1862  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I be worried? on: January 24, 2023, 07:10:35 PM
Once upon a time I used to be into everything that has everything to do with Artificial Intelligence and I was happy that some blockchain projects are into A.I but they never seem to get better adoption, A.I is something g the world wants but it just seem too early, now I've give up on crypto / blockchain A.I projects but now

There is now a possible hype for AI-related projects. Previously, this technology did not have such a use along with blockchain because there were few applications, but now that the industry has greatly expanded in the number of different products, AI projects may start to be in demand.

What about Metaverse? Will this use case faces the same fate? I am worried that we are too haste into the future like we won't be needing this until some several years later, is this something to be worried about?

All of this is still at a very early stage of adoption. Objectively, it will take a long time for these technologies to reach their full potential and materialize. It is too early to talk about their success or to bury them.
1863  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Quant - top 10 next bull run? on: January 24, 2023, 07:00:11 PM
Will be minimum top 15 next bull run I feel - less supply than Bitcoin is massive and will bring a lot of demand.

Why are you focusing around this proposition? It's less than bitcoin and then what? This is not an indicator at all. The question of demand is extremely controversial and it is unknown whether it will be at the right level to allow this coin to rise so high in the rankings.

Solana shot up last bull run and I feel Quant will do something similar - maybe not $80b market cap but at least $50b.

Solana has had rabid support from foundations, as well as huge demand for the blockchain space. So you shouldn't compare Solana and Quant. They are completely different classes of products.
1864  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: $TRACE to $1? on: January 24, 2023, 06:56:36 PM
$TRACE recently pulled a 30x and is now has found support at 20x.

Could it reache $1 this year?

No, definitely not this year. Even if this coin suddenly starts to grow, the catalyst for powerful growth can only be a new global bullrun. Until that happens, this coin will not reach its new ATH. Also, we should not rule out the possibility that this coin will never reach its ATH. Such cases are not uncommon even among the largest altcoins, so it will depend on the funds whether they want to continue supporting this coin or whether they have already fixed the profit and now they are not interested in this project.
1865  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you guys think about web3, metaverse? on: January 24, 2023, 06:22:45 PM
Most coins are bubbles, as they are created on a hype wave in order to make a quick buck on a popular topic. In 2021, many investors invested in anything that contained the word "metaverse" and cunning developers took advantage of it. Not all coins are like that, there are so called blue chips that are constantly developing and have a large community. So don't invest in metaverse projects that don't have a good roadmap and funding rounds.
1866  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Quant - top 10 next bull run? on: January 24, 2023, 05:51:35 PM
I don't think supply should have any effect on the ranking of cryptocurrencies. The most important thing is supply and demand, as well as the demand for the blockchain space. The top 10 is too competitive, with either native blockchain tokens or stablecoins concentrated there. It is unlikely that this token will be in that league in the near future, but even without the top 10 this token could be a good investment. DYOR.
1867  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anybody else confused by the dead-coins pump ? on: January 24, 2023, 05:41:23 PM
If functionality and technology were the most decisive thing in the industry, we would have seen completely different coins in 1st,2nd,3rd place a long time ago. Bitcoin is extremely slow, with expensive transactions and limited block size. Ethereum is very expensive in terms of fees. Still, this does not prevent these projects from being at the top, although many projects that can demonstrate a more technological approach, cheap commissions, fast transactions, are at the bottom.

You should never make a decision to invest in a project based solely on the project's outstanding technical features. It may turn out that everyone just doesn't care about the technology.
It is definitely not just about the tech. There are a lot of other things that we need to consider when we are investing and just the pure performance of it is not the main thing people look at.

First of all, decentralization and trust are the most important ones right now, just to give an example; bitcoin is unlike any other when it comes to "ownership", all those SOL and AVAX and Matic etc etc all those coins have a team at the top and that team could make it great or make it crash, bitcoin doesn't have anyone like that. Which is why I believe that we shouldn't invest into anything like that, ETH is quite similar, there is a foundation but not owner like team at least.

