2181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Found a new gem - "Litho" [147k market cap] New coinbase listing? on: October 29, 2022, 02:13:54 PM
It's the most common mistake to think that if an exchange mentions a coin and tells you how to buy it or send it to a stake, someone is bound to think that it will cause that coin to grow. No, it won't. Binance also had similar guides about various coins, but in the end, almost 2 years passed after they were published and no listing happened. You can talk about listing only when exchange announces this listing and not when they just write about how to buy this or that coin. Do NOT try to look for any connection in these events. There is none.
2182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shitcoins and Memecoins on: October 29, 2022, 02:09:55 PM
Did you notice?
It is shitcoin season!!! Memecoins are not to be left behind!

What are Shitcoins?

Shitcoins are crypto assets with little to no value or digital currency that has no immediate, discernible purpose.
On the other hand, Memecoins are genres of crypto assets with it?s value derived from it?s community?s support. They are largely speculative.

Everything you described applies to any altcoin, regardless of its category, whether it is a utility token or a meme coin. All coins depend on community support and whales. Without them, there will be no demand and the creation of a certain market by market makers. If we are talking specifically about meme koins, it is a class of cryptocurrency whose demand depends only on the availability of some influencer. If a meme coin doesn't have an influencer, who will distribute mentions about the coin in social networks, then this meme coin will remain unknown and unwanted. The popularity of this or that coin depends on the degree to which it is distributed in social networks by some person, a so-called opinion leader.

2185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Litentry (LIT) get to $1 this week on: October 25, 2022, 09:34:41 PM
The project has good backers as well as binance support. At the moment about 35% of the whole offer is available.  As a medium-term investment, you could make a purchase of 70-75 cents. There is a chance that this project could grow to at least $5 during the next bull run, which is a very good profit. But again, not investment advice, DYOR.
2186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: APTOS FOR BEGINNERS on: October 25, 2022, 08:38:55 PM
Probably soo this project will experience a huge price dump when the private investors take profit and dump tokens to retail investors that didn't knew what risk they take on buying this token.

That's how all hypes end, actually. That's the downside of altcoins. Hype does not live long on them, but when people get some profits on altcoins, they start thinking that this will go on forever. In altcoins, the winner is always the one who knows how to stop in time and fix the real profit, not the number of tokens, which can quickly depreciate. Aptos is in high demand right now, and everyone is talking about it. Any product related to Aptos gathers a large audience. I think the hype for Aptos will continue as long as its main catalyst, NFT, is in demand. In other words, Aptos will be highly valued as long as the NFT summer on Aptos continues.
2187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Vote To Earn (V2E) on: October 25, 2022, 08:05:13 PM
How many different business models have appeared on the crypto market. But all of them, in my opinion, have one big problem: they do not stimulate participants to develop this business model and the token or coin that supports this model. The majority of people come to these projects for earnings and are not interested in the project itself, its features, etc. The goal is only one: to make a quick buck, preferably involving the connection of many accounts and profiles. Over time, no matter what interesting models developers offer, they all fade away, the price of the token falls to the bottom and the community migrates to some new offer. As long as people don't want to develop projects and only come for earnings, all these models will continue to crumble over time.
2188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which play to earn and Metaverse project do you think will dominate in future on: October 25, 2022, 07:51:23 PM
Between Axie Infinity, Yield Guild Games and Apecoin which one do you think it's worth buying for long term hold? Also if you are ask to name your one to five play to earn with the metaverse project which ones will you pick?

None. Game projects don't live long in terms of popularity, because the community is always looking for more profitable ways to make money on meta universes and p2e games. Axie Infinity was good last year, but tokenomics problems quickly destroyed its popularity. These coins are good to buy at the beginning of their journey and sell at the top of the hype. Don't be under the illusion that meta-universe and gaming projects will behave like bitcoin and rise in value over time. It won't.
2189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hidden Gems on: October 25, 2022, 07:48:17 PM
What are some hidden gems you guys know of? Solid crypto projects that have a great product but haven't really marketed themselves

