I think Trump will win. I believe in him as a smarter person who understands the inner workings of the state. He is a businessman and knows very well what and how to do to stay in the spotlight. Remember - he was even in WWE. And this is crazy in a good way! And he was also shot. Trump is a very bright personality, and I think he will be president.

Being a women seems to be her only achievement to boast off. Honestly, I thought that the Democrats could have managed to nominate someone a bit more talented. But Kamala Harris? I have to agree with you because some of Biden's actions already show that he is not physically and mentally fit to be President. On the other hand, even if Kamala Harris has some hype, it can be seen that Trump is winning ultimately. I think that many people were unhappy with Donald last time, and in general people are rarely happy with politicians, because they blame them for their poverty and lack of money or other problems, and if there is at least one new and somewhat sane candidate, they will choose him. Actually, you have a point there. I was listening to one of her campaign promises and I giggle my head when she said she is going to make America great again and I was like, "aren't you in the office right now since Biden has been away in sick bed praying for November to come so he can go home and rest with his families but it's because she doesn't know what to say or probably campaign was scripted and she has to follow read what was written for her.

Joe Biden was very much unfit to run for a second term and my best guess is thar Democrats were simply pushing him to keep going because he was their best bet to win it — he did it before, who says he can't do it again? Anyway, it got escalated after that debate with Trump where he basically couldn't challenge most arguments and was absent most of the time. They knew people would back away if he doesn't seem fit enough to lead a country. So that's how Kamala came into the limelight.

Whoever took a bet on KH in January when her odds were insanely high should be eating real good if she ends up winning in November.

"Electioneering" is a word that's literally talking about this. It's the profession where it talks about how you should be doing your campaign, because your campaign isn't just about who you are, it's mostly also about who you are going against as well.

If you go against someone who is right wing, you have to be left wing to get those votes, but you need to be careful enough that you could get independents as well. Trump is known for not getting independents that much, but he almost got them after the shot, thankfully that got a lot better and we are not doing that badly right now.

Actually she was also elected District Attorney of San Fransicso twice.  Then she was elected Attorney General of California twice.  Then she was elected to the US Senate, and then Vice President.

How so?  The United States economy recovered from Covid stronger than nearly every other country in the world when you consider inflation, gdp growth, unemployment, labor market, crime rates etc.  (I think Finland, Norway and Denmark are the only ones that had a stronger economy, perhaps there are a couple more you could argue, but the US was definitely towards the top of the list with a population that is greater than most countries combined)

There probably will be more illegal (and legal) immigration.  But the "more wars" argument is just as silly as if I were to claim that if Trump were elected there would be more pandemics.  (also worth noting that a global pandemic results in less geopolitical violence, but not fewer deaths)

As for inflation, all of the economic policies Trump has been campaigning on have been inflationary.  There's a reason that when Trump was peaking between the assasination attempt and the RNC the US bond market shot up.  It's because all of his policies would cause more inflation, which would mean long term increased interest rates, which makes bonds more valuable.  Plus, Trump has a history of using his power to pressure the fed not to raise interest rates in the short term, which we all know is the most direct way to cause inflation.

I'm not really sure about that. It's not like you have a clean coin flip with 50/50.

The candidates themselves are very different people. They tell different stories, they reveal different things, etc.

Given two candidates, you only would have 50/50 if you literally know nothing about them, not even their names.

The moment you start adding information about them, such as name, age, sex, history, etc, then clearly the current citizens of a given country will have different opinions about each candidate.

And those probabilities will keep changing based on the new facts and stories that happen before the elections.
