Obviously the promotions are funded by the casino's own turnover, which is mainly an income stream from the gamblers playing on their online casino website. Of course they lose some money by doing bonuses and promotion but what kind of business does not spend money on advertising? And this kind of advertising that they do is compared to other types of advertisement actually very cheap! Because they make back most of the promotion money from the gamblers they gave it to. And its featured on their own website so they can decide the rules of that promotion.

Regardless of what a multibillionaire egomaniac like Elon Musk says, I do not think it is even possible to stop AI development at this point. Also, I have lost all faith in Musk and his pump and dump manipulation schemes ever since he sold Tesla's Bitcoin with his ridiculous excuses. Why would anyone, especially the people from the cryptocurrency community want to trust in his words anymore?

It probably stems from the fact that many people do not understand it and think that AI is some kind of living being which is slowly becoming more superior to humans. Which is both not even close to true.

All casinos ask for KYC on withdrawal of large enough amounts because they are forced to ask kyc by regulational law before handing over anyone their winnings. The fact that they do this during withdrawal makes more sense because they have to individually check every persons documents and that takes manpower and time. If they did that for every account during registration it would be very hard and expensive to do. They told you this on their website in the terms and conditions.

Also, if you trust "review sites", whose main business model is to accept money in exchange for reviews, then thats your own fault. You should have done your own research instead of depending on others to do your research for you.

If the casino says your documents are fake, then they likely are. If you have a problem with that, you can deal with the casino by yourself. All legit casinos are registered and licensed.

If you are talking about some altcoin with absolutely no innovation or anything backing it and no business model behind it then its probably 100% speculative, in which case the profits you earn from it are from the people buying the coin/token. This could be seen as unethical but thats basically what memecoins are.

If you have an innovative coin with an innovative blockchain then thats a different thing.

And if you have a business model pumping profits into the coin then thats where the profits come from. And if that coin is combined with an innovative technology then thats a solid altcoin which could very well be worth investing in.

But a lot of altcoins lack innovation and just copy the original top coins.

I am one of the people who believe gambling should be for fun only.

Ironically, the people who believe they can make a steady stream of income from casinos are the ones who make the mistake of emotional gambling once they start losing money. The really smart ones who actually make a steady amount of money from casinos are the casino investors, probably.

Really? I had assumed there was some high level gambling going on in the Sumo world because it is extremely prestigious and only for a rare priviledge of a select few members of the Japanese high society. Obviously at that kind of level I thought there would be some kind of gambling. And yes, while gambling is technically considered illegal in Japan, its not really illegal. It just has the image of being illegal. They still gamble.

Its a grey zone and they find many ways and loopholes around their gambling restrictions.

But basically what I meant is we need more exotic forms of sports gambling. And I see no reason why people from other countries in which gambling is legal should not have the opportunity to gamble on things like sumo.

I must say, I used to have thoughts of selling my Bitcoin in order to buy what I have wanted for a long time but those thoughts have long since dissipated and now I feel like I would rather have the Bitcoin than trade them in for any material possession in the world.

The question of if or if not an old trading strategy can work again depends on if the strategy is outdated or not, not whether it is old.

If the strategy is outdated due to a better, more accurate strategy existing or because the strategy does not work for modern times, then obviously it is better to avoid it and go with something better. But again, in order to find that out you have to understand the fundamental workings of said strategy. Some of them are completely timeless while others have gone completely extinct since the age of the internet.

But this topic has gotten me thinking...I would love to go through some ancient trading strategies, perhaps I can find resurrect a hidden gem?

I would not say he is just making excuses. Obviously every fighter has to think about his own image and marketability, otherwise he might find himself shoved aside by bigger players and he might not be able to get into a good contract again. Its all about the money, really. Although having said that, it is indeed a smart move by him to avoid the Crawford fight for now. You should be buying Bitcoin and storing it in your "swear wallet" instead of storing perpetually value-losing fiat coins in a physical jar. If you did that, your swear wallet would be worth more than your "telling people about Bitcoin when I wasn't asked" jar, despite having put less fiat coins into it, initially...   - Just my two Satoshis

Obviously buying cheap is the way to go with any investment but I think that you do not really capture the essence of the problem here. What is cheap? Without knowing future prices, we have absolutely no frame of reference for "cheap". So we buy at we think or hope to be cheap.