When you don't know where to look and expect everything to be brought to you ready-made Smiley No one will share the gems they find, and the projects they want to share with you will be the usual shilling or the result of poor analysis. There is no certainty when it comes to gems. Everyone defines gems based on their own analytics and methodology for gathering information on a particular project. If you think it is enough to ask a question and they will bring you the golden grail in the world of crypto investing, I hasten to disappoint you. They won't. Do not rely on other people's advice and analytics, which concerns altcoins, always do it yourself. If you do not know how to do it, then it is better not to invest.
2190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ways to earn aside from bounty campaign and airdrop on: October 24, 2022, 11:13:29 PM
...With nodes, everything is simple until you start setting it all up. If the user is completely unfamiliar with setting up his own server and the command line in Ubuntu, even with a ready-made manual it will be difficult for him to figure out all those console line commands, what works and how to set it up. You need at least minimal technical knowledge to successfully participate in the nodes.

As a rule, all tasks in the test network are similar to each other and consist in swaps of coins, providing liquidity, moving coins through the bridge. All these tasks are not difficult for those who have previously been engaged in trading on DEX and earning on Defi. As for beginners, participation in test networks will allow you to raise your level of knowledge and at the same time also get a profit.

Not everything is as rosy as you describe. Not all testnets are profitable. Anyone who plans to spend time on testnets should consider one truth, that 90% of all testnets will not bring you anything in terms of profit, only experience. It follows that it is not enough just to start taking part in the testnet, you still need to learn to recognize promising testnet. Newcomers who have recently heard about testnet Aptos, rushed to participate in all testnet, thinking they all bring as much profit. They don't take into account the fact that testnets like Aptos appear 3-4 times a year, and everything else just passes by.
2191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Phone Mined Coins as the crypto infrastructure on: October 24, 2022, 10:19:02 PM
I am not sure at all that the next hype will be some sort of mining, whether cloud or phone mining, or even hard drive mining, which was extremely popular when the CHIA coin was popular. I don't think mining is of interest to a large number of people at all because of its cost and shallow profitability. It is much more profitable to spend time on popular business models of earning token or mint NFT and any web3 initiatives. This is what the crypto community is interested in now and will be interested in the future. This is just my opinion.
2192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Price Won’t Go Down Quietly: Risk of Bounce Grows on: October 24, 2022, 10:14:17 PM
Until bitcoin decides on the price movement and trend direction, ETH will definitely hang around in a sideways trend as well. Now the whole market has sharply decreased activity and trading activity as well. No matter what the trading indicators show, if bitcoin will stagnate, ETH will follow it too. It would be too naive to expect that a single coin, in contradiction to the whole market, will start some growth. If a further dump happens, the main thing is for ETH to be able to keep the $1,000 price.

С большой долей вероятности это адрес от монеты WayaWolfCoin: [ANN] WayaWolfCoin (WW), который был запущен в конце 2016 года.

Нет, к сожалению это не та монета. В принципе, я нашёл что это за монета - Wounded Warrior Coin.

Задание остаётся в силе для тех, кто найдёт инфо по этой монете. Особенно меня интересует кошелёк.

2195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alters for Next Bull Market on: October 23, 2022, 10:15:13 PM
since all of investors, traders focus and believe in bitcoins. that's the all the truth we all know. but we can miss the jems which could give high potential to gain more return than BTC because of that. i was thinking about what coins could be the next 50x - 100x gains. i think we should mainly focus on top 300 with higher market caps with lower price and supply. I believe that, we can simply gain more from them and then re invest on BTC which is the trustiest.

There is a big mistake in your reasoning. The fact is that there are no coins in the top-300 that can give you x100 in the next bull run. There are projects in the top 300 that have already grown noticeably and gained significant capitalization. If you're hunting for potential gems, you need to look at coins that are ranked ~800-1500. These are young projects that have a small capitalization and are not yet very widespread in the market. If a project has a capitalization of $1 million, it's much easier for it to grow 100 times than a project that is in the top 300 and already has a capitalization of $200 million. It's simple math. So you're looking for x100 gems in the wrong place. In the top 300 you should be looking for projects for conservative investment.
2196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will ethereum be profitable anytime in the future? on: October 23, 2022, 09:30:20 PM
With change in algorithm and rising electricity bills can mining ethereum be profitable again in the future?

