killing the momentum would not be a good idea.  It would be absolutely wrong if they didn't win this match from here on.
