1701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you buying the dip? on: May 19, 2022, 02:04:16 PM
Am buying as little as i can anytime i have a spear cash, there is no doubt this is the best time to load up on all the top project in the market. The market has given new investors an opportunity to enter the market with good price, lots of good project are very cheap, can't believe Sol, Near, EGLD, AAVE are very cheap compare to what they where trading at few weeks back.
Perhaps, many people have been happy upon having this bear condition. But it is important to choose the right coins to invest in as well. I don't just look at the price and may focus on the cheapest one, but what I did is consider those coins that we can assure its recovery. Putting our money into new projects and shitcoins, we are likely taking more risk, instead of acquiring profit assurance.

BTC, ETH, and some of the top 10 altcoins are good options to invest in.
1702  Economy / Economics / Re: Where to invest everything looking bearish on: May 19, 2022, 11:15:40 AM
When the market is bearish, invest with the most popular coin, or the top coins in the market.
It's easy to find them mate, just look at https://coinmarketcap.com/ and you'll see they are in the top 10.

Bitcoin should be your priority as it dictates the market movement.

Lastly, please don't invest everything.
1703  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mark Magsayo vs Rey Vargas WBC Featherweight Title (July 9) on: May 19, 2022, 11:05:05 AM
Hopefully he would do that, but it's still too early to tell, he has to convince us first and that is by winning this fight without a controversy. A KO would silent people who still have doubted his capacity, so he has to go for that.
Only in boxing fighting mode could prove from the current hard training, I think he will go the extra mile to defend his belt against his challenger Rey, I know that Magsayo has a champion mentality so I'm pretty sure he wins the match for a unanimous victory or even knockout, because his fans really want him to look spectacular in a prestigious boxing match.
Well, if he could find a space to pull a knockout victory then he should do it because as I said, that alone will be the best way to silent the people who doubts his capacity especially now that he needed some wins to continue in the industry and have much more great fight with good pay.

Even if it's a unanimous or split decision would be fine, the thing is he should be hailed as victorious here and before he can have that, he should go for a mile to make sure his win.

We always wanted to see a great fight that will end up in a knock out and hopefully it will be Magsayo who will accomplished it here.

Rey Vargas is a good fighter and others think that he will be the favorite. So imagine if an underdog Magsayo won by a spectacular one punch knock out. Fight fans for sure will remember his name and would gain stature as the premier fighter in this division.

When we expect a knockout, then most likely Magsayo will win because that's his specialty as a boxer. However, if the fight will go to distant, there's a possibility that Magsayo will lose because of his boxing style which is not so accurate, he would easily get tired in the end.
1704  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: May 19, 2022, 10:08:39 AM
Tomorrow's game will be between GSW and Mavs. Would it have the same home court win or Mavs will snatch game one and take

the early series advantage?
This remains to be seen though, but I like the Warriors to win the series, they are now the favorites so I'll go with the line set by the bookies.
Mavericks snatching a win on the GSW's homecourt is unlikely to happen especially on Game 1 where most of the Warriors roster especially the Splash brothers are really used in their homecourt. But yes, this is just a speculation and only time will reveal which one of them will have a lead on the series.

You are right, it was a dominant win by the Warriors, they beat the Mavericks by 25 points, and it does not look good considering Mavericks were coming from a huge victory in the game 7 against the Suns. In game 2, let's see if they will make the right adjustment, and I hope Luka is not injured as he looks bothered on his shoulder.
1705  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Eastern Conference Finals (Heat vs Bucks/Celtics) on: May 19, 2022, 09:51:21 AM
Latest update.

https://www.nbcsports.com/boston/celtics/celtics-injury-updates-marcus-smart-probable-game-2-al-horford-doubtful

Marcus smart is probably.
Al Horford Doubtful.

