1321  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 26, 2022, 08:35:51 AM

It wasn't Jordan Clarkson's fault on why Zion had that injury, it was a clean block and it's been replayed many times after the incident. It was a scary fall though, the Pelicans needed to give Zion some rest first while the season had just started which they did because Zion wasn't in the game earlier versus the Mavericks. Anyway, is there any update regarding Zion's situation and Ingram too?

Yes, I agree with that, anyone who saw the video would easily tell that it was a clean block. Zion made a wrong move when trying to dunk the ball as he puts the ball behind him, I think he wasn't expecting that Clarkson was behind him, so that happen, but it was just a clean play, no intention to injure him.
1322  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: October 26, 2022, 08:14:00 AM
Final score: 134-105 in favor of Phoenix Suns, it was a 29 point play and the Suns have won all 4 quarters without giving the Warriors a chance to have their own turn. Klay Thompson was ejected on the game after playing less than 20 minutes because of their heated conversation with Devin Booker.

What happened to the Warriors? they lost to the Suns by this big margin. I can't believe it, looks like the Warriors are not in synch, and they are shooting a very low percentage in the 3-point area which was supposed to be their strength, 10-35 from 3 point area, can't believe it.
1323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why ETH price keeps decreasing? on: October 25, 2022, 01:36:40 PM
For Ethereum not really having a good increase despite it's merging and it's supply being burned, I guess the main reason is that there are no investors or more sellers simply as that. Nevertheless it doesn't mean that Ethereum is not a good project to invest, it's the second best behind bitcoin.
and to be more precise is because merging will be like a long term project taking a very long time.
and it's all also influenced by the ongoing bearish market that causes investors to be afraid to invest in coins other than bitcoin even though ethereum is the second best after bitcoin.
maybe we can see what will happen in the future after the bulls come maybe ethereum will have a slightly better increase than this
I hope we could see the impact of the said merge someday but for now, we can't blame people for considering it to have a negative impact because that is what we see. The decline after the merge? It is really hard to appreciate that thing as we are expecting the price rally after, unfortunately, it goes in a different direction that embarrasses to most of us.

I see ETH still has the potential but I don't have to expect that because of the merge we will see its price move high. Because at this time, I was already relying upon the upcoming halving which helps to increase demand and uplift the price.
1324  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is regulation really inevitable? on: October 25, 2022, 12:48:45 PM
Honestly, I don't wish to have it but can't deny the possibility that one day this will come to the crypto world for a reason. However, I don't think it was regrettable, not in the case that it will ruin the entire market but seems to give us protection from the continuous spread of scams and hacking incidents that terribly shake and give worries to the investors and holders this time. I have no clue when it comes but as it was already been implemented in other countries, this will also happen to our country as well sooner.
1325  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: October 24, 2022, 08:47:36 AM

Hahaha, Never say die as always, lucky for bettors who believe in that spirit, especially during the final quarter they are enjoying the game when Ginebra starts to rally back and force Mags to make a tough shots then missed. More alcohol after winning their bets, for sure!

You can really feel that they are gonna win if they will try to rally from a big deficit because it's hard to flip the momentum again, once they are in control, it will be hard for their opponent to beat them, that's why I believe it's nice if we will always put a bet live when they are down big.

That instinct is always there if you are a Ginebra fan, but if not, you'll doubt they'll come back because Magnolia was the number 1 team before the game. Now, magnolia is not anymore undefeated, thanks to Ginebra's winning streak killer skill.  Grin
1326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin to be used for micropayments on Twitter? on: October 21, 2022, 09:32:28 AM
oin
snipped
The all time high of Dogecoin is about $0.64, not far to $1.

Dogecoin currently is traded around $0.06 that is a very good entry. Price chart still has an open gap under $0.06 but it is a good support for Dogecoin. I believe it will bounce back from $0.06 to about $0.1 to $0.12. I don't wish Dogecoin to hit $1 and $0.12 is enough for me in a bear market.

