1861  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Saved Me. on: March 29, 2022, 12:21:08 PM
Hope i will able to make a good place for my future .
You can for as long as you have the trust and confidence in what you are doing now. Bitcoin is really profitable, however, many had also lost their hopes because of their mistakes. Thus, if you think investing is a good opportunity to earn money, then you'd rather have to take it seriously and act wisely. This somehow gives you a light for a better future that is why you have to protect and continue to learn.

Lastly, forget about gambling and never comeback, this never give you fortune, otherwise.
1862  Economy / Economics / Re: Regulation seem like the only option left on: March 28, 2022, 01:13:21 PM
Regulation tends to kill innovation, therefore it's not good at all. Increasing regulation kills also decentralization and privacy. Cryto community somewhat self regulated early years, of course there's no way back to it... but towards tightening laws, which leads ultimately as tight regulations as with banks. That is absolutely bad thing. It puts power on the few hands of the few bureaucrats, and leaves no room for small actors or individuals to enter the ecosystem with innovative solutions nor copy & paste tokens.
We actually look it good being unregulated and controlled by the government but it was so sad that some opportunist people like scammers take advantage of this as they can just play the market freely without worrying they got caught. Though I wasn't in favor of the government making a step with this and promoting regulation, however, I think this will give help stop the scam activities and lower the chances to get scammed.
This is just not meant for innovation control, this will help to improve the image of crypto instead which is somehow ruined by these scammers.
1863  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr vs. Yordenis Ugas 3-Belt Welterweight Unification Match on: March 25, 2022, 09:05:08 PM

The adjustment from Ugas will be the exciting thing that may happen here, if he can take those solid punches and throw also a good heavy counter to bring Spence down..

That's what I like to see from him, however, I think the chance is very low because his counter punch is not to damage the opponent but for him to only score and win the fight. If his counter is solid, he could have knock-out Pacman in his last fight when the legend could not even move like his usual.
1864  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this true? on: March 25, 2022, 02:03:46 PM
Altcoins that are released in the bear market have a high chance of bringing good returns than those that have already surged high in a bull market, this is what a friend told me this morning, do you think this is true? He used Vulcan forged as an example

Yes, that's true because most of the altcoins released in the bear season become undervalued, I'm talking about the legit coins, not the hype ones that have no potential in the future. If you see some coins that you think has a great potential, better buy it during the bear season as they say, bear season is the right opportunity to buy and bull season is the right opportunity to sell.
1865  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russian head of the committee on Energy about selling oil and gas in Bitcoin on: March 25, 2022, 01:40:39 PM
This would benefit them because their fiat (Ruble ) has dropped in value.

With Bitcoin, they can still sell their oil at a competitive price, and that is also to prevent the economic sanctions implemented unto them from the countries that condemn their actions. As they make this smart move, this would also give a very big and positive impact to the crypto market.
1866  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Comparing the previous bear run of Market on: March 25, 2022, 12:59:47 PM
I wouldn't compare the two because there's at least as many differences as similarities.
You have different volumes, cycle time, percentage gain, number of tops with the second ATH being only a few percent higher than the last which never happened before. Then you have a drop that wasn't really steep actually it was the same drop as we had in 2021 after the first ATH. This is also the first time that bitcoin gained a high, corrected and went to a new high followed with almost the same correction. I feel like we are still in a bull market just a corrective phase of it.
The market changes a lot after the last ATH and it was growing more. So if we compare the past in today's situation, it certainly has a huge difference and fewer similarities.
* trading volume - that absolutely improving and this because many had known already about trading.
* the number of traders are growing pushing the price move high, not going down.
* majority had able to control themselves and even hold during the dip. A change in minds that we mostly notice this time, we never see panic selling like what we saw in the past.