Well, Horford is not ruled out yet, so let's hope that he will play in game 2 as that's a very important game for the Celtics.
1706  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Few Steps To Avoid Losses In Trading. on: May 18, 2022, 02:09:19 PM
I think using Future trading is not without risk so it's better to avoid Future trading..maybe sometime you make big profit but one blow like Luna can make you Zero.
Spot trading is better choice and if any body have knowledge of charts then day trading is useful and profitable. It's better to use Binance,Coinbase,Ftx,Kucoin and Gate exchange for real time price and high volume of trading.
Don't invest all in one coin , Diversify your investment on top coins.
future trades only suitable for expert traders that experienced in spot trading. alot beginer start their future trades meanwhile didnt understand how analize market movement and risk management. only in single transaction future trade could liquidate our order while market move with high volatility. spot investment better due its risk lower than future trade and good for long term purpose.
That is definitely for them (experts) but we can try as well if we want, however, losing is somewhat we expect more rather than profit. Well, that is actually an experience of being a trader as even in spot trading, newbies could still face it. There is no such safety assurance in trading, we can avoid losses but not it comes to a case that we never lose anymore. We just look for a big chance and it was advisable to start spot trading before making a step to a higher risk trading system which is Future trading.
1707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is it possible UST recovered ? on: May 18, 2022, 12:45:56 PM

It turns out it's just a scam. Perhaps even the developers knew that this could happen, or were even involved in the incident themselves. In any case, a lot of people have suffered huge losses and will never be able to get back what they have lost. It is now very easy to distribute new tokens to the victims and ask for forgiveness. This incident showed that cryptocurrency is not insured and in a bad case you can lose everything and no one will compensate you.

Well, I couldn't just draw a conclusion that UDT won't recover anymore but yeah, because of the losing sentiment that many people had experienced, most likely these stablecoins will gain no support and trust. People had lost confidence in them, in fact, Luna is a big example and has a strong conviction that these stablecoins had nothing to do with us investors and users, they just tricked us in front.

That even before, I have no trust in them, I couldn't even get profit from them anyway. So I guess everyone had opened their eyes and accept the truth that these stablecoins, this USDT had only a slim chance to survive.
1708  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: May 18, 2022, 12:03:21 PM
Considering laying down a few Satoshis on the Miami Heat vs Boston Celtics game. I kind of expect this to be a pretty hard fought series and I feel like these teams are pretty evenly matched. I kind of like the Miami Heat at -4.5 points. Since the teams in my opinion seem pretty evenly matched I think the edge goes to the home team. But I would not be surprised to see this go either way.

What a good start by the Celtics though, they lead at the half now. But it's now over, I think the Miami Heat can overcome the Celtics because it is just a 8 point lead.

So I will probably go with the ML live beating for the Heat at 2.40.
They will going to push the tempo in the second half and not allow the Celtics to get 2nd chance points.

Good bet on the Heat the second half. Yeah, it was a slow start for them as the pick and roll was working for the Celtics early with Williams scoring like 10-12 points inside.

But when 3rd quarter comes, it was a total different Heat, Butler, shutdown Tatum, on the other hand, Tatum can't guard Butler one on one. Steals, block shots and 3 point shot was their main weapon in the 3rd to make the huge comeback and then taking the lead.

Great catch during the live game, the odd is sweet and Miami didn't disappoint every bettor who believe that they can turn things

to their favor, whatever coach Spo told them it's very effective, they play both defense and offense the way it should be. This win gives

them the advantage, but they still need to win 3 more to advance to the NBA finals.
That's too far from celebrating that the Heat will win, just like the Bucks series, Celtics loss game 1 but they were still able to win in the series.
It's just that Celtics are undermanned in game 1, but as soon as Smart and Horford will be back, things will get better for them.

Tomorrow's game will be between GSW and Mavs. Would it have the same home court win or Mavs will snatch game one and take

the early series advantage?

This remains to be seen though, but I like the Warriors to win the series, they are now the favorites so I'll go with the line set by the bookies.
1709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Eastern Conference Finals (Heat vs Bucks/Celtics) on: May 18, 2022, 11:17:48 AM
Game 1 tomorrow.

Heat vs Celtics, heat is -2 at home.
As reported, Marcus Smart is questionable in game 1, but I still think Celtics will have a good fight in game 1, they have won games without Marcus smart, so it's not a big loss.

https://www.slamonline.com/nba/celtics-announce-marcus-smart-is-questionable-for-game-1-against-heat/

Horford did not win as well, actually, Celtics had a good start until they loss their defense in the 2nd half, particularly in the 3rd quarter. It was a good game though because Celtics aren't giving up, so I believe this series will be long, probably game 7.
1710  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: May 17, 2022, 03:19:40 PM
PJ Tucker, Danny Green, McGee are few of those lucky players,  Grin.

So let's see if Tucker can make it back to back with different teams, this will be a good accomplishment, but they have to go first with Celtics and then on the other brackets winner. I will go with the under on this first game, 203.5 at 1.93.