You are right too that Dogecoin only can hit $1 if there are two conditions occur: Bitcoin is in its bull market. Dogecoin gets a massive support and an explosive news like being accepted at Twitter as one of its payment methods.
This is an example to see how influential he is. Elon Musk acquires Twitter for something to earn money, not just for fun and pleasure.
After the said event and big news, Dogecoin is moving up, and people are expecting a price rally. Well, we know the huge community of Dogecoin that is a big factor. However, it was not the right time to expect Dogecoin to hit $1 unless we are in bull season. I couldn't assume this even reach that far but of course, we can't deny the fact that Elon Musk can manipulate the market if he wants.
1327  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Payed trading person to follow on: October 21, 2022, 09:00:10 AM
Hello guys,

I am looking for someone that has a group or a similar thing that allows you to pay a subscription and tells you his trading pairs...
Thank you.
It is just like looking for someone who could scam you. Maybe I was just kidding but the truth is that may you can find someone who makes such a favor but never think it will become profitable and work well. Honestly, I don't give advice of doing that, not because it is risky but because I'm not sure if that person is the right person for you. Instead of doing this, make help of yourselves to learn trading personally is this even make you more knowledgeable. Stop being lazy but have work on your own if you want to grow and know more about trading.
1328  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will digital dollar be a threat to bitcoin? on: October 20, 2022, 10:05:37 AM
Both of them are in digital form, and this gives an option for the people which one to choose. As you can see, there is no threat to existing as it remains these two are just a sort of payment option to where people like to use it depending on the availability. In fact, we can't even say that ETH and other cryptocurrencies are a threat to Bitcoin also knowing that they all have their market role to play just like the digital dollar.

We also have Digital Yuan, it is to see that many countries will do the same creating their local currency in digital form just to give convenience to their netizens as well.
1329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mnemonic is no longer safe? on: October 20, 2022, 09:39:18 AM
Mnemonic and private keys - perhaps they are safe as long as you know how to keep safe of these things. But if you just keep this on your computer, and save it online, I could imagine that it was easy to trace and lead to the cracking of your account. Well, I was not sure how you keep that and in your friend but most scenarios that lead to this are because we are practicing the wrong way of keeping them until we realized that our wallet has been accessed by an unauthorized person.
1330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Realizing the value of holding cash on: October 19, 2022, 10:32:27 PM
There are so many people during bull runs that run out of cash because they like to buy all they could buy to ride the wave, which results with them losing a lot of money when the crash finally starts, it could go up a lot, and I mean A LOT, but eventually it will go down, so having a little bit of your profit cashed out could benefit you.

It is because we usually do not think about the future but of just today. Mostly we did no preparation as we thought money is easy to get. People are sometimes blind to see the reality that once the bull season end, the bear market starts, it is usually out of our mind while enjoying the bull party and making a lot of money during that time. Most of us are financially illiterate and have no control over spending money which makes no wonder why we don't have a money reserve.
1331  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: October 19, 2022, 07:06:31 AM

I guess their unification fight will still happen and it's inevitable because both of them are looking forward to make their own respective legacy, although I think there will be some stalling first  and knowing Casimero, he might bark to lift the hype until their fight is official. It might be delayed but it won't last long.

If Inoue will move up, there are champions that he has to beat, Casimero is not a champ so he also needs to win more fights like Inoue's gonna do. I hope to see them fight together because Casimero has been challenging Inoue when he was still a champion, but Inoue just ignore the challenge and fight an old Donaire, I don't know if he is just playing safe or what.
1332  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 19, 2022, 06:28:13 AM
Golden State Warriors vs LA Lakers
123 - 109

Golden State Warriors are fun to watch. The way they execute their plays and the way the ball is rotating; the execution is just perfect. Poole and Wiggins showed the crowed why they deserve that contract extension. They came in balling tonight.

on the other hand

The Lakers are just a mess right now, especially in the third quarter. There is no defense, and the offense is totally nowhere to be found. Their plays are a mess. It is just the first game but we already see that there is a lot to fix in this team in order to be competitive again. If they play weaker teams, they will be alright but against a well-organized team with good chemistry, they will surely struggle.

