So we're all going to see a drop in hashrate in the next four hours?
Check your equipment, I have the r9 380 and get with each 23.5 Mhash. Check -ethi , SET options in your configuration file. Remember, in the help file the parameters are from 2 GB video card
I say that when properly configured miner video card, the VA will not lose in the speed of hashing. I had a year and a half ago 23.5 Mches much the same I get today.

What brand & settings are you using on the 380?  I have a few of those in one of my rigs and I've never gotten numbers like that out of them.

R9 380X Sapphire Nitro mem. Elpida

Claymore 9.5 Linux does not stop mining after the network is disconnected.

[Wed Jun 21 12:42:31 2017] r8169 0000:08:00.0 p11p1: link up

https://pastebin.com/QR8Uud5v

Pulling max wattage the whole time it was disconnected.

There was a post from Claymore. Here it is.

"Claymore is hacked by tons of newbies. Attacked by them in PM too. Maybe I need to create another FAQ for newbies, but most of them will not read it.
Just some quick answers to recent questions:

1. If you think that the miner will mine even if you turn off the router, wait a couple of minutes more, it will stop.
2. Place all command line arguments in .BAT file in a single line. Arguments from the second line will be ignored.
3. Use latest version if you have problems with DCR or SIA.
4. I don't have any private versions with +50% speed.
5. I'm a software developer, so I think I cannot help you to build your mining rig properly or provide you with the list of necessary parts, please ask this question here on forum or search here, there are many threads related to hardware.
6. Please read Readme.txt or original post of this thread for command line samples, options description and FAQ.
7. I don't have miners for Tesla, IBM CPUs, Phi or for very old GPUs.
8. Mining on laptops is a bad idea.
9. You will not see full hashrate on pool immediately, you have to wait for 24 hours at least.
10. If miner cannot generate DAG file, check environment variables (see Readme), check if your GPU has 3GB memory at least, and check if you have enough virtual memory (pagefile). If all this does not help, try to install more physical RAM.

And sometimes I see really interesting messages. Recently I got PM from a newbie account, he found the issue with Pascal nonces from the log file. I was impressed."

The time stamps show 10 minutes. It was also disconnected for 8 hours over night with the same effect, the 10 minutes is my manual testing.

Hello I have this problem:

Running on Windows 10 fresh install.

Socket was closed remotely (by pool)

Every 60-90 minutes of mining and then the rig is getting frozen.

In the event viewer in the same time there is an error:

The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID
{D63B10C5-BB46-4990-A94F-E40B9D520160}
 and APPID
{9CA88EE3-ACB7-47C8-AFC4-AB702511C276}
to the user NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM SID (S-1-5-18) from address LocalHost (Using LRPC) running in the application container Unavailable SID (Unavailable). This security permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative tool.

I tried to give permission to these keys in the regedit, but it didn't helped.

Tried to set -r 60 so the miner to restart every 60 minutes, but this is not an option too.
Tried every single ethermine eu and us server, but I'm getting the same error.

I have 3 rigs and only one is getting this error.

I have switch and a routed before the rigs.

Tried to downclock cards, but they are stable in both cases and the rig is freezing. I have 1% stale shares if it's matters for stable mining...

Tried to use different IP (from the same switch).
Tried USB lan card.

Nothing worked.

I was using Claymore miner 9.2 and red that some guys installed 9.3 and the problem was gone - I installed 9.5 and for two days I didn't had the problem but it happen again.

Please help me the rig is freezing every 60-90 minutes.......

Switch is first, then is the router and then rigs. I tried to change ports on switch and router and the problem is every time in the same rig.

Hello, i want to ask why after 2-3-4 hours claymore is stopping to mine on dual mode, so rig is not freezing i can get into i t with team viewer, and also i can take action but in that moment miner is not mining.
If i close that process, and open again .bat file it will start, but hashrate its smaller normally is 28 per card for ethereum and if i start it again its 140-150 mh/s. So i need to restart the rig and everything its ok. But what is the problem and how can i solve this

I've got some RX 560 cards. If dual mining Ethereum hashrate is about 13.5 Mh/s but sia only 90 MH/s. I don't understand why get so low sia hashrate, because Ethereum is about half of an RX 470 could but sia is only  quater of rx 470 possible hashrate.