All altcoins have developers and there are early investors. With these factors in place, it is already difficult to call such projects decentralized, but I do not support the opinion that it is not worth investing. It is worth investing, but it is important to determine the timing of investment. I agree that you should not invest in various altcoins for many years ahead, only bitcoin is suitable for that, everything else can turn into a scam at any time.
1868  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana takes back top 10 position on: January 24, 2023, 12:35:23 PM
The key to SOL's future will be getting more and more projects. They are on the right track by attracting projects that could attract investors. They do not need to get investors directly to SOL, that's what the newbie tokens and such do, that's not the way SOL will go up.

However, if they could end up with getting huge projects based on SOL's network, that could be a lot better and it would definitely give them an edge over everyone else. That's what ETH and BNB did and they are at the top, and that is exactly what SOL need to do in order to make a noise. They do it, but not at enough levels and should be doing something higher for sure.

What sense would it make to attract more projects into the Solana network, if the same is literally broken? Developers must first focus on fixing the network's inherent issues, before talking about attracting the masses. They don't seem to care about putting Solana back in order, especially when there's a lot of money to be made. SOL is purely driven by hype, so I'd suggest you stay away from it if you want to prevent losses in the long run.

Whales may be keeping SOL among the top 10 ranks in market cap, but that may not last for long because of the reasons mentioned earlier. Who knows if Solana ultimately becomes history? Just my thoughts Grin

Although Solana is often referred to as a project that is pumped up by market makers from large funds, at the same time, a large number of NFT projects are unfolding on this network. Demand for the blockchain space was high even during the bearish trend. Despite its return to the top 10, Solana will have a long time of trouble with its blockchain, which is still in beta stage.
1869  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Future of NFT on: January 24, 2023, 12:24:05 PM
What do you guys think about the future of nft?
Many people think that nft is useless digital trash, but I have a different idea from them.
This is because many famous companies and platforms around the world employ blockchain developers and create related nfts in various fields such as art and sports.
I think it's now Nft's turn, just as Bitcoin has been treated as digital waste and its price has been upward.
Tell me what you think

Until NFTs start applying utilitarian properties, NFTs have no good future. Right now NFTs are just a speculative tool. It is a very risky asset for speculation, and very few NFTs are developing utilitarian properties. As soon as this technology applies these properties on a larger scale, it will live, but until then it will enjoy the notoriety of shitcoins, which depreciate very quickly.
1870  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to profit from altcoins collapses? on: January 23, 2023, 08:31:18 PM
you have to do research first to invest in altcoins, of course, look for old altcoins that have lasted until now, not look for altcoins that are only 1 or 2 years old, chances are they can crash without recovering, then if you have done your research, buy all altcoins when the market crashes and save it for the next few years at least till 2025 as long term investment and 4 year cycle  Wink

This is an extremely controversial statement. So you are suggesting to look for altcoins that have already grown a long time ago and can bring only a few hundred percent and refuse from projects that have not yet grown and can carry a potential 1000%? Don't forget, projects like Polygon or TrustWallet Token also used to be young and worth very little, and then they brought their early investors big profits. In general, you should not ignore young projects.
1871  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tell me about the coin portfolio. on: January 23, 2023, 07:59:46 PM
Tell me about your coin portfolio weight.
Do you mainly invest assets in Bitcoin and Ethereum?
Or do you usually invest your assets in Altcoin?
I usually invest 70-80% of my assets in Ethereum.

If the deposit is small, then investing the bulk of the portfolio in heavy assets that are expensive and have already given thousands of percent is too questionable. In my opinion, the portfolio is better to assemble among a variety of projects, with an optimal distribution, so that there is diversification in case of various unforeseen situations. Creating a portfolio that will consist of 2-3 projects is, in my opinion, too inefficient.
1872  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The truth about Terra Luna Classic on: January 23, 2023, 07:27:27 PM
Hello,
Is Terra Luna Classic recovering? Why does TrustWallet pay 15% profit to staking it?
Any idea welcomed.

Thank you.

Because they want to attract more liquidity for various operations, be it arbitrage or swaps. Do not believe the great interest, in most cases this will not end well. Luna Classic is unlikely to ever recover, the project holds on only due to speculation and various initiatives promising holders a large percentage.
1873  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you stacking up on? on: January 23, 2023, 07:24:16 PM
I currently stake a lot of coins, mostly top50 on coinmarketcap. I believe that despite recent increases, crypto winter will extend into 2023 and this is a good time to accumulate cryptocurrency in anticipation of another bull run. I believe that diversifying funds into different cryptocurrencies is a reasonable solution, because I remember that during the previous bull run, some projects recorded increases of x10 and more, but just as many, especially older ones, did not even come close to their ATH. I think it will be the same next time as well.