That’s pretty much what I was expecting to see. With Jordan Poole coming out of nowhere playing at the level he is it really makes Golden State nearly unbeatable. They won’t be able to afford to pay all their guys much longer though.

I thought the Lakers looked alright in the second half. They had a nice run at the end when shots started falling. They just shot terribly most of the game. If they can figure out a way to get Hield or another long range shooter I think they’d be alright.

Offense and defense, Warriors is a well balance team and I think they have a very big chance of winning a back to back championship with the way they are playing. What we saw is a healthy Warriors, great rotation of players, so winning is just easy for them.

As usual, it's still Curry who leads the team, tonight he made 33 points, and it looks effortless on his part.
1333  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Copy trading profitable? on: October 18, 2022, 01:20:08 PM

The title of this thread makes a lot of people respond whether copy trades will be profitable or not, but what the Op really asking is whether being lead traders on copy trades will profitable or not.
I have responded before that it is very possible to be profitable because the lead traders will get profit sharing but the profits of traders are reduced because they have to be shared with the leader.
And there are always traders who prefer to copy traders or follow signal groups because they feel it is a waste of time to analyze the market on their own, but such an attitude will make our trading knowledge undeveloped.
It is a profit-sharing that makes these trade leaders earn without taking a risk. Nobody will take that position if ever it was not profitable but many do which means, they are earning. Some people, lazy traders are often using this, trusting someone is not a wrong move, and even do copy trading but there is one thing we should do and that is to change this mindset as it was better to rely upon ourselves than rely on others. We'd learned already and I think it was enough to start our own.
1334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: determine a good project on: October 18, 2022, 12:48:49 PM
Invest in projects that we know it has the capability to grow, not those projects built in the hype and live shortly OP. There are a ton of projects flooded on the market and only a few of them are worthy and reliable while the majority are scam and shitcoins. Likely, if we invest unknowingly, we have no reason to ask ourselves why we lose as this really be the thing to happen on us as the results of being careless and lazy to do research.
1335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Vasiliy Lomachenko vs Jamaine Ortiz - October 29 on: October 18, 2022, 06:57:41 AM
Ok, I don't think that someone has posted a video of Ortiz as we mostly talked about Loma and his comeback back.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b8qBBb0Jn_c

So what do you guys think? Is this kind of performance against former champion in Herring will upset Loma? Or the kid has a lot to learn still as he have said in the post fight interview. Things that he needs to improved. Nevertheless, it's priceless experience just to share the ring with Loma and it can bring something to Ortiz who is still very young at 26 years old.

He was good in that fight because he won that fight, but Herring is already old, I mean he fought a leftover while this time he will face Loma who is still at his prime, so it's not going to be the same as Loma will certainly make it look like a walk in the park.
1336  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Haney vs Kambosos II (Undisputed) on: October 18, 2022, 06:16:09 AM
Haney was smart because he made the right adjustment, but when Haney adjusted, Kambosos should also counter it, but it didn't happen, he stick with his strategy despite the fact that Haney had already read it, Kambosos was lucky that Haney is not a KO artist, if he was, that fight would certainly end in KO.

I think the outcome would be different if Haney is a knock-out artist as he will be the aggressor and prone to Kambosos' counters just like what happened to Teofimo Lopez. Haney's style has brought him this far and the only downside of his style is how to draw a large crowd to watch his fights because, to be honest most of the fans are not excited to watch his fights.

