1361  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: May 26, 2023, 07:45:43 PM
I am not entirely sure if the punishment for Juventus had anything to do with super league or not, but this doesn't really benefit serie A to listen to them neither. Think about it, Juventus is one of the all time most known and successful teams in their league and punishing them constantly means you are losing one good team.

This doesn't mean other teams are bad by the way, I love Inter, Milan, Roma, Napoli and they are all doing fine even Lazio is doing great this season but that doesn't mean that you could afford to remove one of the better teams and just punish them. This will result with the team that deserves to be higher up and represent them on European competitions will be missing and someone who didn't deserve it will replace them, is that just for the league?
1362  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which YouTube influencers to counter trade? on: May 26, 2023, 07:15:04 PM
This wouldn't work neither. I mean obviously OP already knows following youtubers to trade wouldn't work since he is looking for someone to counter trade and that looks like a more serious threat to them. But at the same time, we are talking about something reverse wouldn't really work neither. How would you know when they will be right and when they will wrong, you could do what they say and they could be wrong and you lose money but you could do opposite of what they say and they could be right and you would lose again.

So, it is much wiser to just ignore them, not even have a remotely small tiny idea what they are doing and that way they would be doing a lot better. I personally would prefer that a lot and could help them on the long run as well.
1363  Economy / Economics / Re: Which stocks to buy? on: May 26, 2023, 06:01:50 PM
To go with stocks instead of crypto during this period makes me wonder if people are still mad. I mean stocks are just companies, companies crash, they bankrupt, there is nothing that can make you trust a company more than you could trust some crypto.

I would trust the biggest company, apple (or is it tesla now) as much as I trust BNB at most, which is third coin, and that is the biggest company, I would feel like ETH and BTC is a better investment than any other company anywhere on the world, it's just as simple as that. Some may disagree with me but that is how I see it and I will continue to see it that way forever. People are just overly fond of these stocks because that is how it has been for a while and they are having trouble changing their perspective.
1364  Economy / Economics / Re: The thin line between contentment & living below potential, Patience & wasting t on: May 26, 2023, 04:10:43 PM
I never understood looking down on people who make less money and still feel happy. I mean these people are not preferring that life style, they have that life and they are trying to be happy about it.

Obviously when something terrible happens that can be fixed with money, it would be lovely to have money. For example, a loved one had cancer and they paid good money to get rid of it and she is nove healthy, I am so glad that she had a lot of money to do that, it was a wonderful time. That's when you need money, but if you look at my life, food, my pc, something to drink, water or ice tea is fine, a place to sleep, these are all bare minimum stuff, why would you look down on me for trying to be happy with these for example? If I can be, let me be.
1365  Economy / Economics / Re: Success in finance and investment is a journey of finding your true self on: May 26, 2023, 03:40:50 PM
I believe that realizing what kind of investor you are is the most important thing when investing. Too many people are looking into investment as "one true way to make money" and that's not how it works. This is also why you can't be doing what others are doing and expect a lot of money, it just can't happen and will not happen.

You have to realize that you are doing something that is profitable only if you do it the way you feel alright about. In order to do that you need to test out many methods and surely some of them will be what others tell you to, but just try out as many as possible until you find one you love, and while you keep doing what you love, try out more stuff as well just in case you may end up finding something you love even more.
1366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not be pulled by the hype of meme coins on: May 26, 2023, 11:38:03 AM
Too many people do this mistake and I hope that they get a bit better about it, I know that it is not going to be so simple and I know that it will take some time but that is the reality and that is how it should be. I believe that people are getting too hyped about all of this and they get a result they are not happy about and in return they talk about how they could have done better if this happened or that happened. They could have done better if they didn't fall for a memecoin that's it.

Look at any big name launchpad out there today, even today, and you will see bunch of fake meme projects getting funded and that is why the crypto market is not moving higher. If all that money went to higher name projects then we could have started a big increase already.
1367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFT OR MEMES on: May 25, 2023, 09:49:15 PM
Absolutely neither, there is no scenario where I would be fine investing into either any NFT or any meme project ever. I would buy an NFT for the lols, but not for investment, I would do it to purchase it and make it mine but that's it, wouldn't be planning on selling it for a higher price later on, that is not going to happen anyway. Same goes for meme, if I want to participate which I have never before aside from very very early days of doge, then I would buy not for investment purposes but to show my support.

