We have Andretti wanting to have a racing team in F1 as soon as 2024, and we have Audi and Porchse known for 2026 new regulations as well. All of which means that we may live in a world where 15 teams and 30 drivers "may" happen in this decade.

I am not saying that it will happen, because there could be teams leaving too who knows? But by the looks of it 13 is already in the talks and could happen, on top of that we could see maybe 2 more teams joining instead of any team leaving and that would be 15 teams, can't remember when was the last time with 30 drivers. In the end, this is of course great for us because more and more things to watch will happen eventually.
2382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: August 24, 2022, 09:08:22 PM
I wouldn't say Kiev got "lucky", they played against Benfica here, they could have beaten over half of the other teams and unfortunately they just got faced against Benfia and that is why they lost. Benfica is a great team and they would be either the best or one of the best teams left in this round as well.

So, it is not just about Kiev, it's about good Benfica is if you are looking for a reason. Of course Kiev is not a great team, not in a UCL level at least, we shouldn't say that, but at the same time I wouldn't be able to say that they are bad neither or they were just lucky, they are a decent team that had a bad draw and played against a good team for the first time.
2383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP potential? on: August 24, 2022, 07:15:33 PM
Has absolutely no potential at all, I do not see how that could be anything good, we should be able to make money from anything else. Look at how it didn't even crack over ATH in a period when everything else did, in 2021 almost 99% of the coins did crack above their ATH prices, only stuff like XRP, BCH, BSV didn't and these were the ones where a huge amount of community believed in them and we can see how that was a wrong belief.

In the end, never trust anything that is centralized, it may look good today, but I guarantee you that the market will never pick it up and take it a long term, they will make money for short term and then leave it, and you will make a loss.
2384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best portfolio for a $30k fund? on: August 24, 2022, 02:43:50 PM
Honestly this is a big enough money that I do not think many people would consider just one thing, or even 2-3, most people will go a bit deeper. I would for example go with a good chunk of it to Bitcoin, then ethereum and bnb of course, then avax, polygon, ada, and even SOL a bit which I do not really love much but it could maybe do fine, so it's just 2-5% range.

That's why I really believe that as long as you are diversified, if one of them sucks then the others would continue to go up during bull run and make your loss smaller. That would be a great way to make a profit because strong projects that are already at the top would have a small chance to upset you.
2385  Other / Archival / Re: Leading countries in the use of crypto on: August 24, 2022, 12:31:39 PM
I know another nation with 14 million users and 17% population, and yet the name is not there. It's fine, these lists are never really correct because we rarely get the "all" data pack when we are calculating this. We remove some nations because either bias, or lack of information or disputable data etc etc and that is why we get this stuff.

Like how the hell you do not put El Salvador which technically has 100% rate because everyone has to use it and it is a legal tender and it's illegal to not accept legal tender currency if someone wants to pay you with it. All in all, it is a good list, shows most of the amazing places and it means the world is very interested in it.
2386  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Turkish Super League 2022/23 Season on: August 23, 2022, 09:29:23 PM
Fenerbahce and Adana game was really a tough one for sure. I mean not for just Adana who lost 4-2 which is of course clear indicator that it's bad. But we should also remember that we are talking about something that is dangerously bad for Fenerbahçe. Why? How could it be bad for Fenerbahçe when we are talking about a 4-2 win?

I have to say that there is a good chance that we shouldn't really get our hopes up as soon as we see a win from our teams, I am not their fan, but I like the way they play and I have to say they scored a few goals based on the defenses fault from the other team. It looks like they are still having a small bit of problem carrying the ball from defense to midfield.
2387  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: August 23, 2022, 08:04:22 PM
Friendly games really do not mean anything at all. You could play ALL your great players, and it still doesn't matter because they won't care about it as much. Normally the caring happens; least is friendly, then national friendly, then league, then ucl groups, then league last weeks, then ucl last weeks, then world cup with nation. That means we are talking about club friendly which is the least cared about one and it will never be something proper at all, it will always be players who just go out there to get some shape and fitness and that's it.