It would not be so easy for them like in the 2nd round because Celtics are a complete different team that they beat before. In fact, Celtics now are the favorite to win the series, so I wouldn't be surprise if they'll steal game 1 in this series.

Heat has to win the first 2 games if they want to have a good chance of winning the series. Heat surely have a plan against Tatum, they'll find a way to slow him down but at the same time, I'm worried about Butler because it seemed like no one could defend him from the Celtics roster.

They have to, but they have to understand that Celtics are the favorite to win this series for a reason. Everyone has to show up, not only Butler because in the 2nd round, I see some players who are not really consistent except Butler. We don't want to see the Heat like the Bucks team.

Indeed! Heat needs everyone to work together. Butler alone is just like Giannis back at Milwaukee. He might exhaust himself competing

but if they will play alongside together and show their home dominance, the chance of winning the first two games at home is possible.

on the other side, Boston again will try hoping that this time fate will give them the chance to appear in the NBA finals, tough job

but we never know who's going to represent the East side.

Expect a game 7 on this series, it's tough to predict the winner because both teams are good, but I'm with the favorite to win the series which is the Celtics. i like them because they are moving the ball very well, and everyone can shoot 3s, even Horford who will be their center.
1711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: May 17, 2022, 02:45:28 PM

And that's why Donaire really doesn't want the fight to last 12 rounds because he for sure he will gas out. And in his previous 2 fights, it didn't last long so we think that Donaire is really back in his old form. But also during his prime, he has some close 12 round wins. Not sure if you guys watch him fight Cesar Juarez because that's one of a fight for Donaire and he did survived the onslaught of the Mexican boxer. But still his gas think will be in question here.

He knows his limitation, he is not getting any younger, and although he still has the power his stamina is not as good as when he was still younger. Inoue is on his prime, it's a tough opponent by Donaire, it's just good that he won his last fight so he will be more confident facing his fellow champ in this division.
1712  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Happy to be here. on: May 17, 2022, 01:36:42 PM
Hello everyone, I'm new here but not to crypto, and I must say that I'm totally excited to find a forum dedicated to bitcoin and crypto generally.  Before signing up here, I was skeptical about the credibility of this website, reason being that I have come across some other websites as well that have bitcoin in their names like "bitcointalk", but all they do is advice you to invest with them.

So far in my very short time here, I have opened a lot of pages here and as far as I can see, this website is unlike any I have come across having bitcoin or crypto in their names.

I hope my time here will yield life changing results, what do I need to know?
Well, Welcome on board. Perhaps you could learn a lot from here if you keep your mind open. Your time here can't be wasted, as the more you spend time roaming around, participating in the discussion, the more you enjoy the forum. Bitcointalk forum is not just all about earning money, we often discuss strategies about those things but on the other side, the forum had developed our minds to accept the truth that cryptocurrency has something big to contribute in the future that we all can be benefit from this.
1713  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin price is falling? on: May 17, 2022, 01:00:30 PM
I have been thinking of the possible reasons of the bitcoin falling down. Since I am not an expert on the Currency I cannot predict or give any reason. That is why I want to know the reasons. Please if anyone can tell me I will appreciate. Thanks.

BTC is just following a historical pattern. We have seen that after a bull run, the BTC market stays in bearish mode till the next halving, and that is what is happening here. This is the time for the whale to accumulate more BTC from the market so that they can keep most of the BTC out of circulation that was released by miners. This is the obvious nature of the BTC market, and it's almost predictable now.
it is definitely not a question of why the market is falling in the first place, we are already aware that this situation may come at any time, most especially after Bullrun. We are already done with the bullish view of the market and now it was the time to face the other side of the market (dark side). Some may be worried about their losses but some are just happy that they have the chance to invest in the potential coins that are at a cheap price.
1714  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Altcoin is good to invest in right into? on: May 16, 2022, 11:37:53 AM
ETH, SOL, BNB, ADA...
They are among the top 10 altcoins and probably the most recommended altcoin to invest in. I don't recommend new projects nor to look at the bottom and I don't consider the price really matter that we need to invest in those coins that are too cheap instead, we have to look for the potential. It was indeed the price of these coins are a little bit high but the risk is less compared to the others.
1715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mark Magsayo vs Rey Vargas WBC Featherweight Title (July 9) on: May 13, 2022, 09:10:03 PM
There are really questions but a win is a win and he did his best. Whether Magsayo struggles or not in that fight, if he's ended up as the winner, that's the most important thing. We just not realized it but he was recognized in that fight.