These are not good investment assets, they are terrible ideas and should be avoided if possible. Always look for things that are financially oriented and not fun based, money is not funny, it's always serious, and so is the market when it comes to making profit.
1368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: May 25, 2023, 08:29:31 PM
I highly doubt that Celtics could do anything to win, not just game based but the series. Why? Because not only they are trailing 3-1, you need them to win one more to put pressure on Heat, then another one if they can snatch a win, and then another one thanks to momentum... That's 3 games in a row and you are expecting Heat to just be dumbfounded during all this time? Obviously not, just a single game, one game where the ball doesn't drop as well as you hope for, and you got yourself a loss of the series.

I still think that Heat will end it tonight and we are going to see them get a few days rest, it is going to be an easy game for them and I do not see a way out of this by Celtics, no matter how much they try and how hard they work, it won't happen.
1369  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Crypto coin Do You Gamble with the Most? on: May 25, 2023, 05:22:15 PM
Well, for me it is a few one, it isn't "anything goes" situation because it is not, not everything goes, it has nothing to do with that. But unfortunately that is not what we are seeing today as the poll options. I do btc, I do busd, I do bnb, those are the three main ones, that doesn't mean that I would be fine with anything, that's not what I believe.

I need to trust the currency first before the casino, if a casino does just dogecoin and nothing more, then even if the casino is the most legit casino in the world, I would still not gamble there at all. However, when we are talking about something more, like something that includes the three I named, then I would start checking the casino to see if it is good or not, that would be better.
1370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins airdrops you received so far for the year 2023 on: May 24, 2023, 09:24:18 PM
I am not sure if airdrops even worth it in 2023 anymore, don't think I even participated in any of them and I doubt that I would do that. I think it is better to look at it a bit different way and it would make a lot more sense if you could end up with a better return.

Plenty of people will look at it differently and I know that there are a lot of people who consider this as a great return as well. I believe that we should approach this airdrop problem as something that is not our problem, since there are still some people who make profit here and there, it will not end anytime soon but I believe that it should. Why accept working for a money that the person created for, doesn't make sense, and shouldn't be done to begin with anyway.
1371  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: May 24, 2023, 09:08:52 PM
I feel like no matter how long Neymars contract is, if the team says they do not want him and they want him to find another club, he is good enough to find another club, and he would be going for a good amount of money as well. I know that not a lot of people think of him as a great player anymore due to his injuries and obviously he will not be sold for 200+, that was already a stupid decision even back then, let alone now that he is much older.

However, he will find a place that would be willing to pay top money for him, many are talking about a potential Newcastle transfer. Which means, if PSG calls him up and tells him Newcastle has an offer and they want him to leave, it would be unwise of him to not accept that, why stay at a team that doesn't want you when there is a team willing to pay top money just to have you.
1372  Economy / Economics / Re: Not all banks are going bust. on: May 24, 2023, 08:06:15 PM
I think some banks are doing better because they had better investments, and some banks will collapse because they had bad investments and that is the difference, we are going to see that happen a lot better and a lot more.

I however believe that all banks should be regulated a lot more and that will cause some of them to bankrupt, but I am fine with making them publicly owned, and that means our tax money will go towards making banks do better and not "saving" a bank, but actually owning them. This will make sure that everyone gets their money, any private bank can follow up the laws, and any who can't will be just publicly owned by the government. Like it or not, that will make the future a lot better for everyone without a doubt.
1373  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: May 23, 2023, 08:16:39 PM
I am not going to like, I have to say that I did not expected Lakers to get swept at all, that was an unexpected situation for me as well and Nuggets really did something wonderful there. I understand that it wasn't really that better for Lakers to hang on, because after 3-0 it was obvious that they would lose and go away and that is why we are talking about a situation where it would be Nuggets winning so why try to take that extra game, just lose and go to vacation already and start your offseason.

However, I did not see this coming before the series started, it looks like something that would have beaten a lot of people as well and bets must have been something that made the sportsbooks a lot of money as well, definitely unexpected result in the end.
1374  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: scalping Bitcoin vs. other assets on: May 23, 2023, 07:10:32 PM
I think neither is good, scalping is a very tough and grinding method that requires so much grunt work that most of the time the end result doesn't really worth it and I would highly suggest not doing it at all. I mean think about it this way, what would it happen if we all kept on doing something like this at all times and not make too much, wouldn't we give up?