Furthermore you should be careful about things like "in next three months it will double the current price". You have no possible way of knowing that. It could double or triple in the next week. And you would never be able to predict it.

It might also takes half a year or a year for it to double. Maybe longer.

Giving such predictions is setting up yourself and others for failure and emotional selling because you are sowing a seed of impossible hope in your/someone else's mind with such detailed predictions.

Football is the correct term for what you call "soccer". In fact, I doubt anyone here even recognizes that word other than Americans.

I would gladly bet on any sport as long as I get good odds and understand a minimum amount about that sport and the history of the players involved. You do not need to be a genius to research a players past history of wins/losses. Thats universal for any sport.

As far as to your question of specifically which sport which is not listed here that I would love to bet on:

Asian martial art/other fighting styles which are not that prominent in western society. Sumo, for example.  In Japan, Sumo is a big thing and gets bet on all the time.

Hoping for a 1000x unicorn investment is unrealistic and is basically the same as gambling. Hoping for any kind of return, no matter how small, just because you have done your research on the company and truly believe they have a service or product that will be profitable is a realistic and smart investing goal.

It all depends on you and how you choose to invest. Hoping to get lucky should not be part of your strategy, obviously.

Other unrealistic hopes and goals will also work against you, from a probabilistic viewpoint.

As long as you do your research without any bias, you are as realistic as you have to be in order to make smart decisions when it comes to investing.

If you were to ask me, I would say that any skill based game where you can make money is just waiting to be exploited. You cannot really exploit something which works with probabilities but if you add an algorithm for "skills" you can easily develop an automated way to always win. It would be simple code for a "human emulator".

No need to be worried about such a large centralized exchange owner. He has more than enough money that even if he were to lose in court, he would not even miss the comparably tiny amount of money he would have to pay up as a penalty. Binance can recover that loss within a short amount of time. Worst case scenario, Binance would have to delist a lot of shitcoins that nobody should be buying anyway.

I would never trust any centralized service, especially a centralized exchange anyway. CEX's are basically almost always shady business models anyway.

Rather than only connect they also add in a permission to do whatever they like and if you give them that permission, they can take any funds in your wallet. If you are a curious person who wants to try anyway, despite knowing its 99.99% definitely a scam, then at the very least use a new and empty wallet. But it would be better not to give any permissions at all, in my opinion. Nobody needs to connect to your wallet to send you crypto. All they need is to know is your public wallet address.

Anything that seems too good to be true, probably is. Just remember that the next time you or anyone else makes 200k in winnings.

Also, for future reference, us coiners do not accept an image as evidence. If you want to to show us evidence, I recommend showing us your wallet address and signing with your private key. Message signing is how us coiners prove ownership of our crypto address.

That way, everyone and anyone can verify the authenticity of your transaction.

I do not know if there is any religion which would condone gambling but as far as I know, they all are against gambling one way or another. Gambling is also punished more or less severely, depending on the person's religion. So any religious leader who gambles or condones gambling is probably not a real religious leader but rather a cultist or, more likely, a scam artist.

Obviously there needs to be more investigations into such people but in countries which are poor and corrupt, there is little to no chance of such an investigation being launched against them. Hence, they continue scamming until they scam the wrong people and then the people take justice into their own hands...

Everytime I see topics like these that ask for personal information on finances or person data, I get a bit weirded out.

I do not think that its a good idea to give away information like this. Just the other week some guy was asking about how much Bitcoin everyone has. Combine that data with the amount of wallets information OP is asking and perhaps a few more replies on some other topics and you can start connecting the dots which trace back to you.

This is dangerous, especially since there are a lot of scammers around, hoping to trick you somehow into handing over your money to them....

They may even dox/threaten you.

People need to be more self aware on these forums.