Most likely, but isn't it too much of a talent having the speed, the ring IQ, and a KO artist? Smiley
Well, not every boxers are perfect, they also have their weakness, but the good thing with Haney is that he was able to use his skills very well nad it is evident by his undefeated record.
1337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: They want your money by all means possible on: October 17, 2022, 11:00:06 PM
even audited projects can still be scams. Sometimes some people who already have experience can still meet scammers and then lose their money they always have a way to take our money. I usually rarely spend money on crypto unless it's a top rated project.
That's very common and yet it won't be called scams to them since they hide behind their rules and regulations saying that you broken one of their rules so they have the authority to claim your funds that you deposited in their platform. This schemes are known from casino owners or gambling site owners. That's why there aren't lots of gambling sites that are reputable and trusted known in this forum compared to all gambling sites that promoted their project here.
They put that acceptable excuses and innocent people lose their money too easily. Even in exchanges, many unclaimed or withdrawn funds are due to some mistakes that freeze their account and take over it. This is the reason why we should spend some time reading their rules just also to be aware and not remain ignorant of their platform. Because in case that we never understand their rules, then we also have a reason to raise complain or even leave, this is the only way we got safe from them and scam sites.
1338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: And officially worst year for investors on: October 17, 2022, 10:28:24 PM
2022 is going to be the worst year for crypto investors. Any thoughts guys?
Well, I feel how disappointing it was but never I claim this is the worst year in crypto because if we could even remember that last 2018-2020 bear season, you can really imagine how difficult the situation was. We need to understand the way how the market works, I believe the cycle goes like this and it changes frequently. And instead of claiming it was the worst year of crypto better consider this as a great opportunity for us, especially for newcomers as they can buy Bitcoin in a cheaper price.
1339  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Vasiliy Lomachenko vs Jamaine Ortiz - October 29 on: October 17, 2022, 01:39:47 PM
As of now, the real basis is the odds, we can only see the real status between them once they are already in the ring. When Lopez fought Loma, Loma was also heavily favored, but personally, I don't think that will happen again here as I believe Loma had already learned his lesson.

He already learned the hard way and he will not be the same as when he fought Lopez, Lomachenko will be more careful at the start of the rounds and this fight will not end early unless Loma smells some blood that will gonna trigger finish his opponent earlier than expected. it's really not hard to come back from a long time rest in the boxing ring when you still got all the skills and instinct to win every fight and this one will be just like a practice match for Loma if he can find his rhythms in the early rounds.

And Loma still has that, so it's not going to be hard for him to beat  Jamaine Ortiz although I have to say that he is not an easy opponent. Loma is a very discipline fighter, he does not throw trash talk a lot, all he does is impress the fans with his very technical style, so hopefully we will again see it here.

This Ortiz is a good challenge for Loma's skill but it's a good preparation against Haney if they agreed to meet I'm sure they will, compared to other boxers in the higher weight division, fighters from lower weight are easy to create a deal, with the exception of Ryan Garcia who keeps avoiding top fighters in his division, both Haney and Lomachecnko are risk takers and when you are a risk taker, you will be rewarded with titles and big fights.

Jamaine Ortiz is undefeated with 16 wins, so yes, it's a good preparation for Loma going to his big fight with Haney. I think both wants to fight each other, so fans we can expect that Haney and Loma will fight early next year. This seemed to be an easy fight as we can see on the betting odds, bookies will not lie, that's how small the chance of Jamaine Ortiz making an upset here, however, since he is undefeated, Loma should not be too complacent.
1340  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: October 17, 2022, 01:13:39 PM
Butler knows he is not so durable, so if you witness his previous fight, his strategy is more on hit and run, and it works well for him. However, we are talking of Inoue the Beast, he is quick unlike the fighters Butler defeated in the past, so for sure Inoue can hurt Butler and could possibly KO him.

and also Naoya Inoue has a big advantage which is the age factor, at 29 years old he will undoubtedly have more resistance than Paul Butler who is 33 years old, this age issue also counts a lot in these fights

We don't have to discuss the age advantage of Inoue because Butler is not yet old, Errol Spence is already 32 years old and yet he is still one of the best boxers in our generation. The thing is, even if Butler is the younger fighter, I still don't think he can beat the style and talent of Inoue.

Age is just a number if you are a discipline boxer, and of course a talented one in order to excel in this sport. Errol Spence is a good example, he is already at 30+ and yet he still is the champion, I know Crawford is trying to beat him but if their fight is not gonna happen, we will not know who is better than the two.

It's suppose to be great to watch two undisputed championships, but I think this one will only push and not the Spence vs Crawford.