I would personally give up and not really do anything about it anymore ever again. Instead of doing this, why not do something easier? Like long term investment, or easy spot trading based on TA? Those are easy stuff and I would highly suggest everyone to do it, that would make a lot more sense. It is the method where you would make a lot of great approaches and it will make it work amazingly for sure.
1375  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: May 22, 2023, 09:15:49 PM
I feel like Napoli is basically dominating the whole league as a joke now. Like they are already the title winners and still showing how good they are even after they guaranteed it, they didn't need to do that and yet they still did it, that's an amazing situation. I believe that it is definitely not a big deal, we all knew that they were the best anyway and that's how it moved on and that's what we are seeing right now but that doesn't mean that we are at a position where it can be considered acceptable for Inter though, they are at a rough place and needed to win.

All in all Inter focused on UCL finals anyway, they are going to play against one of the best teams in the world, one of the historically most dominant teams, and if Inter can win that, it is just a dream season anyway, no matter where they finish the season.
1376  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can't central bankers just buy all the bitcoin and miners? on: May 22, 2023, 09:05:31 PM
At what cost tho? I mean surely they could just buy these companies, all those big mining equipment and all that companies? The ones that print millions a day? They could spend billions and buy all of those, that's true. But at what cost? We could just build more and rival them and we could even go to another chain and just ruin their entire investment in a single day, why risk it? Like lets say it makes sense today, then we could just go to LN chain of bitcoin and then they would not make a dime.

This is why I do not think that they would ever do that, not because they can't, they can do it but there is absolutely no reason why they should and this is the thing that makes them so good, it makes them better because they know what to invest and what not to.
1377  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: May 22, 2023, 08:45:10 PM
I also would like to point something that isn't talked about a lot. What about the time difference BETWEEN the places here? I am not aware if there are any, I haven't checked where it is, but is there like time zone difference between stadiums, we are talking about 3 nations but the size is as big as Europe, even bigger than that when you consider all three of them. Just going from one state to another state takes 10+ hours sometimes, depends on where you are maybe even more.

When you consider that it means that we are talking about something that may have a timezone difference, I believe that we should be considering the situation a lot more and if there are any, that will definitely impact the way the players are playing and could consider to be troublesome.
1378  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wife discovers husband's hidden Bitcoin during divorce proceeding on: May 22, 2023, 08:18:10 PM
This is normal, I mean if you were hiding it then there was a reason, everyone is considering this like husband hid it from his loving wife, these people didn't decide to divorce each other on a single day, they weren't doing that well at all before as well probably. I believe that they were having troubled times and they weren't getting along well and he just decided to hide it even when they were married because of this reason.

Obviously when they decided to divorce each other, he kept on hiding. Anyone would have done the same thing, the exact same wife in this discussion would have done the same thing as well if she had bitcoin to hide. Why do people expect other adults to pay for their future is still beyond me honestly, it just doesn't make sense.
1379  Economy / Economics / Re: Will inflation in the world grow by 2023? on: May 22, 2023, 07:44:59 PM
I think this year will not be as high as previous years obviously and that means a lot better situation for a longer term. I know that it is not going to be low neither, just not as high as what we would be last years and we should be a lot better. I believe that we could not be really considering this as a good thing for now, because even though it is going down, that doesn't mean that we are going to end up with anything other than trouble for now neither.

The amount of money we are making hasn't changed much so even if inflation is low, which it won't be, that doesn't mean we are doing great. I thing we will be seeing some rare situation, not inflation, not recession, like a combination of both that I can't really put a name on it just yet.
1380  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: May 21, 2023, 09:45:20 PM
Why did anyone even doubted that PSG wouldn't be able to win the league is beyond me, it was obvious from the start that they would be winning it and now we all know that they will. Why wait this long to think that though, just go back and check the first days of the season even before the games, pre-season period even showed that they would win, look at the odds on those days, it was 1.40 or something if I am not wrong, and there were places with lower very commonly as well. That's basically saying PSG is guaranteed to win unless something major happens.

Yes, if Mbappe suddenly left, Messi got hurt, Neymar got hurt and all that then we would be seeing them lose if that happened, but we all knew that it would be very hard for that to happen.