Hello,
I am using Ethos and would like to run claymore with 6 gpu
hope someone could point me in the right direction here (please !)
You have to believe me here when i say that i have tried absolutley everything
i have read here but i just cannot get 6 gpu working with this motherboard.
With Claymore each gpu is at least 2 mh/s faster
With ethminer i can run 5 stable(3 days)
with both sgminer and claymore's the 6 gpu will start up and hash at 27 or so and the cut down to 4
after 1 or 2 minutes.
With sgminer it also does me the courtesy of telling me that the 2 gpu are sick then dead.
This can be with any card in any slot,it always changes.
I think somehow that that is the important part ?
All cards and risers work fine and have been checked in different slots, different risers, individually,
in groups and any combination you can think of.
All the info on here i can find i have followed.
So that's 4 gpu with claymore and sgminer,
and 5 with ethminer.
This is my first build and i have really enjoyed it so far,im looking forward to making more hopefully.
but i have now been banging my head against a brick wall for 2 weeks now(starting to make a mess)
Anyway i hope someone here has a clue for me.
Cheers

Each DAG is 8MB so start with 1000MB and multiple by factor of 8MB for each Epoch. Each Epoch 5 days...

The problem with the 3GB Tahiti cards is that the hash rate drops very fast each epoc.

At what Epoch are we now?

I was thinking of grabbing cheap 1060 3gb, but won't if they won't be able to mine at least next 6 months.

Epoch #130.

You got plenty of time before that happens. By then ETH might go POS or price can crash difficulty can go up 100x from now, etc.

Here is new version of EthMan for tests: https://mega.nz/#!7w4hVKyQ!63zs8B8KBsCnreElYCNz5C0pCLw_5Y_jw9hIQZpWVxY
1. Fixed issue with lost connection.
2. Added "retrigger" feature and separate options for every event.

Perfect, thank you!

Thats pretty solid hashrate, did you modify bios/overclock your cards?

I have another problem, claymore 9.5 doesn't recognize card as AMD one, so -asm mode
is not on by default...and I can't force -asm 1 nor -asm 2...maybe idea for version 9.6 Smiley

Hello Everyone,

I have a GTX 970 graphics card.GPU Driver 347.88, 2 days ago I was getting 22~23 MH/s, but with DAG #130 this rate dropped to 16~17 MH/s. OC mode 18~19 MH/s

How can I solve this problem?

Also when I restart the PC, the problem looks like the picture shows 31~35 MH/s shows the actual result in the pool of course how can we solve it?

http://imgur.com/a/Bb7TC

I need your help.

I know this is a very old article but would the solution explained here mitigate the DAG allocation issue?

http://cryptoyeti.com/ethereum-mining-gpu-cant-allocate-the-dag-in-a-single-chunk/

I'm no expert in crypto currencies but from what I understand as the DAG size grows older cards with less memory will not longer be able to mine and as a result of that the overall network hashrate will drop.

Lets put it this way; it will weed out every Tom, Dick and Harry and their grandma from mining on their laptops, old video cards and so on.

Hello,
I am using Ethos and would like to run claymore with 6 gpu
hope someone could point me in the right direction here (please !)
Cheers
Provide more information about your setup: makes, models, versions, parameters, screenshots, troubleshooting steps taken...

Sorry i forgot to post this bit:

Operating system:Ethos
mobo:Z170A GAMING PRO CARBON (MS-7A12)
ram:4g
Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU G3900 @ 2.80GHz
drive_name: KINGSTON SV300S37A120G
GPU: 6x XFX rx480 8g one of which is the gtr black edition.
PSU: Corsair hx1200i

I have the same PSU, GPUs and CPU... Different MB and Win10. 6 cards in each rig. I have Z170 MB which I use for testing. If I have a spare time I might try to run 6 cards on it. If I were you I would try to seriously downvolt and downclock the cards, let us say half speed, to make sure that this is not related to current, voltage and temperature. If 6 runs with minimal speed than you can rule out drivers, OS, power and etc. I have seen comments that Z170A are the most problematic when it comes to 5+ cards. Have you tried another mobo?