Corrections can be happening but not similar to the past where the price badly turn difficult and hard down.
1867  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt market today on: March 25, 2022, 12:36:27 PM
The altcoin market looks even better today than in recent days. Hopefully this is the beginning of a reversal and we will see a bull run. Bitcoin is also showing positive momentum coming out of the accumulation zone. If it continues to grow at a slow pace, then altcoins will show good growth. So far the dominance chart looks promising for altcoins.
We just hope that the momentum will be kept for a while. Looking at the market sentiment this time, people are started to accumulate bringing the price of Bitcoin high which also affects the altcoins side. However, even we see a slow pace of recovery but still, we never expect the market will become bullish. But at least, we have this uplift situation that encourages people not to panic and not even to think about selling, otherwise, they just hold and wait for the ATH.
1868  Economy / Exchanges / Crypto ads targeted NBA? on: March 25, 2022, 03:15:32 AM
I was watching some NBA highlights and in this video, I saw the "FTX" in the background and I was happy so I shared it here.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zF-L2_obmBo

Out of curiosity, do you guys have an idea of what crypto projects are using NBA for advertising?
I know this entails big money, so projects who can afford to advertise in NBA are mostly a real deal project for sure.
1869  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 25, 2022, 02:20:56 AM
Now the wait for Ben Simmons to join them on the court.

As far as I know, Simmons still can't do anything on the court due to injury. So we shouldn't hope for his return because there are only 9 games left before the end of the regular season. By the way, the funny thing is that if the Nets finish the regular season in their current position in the standings and win the first game in the play-in tournament, they will play against the 76ers in the first round of the playoffs.

Simmons can play already but probably he is still under training with the team, they won't just inset him if he is not yet ready. However, since the playoffs are coming and they want to be an improve team, for sure Simmons will have his minutes earn in his new team now.

Durant and Irving can handle the current situation, Simmons just have to rest and get ready when he is called.

On the contrary, I think he should play already if he can, specially prior to the playoffs, it will be difficult for him to re-adjust in the playoff if he or the team chooses to play him that time. Just play 10 minutes, and get a feel of the new team, for sure the instincts will come to play hard just like he is with the Sixers.
I don't think it's his discretion that will be follow whether he will play or not, he is already under the contract of the Nets and I think he is obligated to play whenever the team tells him to play. My speculation is, he is still not ready, probably both physically and mentally, but as per report, we can expect him to play this month, and if that would not happen, then expect by the following month.

Durant and Irving have lost their game against the Grizzlies with Morant, so definitely Simmons is needed to help.

That was a bad game for them, so they need to win their next game, if they have Simmons the better but if not, they have to maximize what they have currently.

1871  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING]: RYAN GARCIA vs EMMANUEL TAGOE - April 9 on: March 24, 2022, 09:50:08 PM
In interview he has talk about a possible Loma fight (this will be good), and he still wants to fight Teo Lopez at 140 lbs. But if he is upset in this fight then it might take sometime for him to recover again. So its going to be 50/50.

I'd rather see Ryan Garcia fighting Teo Lopez so he could teach this guy a lesson.

Loma is just too focused for him, I'd say it's a 50/50 fight but if he will fight Teo ( if Teo agrees) and beat him, that would be 2 straight losses for Teo, and for sure Teo will not make an excuse again. However, that will only happen if Garcia will beat Tagoe first which is definitely not hard to do for him.
1872  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata - Reschedule on: March 24, 2022, 09:32:32 PM
But on the other hand Murata is also not an ordinary boxer and he definitely wants to make something that people who see him definitely don't want to forget. even though he is the favorite but on the other hand this match will not be easy for GGG.

I agree on that, he is not just an ordinary fighter because he is also a champion, it's just that GGG is more popular as a boxer but of course, Murata has a chance of winning the fight. The popularity of GGG makes him the favorite to win the fight, and if we look at the betting odds, Murata here is a heavy underdog which IMO a good chance for the backers to take advantage of the odds if they'll like to put a bet on this fight.

Boxing Odds: Gennady Golovkin -650 favorite, Ryota Murata +410 underdog.

1873  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are these Altcoins worth investing? on: March 24, 2022, 12:46:36 PM
Tron (TRX) is the only coin that I see has the potential while the rest are classified as shitcoins for me (might be the same in the others as well).
Tron has the existing door market records that we can't just set aside which is a thing that we consider upon choosing for investment. I really don't know the others (listed by OP), I'm not going to assume but I have no feeling about these coins.
1874  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Getting more skills in trading on: March 24, 2022, 06:31:32 AM
As you continue to move forward, it's impossible that you won't learn unless you are not really interested in what you are doing. Newbies don't have to literally learn all the notes they will encounter but learning the basics should do. During their progress, other things will be automatically learned on the way.
Experience is the best teacher. The more we do the actual trading, the more chance we become knowledgeable and really improve our skills and mental development ( that it talks about decision-making)

Quote
Like in any other activity we do, as long as we are serious to learn something, we will get used to doing it.