Maybe if it doesn't abuse censorship in the future and keeps its deflationary model. If, however, the centrality and centralization that is now gaining momentum in ETH grows strongly, it could prompt a migration of investors and users. The demand for the blockchain space will decline and ETH's leadership will diminish markedly. ETH's competitors are not napping. Something similar is now happening in the stablecoin sector, where censored USDT is slowly losing market share to USDC.
2197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Censorship be the end of the Ethereum Network? on: October 23, 2022, 08:46:36 PM
What are your thoughts on these recent events? And what project do you guys believe could surpass Ethereum?

None. All the big PoS projects that provide a platform for smart contracts are centralized and subject to censorship. Do you think other networks offer something decentralized and free of regulators? Not likely. Ethereum was apparently the last platform to run on RoW. Blockchain is slowly buckling under centralization and regulation. Tokens and coins are trying to fit under securities law so that they can be regulated and fully controlled.

Well, you look like you must have an even darker vision than I do for the future of cryptocurrencies. So, does it mean that you believe we are just watching the beginning of the end for Decentralization and everything that Satoshi's main vision stood for? Do you think we are heading to complete control with no alternatives?

I wouldn't call it dark, I would call it as logical and realistic as possible. Look around you, almost the entire industry has been influenced by kyc and regulators. Most countries around the world have created their legislative frameworks and taxation for cryptocurrencies. And all of this is part of centralization and control. Any centralized exchange that supports kyc and aml policies can block and confiscate cryptocurrencies. Also, cryptocurrencies have political censorship and sanctions that prevent certain citizens from using cryptocurrencies and using services. That's a full-fledged control and regulation.  How do I see the future of cryptocurrencies? Fully regulated. Alas, there is no trace of the original intent of cryptocurrencies themselves. Cryptocurrencies were supposed to fight the oppression of central banks and governments, but that's not how it turned out. These same bankers and governments control cryptocurrencies and dictate their terms. People do not use cryptocurrencies as an alternative to fiat, they seek to exchange cryptocurrencies for fiat, through various speculations.

Governments will continue to increase control and regulation. The reason for this is that once worthless coins, once worth very little and taken seriously by few, have become worth very much and a huge value has been transferred through the blockchain. Billions of dollars. Now it is a full-fledged industry, and governments, along with banks, will not miss the opportunity to make it all work for them.
2198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Crypto Twitter reacted to Kim Kardashian’s $1.26M SEC fine on: October 23, 2022, 08:19:00 PM
All these media stars are almost always promoting outright scam and garbage.

the question I ask: what is really missing for so many celebrities to have promoted shitcoin?

because celebrities are rich people, they don't even need the money these shitcoins give, but how is it possible that celebrities don't have legal advisors and people who are able to do research on these scam projects and alert celebrities?

They are paid huge royalties for promotion, which allows them to make money on that coin, as opposed to the crowd of naive investors who believed the Influencer. Influencers have always gotten a lot of money for promoting a product to their audience. I think if there were any modest sums involved, these celebrities wouldn't cooperate. If they're spending their time and their media resources, that means there are some extremely lucrative contracts out there.

2200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ways to earn aside from bounty campaign and airdrop on: October 23, 2022, 07:43:50 PM
Testnets and nodes are now the most relevant option if we are talking about earning cryptocurrencies without initial investment. I would like to point out that most of testnet and nodes will never bring you any profit, especially where there is no need to attract real cryptocurrencies. I can also advise those who want to spend their time on cryptocurrencies to participate in Gleam giveaways and airdrop. This is a very popular platform for promotion of different cryptocurrencies and there are new tasks there every day.
The task of tesnets and nodes is very easy and even comes with a tutorial on the medium article, we are only tasked with testing the testnets mode platform to get incentives when tokens will be distributed, but I rarely follow gleam rewards because it has several tasks depending on different projects, but I'm sure there are some new testnets that will potentially grow like Aptos and keep exploring to find other potential tetnets.

I cannot agree with you that tesnets, and especially nodes, are simple. Some tesnets require some knowledge when you test some platform or service. If you have no experience in navigating nets, bridges, and wallets, even with a guide, it can take you a long time to figure it all out, and it can take hours to get through the whole testnet.

With nodes, everything is simple until you start setting it all up. If the user is completely unfamiliar with setting up his own server and the command line in Ubuntu, even with a ready-made manual it will be difficult for him to figure out all those console line commands, what works and how to set it up.