Many investors for some reason consider the top 50 or top 100 projects, on which you can't earn much. So to speak, they use conservative investing. But there is bitcoin for conservative investing. If I want to get 300-600% profit, then I'll go and buy bitcoin, because it's reliable and won't turn into a scam. If I want 1000-10000%, I go invest in altcoin, but definitely not the top 50 because those are heavy projects that have grown long ago. You have to look for Gems between top-200 and top-800, that's where the most interesting options for altcoin investing are, especially those that have successfully survived the cryptozyma. You will never find big profits with a small deposit in the top 50.
1874  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Good the bad and the ugly side of airdrops on: January 23, 2023, 06:46:35 PM
Airdrop is just a kind of gambe. If we're lucky, we'll enjoy good profit out of it. If not, the received airdrops will be sitting idle in the wallet and never gets listed anywhere. In some cases we never receive the rewards. It was during the year 2017-18 where more users turned themselves rich through airdrops. Nowadays the airdrop is being much limited as well as made to be very available for limited number of participants. In some case selected members are availed with rewards. So, expecting big out of airdrops could end-up with disappointment.

Any activity focused on possible free tokens is a kind of roulette. After all, you never know for sure which node, testnet, airdrop, will yield a profit and which will not. Just like you can never guess which altcoin will give 10 000x profit and which will not. There is no universal formula, though I'm still happy about questions like "tell me a gem that will grow 100 times" Cheesy
1875  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: VLX COINPAYMENTS on: January 23, 2023, 06:16:47 PM
Are you referring to this VLX https://coinmarketcap.com/ru/currencies/velas/? If yes, you can exchange it many places, for example https://coinmarketcap.com/ru/currencies/velas/markets/. KuCoin, for example, has no KYC and you can freely deposit and withdraw your money to any wallet there. Uniswap also has support for this coin, but I don't know how liquid it is.
1876  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts about Prosper(PROS) altcoin? on: January 23, 2023, 05:44:38 PM
Perhaps there is potential for growth, given that the project is presented on many exchanges, which means there are no problems with liquidity. It is unknown whether it can make a new ATH in the future, but it has a good opportunity to grow from the current values several times, especially now the price is at its lowest values. Not investment advice, just my thoughts, as always, DYOR.
1877  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Shocks the World on: January 23, 2023, 05:42:06 PM
Ethereum Shocks the World: Half a Million Validators and Rising, Is Ethereum the Next Crypto King Or BTC?

tell me if it's a stupid question

As if Ethereum did not have to shock the world with its dramatically increased network censorship, growing centralization, and high commissions that have not gone anywhere. The community had high hopes for a change in consensus, but so far it has only gotten worse, at least in terms of decentralization. It could be that this whole PoS transition idea will turn out to be a big disappointment for investors and the community, and then Ethereum will definitely shock the world.

So you're saying you didn't write this post?

Reportedly Ivan Fresneda, Real Valladolid wonderkid has started to enter the list of names of players targeted by Arsenal. This player is only 18 years old and starting to gain the trust to play in Real Valladolid's main squad, since then he has been able to attract interest from several clubs including Arsenal. Not only Arsenal but even Liverpool had already taken an interest in this young player. Arsenal need a stock of right-backs to back up their main players. And their effort I think is good because it prioritizes young players, it's good because young players like this can be a future asset for a club.
He is too young for having a nice spot on a professional team like that. However, he maybe a good investment for a future purpose. 18 year old is very young compare to other players. I just hope that if he manages to be transfered to arsenal, he will not sit on the bench for the entire season.

1880  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where institution store there money to pump whole crypto market more than 5% on: January 22, 2023, 03:26:36 PM
What makes you think that the capitalization of the crypto market, which is shown on various monitoring sites, reflects the real infusion of money into the industry? I'm convinced that the amounts are much smaller, and the rest is just inflated volumes. The real money that rotates in the crypto industry is much smaller than the billion of total capitalization that is currently listed on cryptocurrency monitoring sites. If you look at the statistics of cash infusions by major investors every week, the amounts there are always no more than a few tens of millions of dollars.