I agree that a win is a win, but he will have to come up with big wins against name fighters to be in the discussion as the best featherweight because this division is stack up.

Magsayo wins but there are still some doubts from the fans if he would be able to win convincingly in this fight. We know that he won because he was fighting a champion with an injury, and was only fighting with one hand. For him to finally gain some big respect, beating Vargas is a must and should be not in a controversial manner. Anyway, good luck to him.
1716  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will LUNA be recovered ever? on: May 13, 2022, 08:54:34 PM
LUNA went to ZERO, causing inflation. What is going to happen next? Is there any chance it will rise again in the near future?
The future is unclear now for LUNA considering its current trend, many investors won’t come again on this project or we can say that LUNA is already a dead project because of this. Will you still trust a project that from a peak price after 3 days it drops almost 99% which makes a huge panic in the market. LUNA was a good one but right now its not so better to be careful if you are still planning to buy it.
The price is almost worthless, how can this recover again?
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/terra-luna/

I doubt it will recover again, this is just one of the biggest bad news this year, and because of this, we are now back in the bear season again.
Prepare for another huge news, we shouldn't be surprise because we are in crypto, anything is possible here, both bad and good news.
1717  Economy / Speculation / Re: $28,000 Bitcoin price. How explain falling price to worried newbies ? on: May 13, 2022, 02:19:47 PM
Your friend has to understand that crypto and FOREX are different, they behave in a different ways, and he has to focus if he wants to be profitable. yes, he bought bitcoin at that price, but he doesn't lose his money if he would not panic and sell at the current price, patience is the key and he has to hold because this dump is just temporary.
1718  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: PH banned online cockfighting - Worst gambling-related cases recorded! on: May 13, 2022, 02:00:52 PM

100% I am so fucking sick of people gambling on animals of any kind whether it’s dog racing or horse racing but especially even more sickening and cruel types such a cock fighting and dog fighting. What in the world is wrong with your government?! Some sort of savages, Jesus Christ. The whole world has a major issue when it comes to gambling on animal sports but especially the eastern world , and in particular Asia. Asia seems to be a century behind the rest of the world in terms of what is ethical and what’s not. I would love to give anyone who supports this bullshit a punch right fucking face. This angers me to no end!!!!
i agree with the dog fighting because its so cruel, but the concern when it comes cock fighting? well it's very common here in Philippines actually and very popular since we don't have any animal games except this one.

And the reason why our president banned it because of some cases that most of the owners suddenly disappeared and there's still no information on them until now and the rumours is they're are dead because of that game.

I don't think so as they earn too much money and they can survive some time until the crack down by the government is over and we may see them coming back.
Also, i am sure the cock fighting will still continue hiddenly, even if the government ban it.

Like other type of illegal game, even if the government already banned it, there are still people who are willing to violate the law for their satisfaction, and of course they need to understand the risk.

Quote
Are you sure the owners of the cock fighting game are dead ?
It's not the owner who are dead or missing because the owner is Atong Ang, one of the richest in PH (probably) and he is still breathing.
1719  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk won't save Doge or Bitcoin this time on: May 13, 2022, 11:18:44 AM
We are back to the 90s, the Fed raised the rates by 0.50% - nothing is going to stop the trend of further rate hikes - which in turn will keep on taking the air out of the balloon so called Crypto.

We may remember the past and how it happen but never I think were turning like that again.
We can't deny the fact that although there are so many good things happening around at this present time, there are still worse scenarios that are accompanied with.

We could say that Elon Musk is a very rich person and really has an influence on the market but this was not enough to move Dogecoin and even Bitcoin away from the current situation. Certainly, it dumps for many reasons and Elon Musk is out of it.
1720  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do Anyone Think Luna Will Recover? on: May 13, 2022, 10:46:33 AM
That was hard, unfortunately. This is what we called risk in investing in a project that doesn't have a backup plan, unlike Shiba Inu. To assess how this situation went on, we can't decline such a doubtful view of this project and less likely it will recover after Binance was giving up on it. We neither expect this to happen, however, the choice of luna for investment seems not really at its best. I presume that many are suffering losses to this unexpected abrupt decline of Terra Luna but we don't have to think this will be the end of this project, maybe we have to hold it for awhile, let us see what will happen during the next halving.