We need to spend time and focus on how to learn trades. No shortcuts.
And I believe this thing...
Everything should be in the process. Learning the basics, Doing actual trading, learning from mistakes, improving skills, and soon...until we reach our goal.
1875  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 23, 2022, 04:16:25 PM

I am betting for them but with +6.5 today against the Miami Heat. I still believe they may end this in a close game but a little doubt to win it.
Over 212.5.

Good luck mate, you are betting on a desperate team, they will find a way to win here and if they could compete with the energy of the Miami Heat, they might win or at least cover the spread if they lose.

Miami lose to 76ers in their previous game, they might bounce back with a win here, but either way, good luck to you.

My pick is Brooklyn winning against Memphis.
It's a road game so I expect Kyrie to be available.
1876  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: March 23, 2022, 03:51:35 PM

And this is the thing that Casimero should be grateful for because of the chance that Probellum gave to him instead of easily stripping off the belt to him....
Correction, it's not Probellum who decided not to strip him the belt, it's the WBO.
you can read the whole story here : https://www.ringtv.com/632479-john-riel-casimero-remains-wbo-titleholder-must-face-mandatory-paul-butler/
Quote
John Riel Casimero will get to hold on to the WBO bantamweight title through the holidays.

In a five-page decision, the Puerto Rico-based sanctioning body ruled Thursday that Casimero will not be stripped of his belt after failing to show up for the weigh-in for his mandatory challenge against Paul Butler, which was scheduled for December 11 in Dubai.

Casimero (31-4, 21 knockouts) of Ormoc City, Leyte, Philippines had been hospitalized on December 9, the day before the weigh-in, due to gastritis, with symptoms including vomiting, stomach pain and dehydration.

Casimero’s team, represented by his attorney Steve Pacitti, provided medical documents corroborating their version of events, leading the WBO to grant their request that Casimero not be stripped of the belt he won with a third round knockout of Zolani Tete in November of 2019.

Should newbies wait or buy coins right now?
That certainly depends on them. But I suggest newbies have to invest right now if ever they want while the prices are still low. I'm not saying we are in the bearish market nor we are on the bullish side but as per to see, the market had already turned green at this time which I believe will be a sign for the upcoming bull market. We're not going to expect more but it looks like we are heading that way closer.
1878  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Solana have a future? on: March 23, 2022, 01:17:45 PM
Price drops I think is normal for any coin, it's not a serious threat to a cryptocurrency project.
As long as Solana is still being developed by developers, then there is good potential for Solana's future, regarding the performance of Solana's network I can't doubt it, it could be that the Solana network will become the No.1 network in the future replacing ethereum if the solana project is able to attract the community for their project.
Yes, you are right citing it was a normal market situation but as we talk about in the future, that is something different. We have to see the performance of the project, what happens now or even in the past days will also matter to predict what possibly happens in the future. Unfortunately, Solana doesn't have an impressive performance which makes some investors think negatively about this and even doubtful of its capabilities. Not even to think it surpass ETH, that is impossible.
1879  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: wrx token going continue down, why? on: March 22, 2022, 01:44:40 PM
Not only WRX coins majority of the Altcoins drops in the last 6 months time I believe it will bounce back as the WRX exchange is also growing so I expect the value will also increase by the time but in the current time we listen every now and then about the imposing tax on cryptos in India is also one of the reasons for drop it is purely my thinking still I would say WRX has potential to overcome all the hurdles in the future.
Not, likely because it was surprising that a known exchanger will drop. It is a wild guess why it goes like this and might people be right that this was due to the market drop affecting the crypto market in general.

https://zeenews.india.com/photos/business/5-popular-cryptocurrency-exchanges-in-india-2386786/wazirx-2386791

Assuming that this was because of the market drop, however, this can't be taking so long, recovery will show somehow as the market is started to recover.
1880  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading journals worth it? on: March 22, 2022, 10:45:03 AM
Trading Journals should be encouraged for those who are in trading whether you are a newbie or an old-timer. As in this way, we can lessen the possibility to lose and being misguided. This helps instead to reach success.

But a trading journal would every day remind you of the mistakes, especially when you are in a similar market situation which you have encountered before this will become even more effective.
That only happens if they are really motivated to keep everything on a note. This strategy becomes more helpful if we take this as our basis for trading.
Doing this really needs dedication and we don't just take for granted the mistakes and wrongdoings we did or else, this makes no sense.