Do not care about anything else, just focus on the fact that Barcelona looks nice, and that's good enough, don't need to know their exact place.
2388  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: August 22, 2022, 08:38:53 PM
I have to say Ligue 1 is getting more and more boring each year. I can't believe that Lille managed to get that title because it looks like impossible right now for anyone to get even remotely close. I mean PSG was definitely the best team that season as well but something went wrong I suppose, this year they started with 3 wins out of 3 games and 17 insane goals, that's a lot, that's nearly 6 goals per game, I feel like it is going to be quite tough to get even close to them.

Last season I said after 10 weeks that they are already champions, this year I am saying it on 3rd week that they are already champions because their talent and now improved chemistry is insane.
2389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin (DOGE) Pump Once Again Indicates Collapse of Crypto Market ! on: August 22, 2022, 07:20:44 PM
I believe that it is just a surprise and coincidence and not what it is generally. People could of course try their best to make a connection and I do not care about it for sure. I am not saying that it is impossible to have any connection between the two, but it is unlikely for sure.

This is just what I believe, maybe we do have a connection but to me "when doge and shiba pumps, it will be followed by crypto market crashing" doesn't really sound like a reasonable or logical thing. Maybe there is a good logic behind it that someone can explain to me but I feel like there isn't one and I can't see any logic behind it so I prefer not to believe this at all.
2390  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Eredivisie 22/23 - discussion thread on: August 22, 2022, 06:26:51 PM
I feel like 100 goals was easier to do last year compared to this year. Yes, they still have great players but we should also remember that they sold some of their players as well. Martinez, Haller, Ryan, Onana these were all amazingly important players for them and they all left within span of just one summer.

I do not think that they would be really happy with the current situation if you asked them. This is of course just a guess and I do not know how they will be like this year, maybe they will reach to 100 goals even with this roster but I feel like they are worse compared to last season and even worst team in a few years if you ask me as well.
2391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to layer 2 networks? on: August 22, 2022, 04:42:54 PM
Could always pivot their system to something else. The biggest problem with Layer 2 projects is that they are usually not decentralized, they have creators and developers which mean that they are working overtime to make it better. So, if one day things go south, they could always try to do something else and go with the flow and change their features to apply for the brand new better tech.

I am not saying all will do that, some will stay and try to get more attention, but the option is there to change it to the better version if they ever want to. Hence why I believe it would not be really that much of a trouble for them in the long term.
2392  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: August 21, 2022, 09:02:40 PM
Juventus missing way too many players is a big problem for them and it is not like the solution is right there, they just need time and nobody can do anything about it. With enough time they will have everyone back but the problem is if until those players all come back, any other player gets injured or anything then we are going to see Juventus constantly having a cycle of injured players that will cause trouble.

This is why I wonder if they can stay healthy from now on, or will they create a bit more of a problem in the near future. This is a trouble that I am sure they could fix, it is going to be a bit of a big problem only if everything goes wrong.
2393  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: August 21, 2022, 08:24:44 PM
What a freaking game! This was one of the most entertaining matches that I have seen in a long time. I am not saying that this is the match of the year yet because it is literally just the first weeks but we are seeing something special with Newcastle for sure. They were taken over and with that money they certainly became a better team but normally they are not as good as City just yet.

However, for one game they did play like they were nearly equals and they really showed City how tough they can be. City and mainly players like Foden and De Bruyne didn't really see Newcastle as big deal and tried to show themselves a bit if you ask me and this has cost them 2 points.
2394  Economy / Economics / Re: Effect Of Delayed Gratification On Investment Outcome. on: August 21, 2022, 04:51:02 PM
This is definitely a method many people use, but I disagree with it for my personal life. Why would I delay enjoyment in my life when there is so little of it left. If you want to have a wikipedia page about you written by your fans, then it would be smart to try and build something big and save money for it and stop enjoying life for a while so that you could end up building something.

