As long as you have enough $$ to invest to be worth it, yes.
I have not had any problems for months until yesterday night and today.

I think they somehow reverted to an older database of the secret keys. Old keys 'start' to work but fail API verification (which is to be expected) but no newer secret keys pass Leonardo's start, so it's on LEO's end I think as it does not even try to connect to Poloniex..

If you didn't change your executable, your keys will always stay valid for leonArdo.

The "valid" keys (actually the first half) are built-in the executable itself.  That is why Jonathan needs to re-build a version for every new purchase.  So it doesn't depend on an external server or database to check on that.
And think about it:  If it would depend on an external server to check the validity of keys, then all copies of leonArdo would stop working iof their server would be down, or if the company would cease its operations.  Not a good model.

So, logically:
If you changed your executable, then I'd suggest you to revert back to the one you were using successfully before.
If you are using the same executable as before, then my guess is that Poloniex (if that's the one you are using - which one is it?) has banned your IP, for a reason or another.  It does happen sometimes - too often, actually.
Try connecting from another IP.  (And make sure there is no IP whitelist in place for your keys - I don't know if Poloniex has that feature.)

Or try deleting leonArdo's setting folder (or rename it to make a copy beforehand), in case some file was corrupted and leonArdo was somehow sending a corrupt key.  That way, you'll be forced to re-enter your keys when starting leonArdo again, and you'll be sure that you'll be using the correct keys.

Hi, Jonathan.

I've noticed that the app won't close after running it for more than 24 hours (It just keep on saying Shutting Down for hours). I've left it for half a day but it's still running, so I decided to terminate it through the task manager. After relaunching the app, all of my settings and bots disappeared. I hope there's a way for us to save individual bots in a separate file which you can import or export.
I've encountered this on Windows 10 using the latest version of the bot, I didn't have this problem in Ubuntu.
Please advise.

Yeah it happened after I installed the latest version. Odd, though my secret key could not be found but I have been trading on it for 2 weeks after changing it. Somehow it got bombed (No IP ban). GOing back to an older version did not fix it either.

Spoke to Jon about it, we don't know what happened. I re-registered and when it's done hope fully this won't happen. I ended up losing just over 2BTC after I added everything up as the panic-sell trigger on the orders was not tripped. Sux, but oh well.

I still consider leonardo one of the best bots out..

Thanks for jumping in TransAtlantic.

I've been in contact with thedreamer trying to get to the bottom of his issue.

Hi Biege,

You can manually save all strategy settings while leonArdo is running by right clicking the strategy button and saving all.

Of course leonArdo should close properly, but we also know from experience that there are certain circumstances when it doesn't. It's something that we hope to improve going forward.

Best wishes,
Jonathan

Hello All

Really eager to start using Leonardo and thanks to the Dev team for making such a great piece of software.

Paid for a licence a few days ago but having some issues logging in due to keys not matching, sent an email to Rene and also via contact us on the website.

Can anyone advise me as to response times from the Dev team? Or best way to resolve this?

Thanks again

Hi ThomAB,

Can you send me your email address by pm so that I can track your mail down?

Thanks!

Really? I haven't heard of a single other valid case of somebody getting a "key not registered" after we registered it and it initially worked.

There are no missing keys in our database. I'm still not exactly sure what happened in the case of thedreamer but we have no record (database or email) of the keys he assumed were registered.

Best wishes,
Jonathan

Yes bitcoin only

Well, the question wasn't clear, so that answer could be misleading.

You can _purchase_ the software only with bitcoin, yes.

But you can trade all the coins that the different exchanges included can trade.  So not only bitcoin, no.