But, if you do not want that, and you just want to enjoy this short span of life we are given, then you should not postpone any happy moments and do whatever you can afford to do, sometimes even things you can't afford to do but pay later on with instalments just to have that. Debt is not bad if you are happy with your life, debt becomes a problem when it ruins your life, now the limits of debt you can acquire.
2395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: August 19, 2022, 08:08:06 PM
We have seen just one game from the teams so far, we shouldn't jump the gun and make any calculations by anyone at all, that doesn't really mean anything. This is why the best thing to do right now is sit back and relax and wait for a few more games before we can make a decision. I mean Barcelona got a tie, do you really think that such a team they built with an amazing manager like Xavi would have a mediocre season?

Of course not, we have seen what they achieved last year and that will be the key factor here again. I personally hope that the best thing we could do right now would be making sure that it is not a jump to conclusion thing for any of us involved.
2396  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 19, 2022, 07:20:34 PM
So far Ronaldo has been declined by PSG, Dortmund, Chelsea, Real, Bayern, he has been getting denied by many clubs all during one summer. He wants to go to a club that would be in UCL, he wants to be the starting striker at the front, and he wants to get a lot of money all at the same time and that is why he gets rejected all the time.

I personally believe that he will stay in United for sure. However, if he really really wants to leave, he could drop his salary a lot and he could take a pay cut and he could leave. I think it wouldn't be a bad decision to stay though, his kid is growing up and learning football in United now, that's fine, he will be playing for a few more seasons at most, he should stay.
2397  Economy / Economics / Re: Google Executives Warn Employees About Layoffs: 'There Will Be Blood On Streets' on: August 19, 2022, 06:41:03 PM
CEO's getting a high salary is not something that I would suggest neither, and I think it should be performance based. Like give them minimum wage 1%+ of that year's profits, and I do not mean revenue, I mean profits.

That way they will work hard to have high profits, but at the same time laying of 10k people all at once would make them profitable for that year, but have a terrible long term disaster, which means it would be hard to find a good way for CEO to get paid without hurting the company. In the end, the whole world economy is in shambles, it's normal for these type of tech companies to lay off people as well considering they must be losing some money too.
2398  Economy / Speculation / Re: Simple information in Bitcoin on: August 19, 2022, 05:26:52 PM
I do not think that people should be coming here and talking about bitcoin like it's anything simple. Bitcoin market, and in general crypto markets are not simple and it’s not easy to understand what’s going to happen. Many people think that way and they are usually wrong.

The only thing we could be certain about bitcoin is that it is volatile and that means tomorrow you can wake up to bitcoin being 20k as much as you can wake up to it being 30k, they are equally possible. This is why never bet your money on short term, because you never know. Long term is easier because inflation and devaluation of dollar means that anything pegged against it will go up, this includes bitcoin, cryptos, gold, stocks and oil, all works well.
2399  Economy / Economics / Re: Lenders and borrowers during inflation on: August 19, 2022, 03:52:34 PM
Inflation is not something that we could 100% trust on every time. Yes, we had a huge one so far, and yes if you took out a loan before that, you got it for cheap and then you start to pay it off back and by the time you finish it, you made a profit by a lot, and I mean a huge amount of money. But, lending and borrowing has always been like this in the long run.

Like in the USA (which is a huge economy and rarely gets a huge inflation compared to other nations) you could buy a house for 20-year loan, which means that you will pay a lot, like get 1 million and pay 2-2.5 million back, that’s a lot right? Well, in 20 years that house will worth 5x that, and you could make a profit just by renting it as well, so you are doubling your profit that way.
2400  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Turkish Super League 2022/23 Season on: August 18, 2022, 08:59:54 PM
It doesn't look like it started the way most teams wanted. Fener spent a good amount of money on top of the good finish they had last year, and got 1 tie with 1 win, instead of 2 wins, against easy teams. Galatasaray built a whole new team basically, and got 1 win barely and 1 loss, BJK ended up with one win (barely again) and another tie.

It really doesn't look like the big clubs are actually in the fight anymore. Back in the day these clubs had a clear favorite situation where they were champions one or the other and the rest of the league just wanted other positions instead, but these three big clubs starting to look like just another team.
