sorry to say but the latest releases dont work as well as the 17-04 version.
The card (GTX 660 Ti) does not run as fast AND gives "Result does not validate on CPU" whenever i use a later version then 17-04.
tried all kinds of configs and i will stay with 17-04 version @ 160 kH/s with flags -i 0 -C 2 -m 1 -l 70x4. This same config runs awfull with the new versions.
I'm using win8 64 bit with the Nvidia 314.22 drivers.
Now i am wondering about UEFI systems that have a UEFI graphics BIOS (the windows 8 secure boot thingy), did you take these systems in consideration ??
Or should there be no problem at all with any kind of GPU bioses ?

edit: sorry forgot to mention the cards clock speeds : core @ 1058 mem @ 6008 wich are stockspeeds. sometimes goes to corespeed of 1071 thereabout, regulated by nvidiaboost. no oc'ing. its an ASUS GTX 660 Ti 2gig standard model DC2
I have the same thing, started getting "result does not validate on CPU" with hash rates over 1000k, and a setting 64x2 too big for memory error, changed it to 32x4 same diff... on a 560ti. Windows 7 same nvidia driver. I usually get 158k steady. I updated to the 30th release, and my hash rates dropped to 53k using the same paramarers that gave me 158k. I copied the 22nd files, and i'm still running at 48k-53khs. I was running on the 17th version, but now it's gone. Still trying to figure out what's going on... ------- Edit...ok I copied the 17th version back, rebooted, and now everything is working fine. I have no idea what to make of it. Going to leave it as it for a while..

Alternatively go to github to get cudaMiner. The version there is almost up to date.
Ok, I found it. Please add https://github.com/cbuchner1/CudaMiner to starting post. Why is it only "almost up to date"?

I like mega because they provide a legitimate service. What I don't like a lot is their reliance on Flash to deliver download content.
Besides, I know Matthias Ortmann (aka scuz) in person. He was among those arrested on Kim Dotcoms premises when the FBI raid happened.
Flash == nono. So that site is useless. I suggest you use a service that works without preposterous assumptions about the visitors. I don't get why you're talking about your acquaintances.

Why is it only "almost up to date"?
I left my private github key on the work PC, and only get to do commits whenever I've some spare time on my hands. Remind me to bring that SSH key home soon.

Strange, the same feat requires 10% and a 150MHz core clock offset here. But different cards vary, based on BIOS, manufacturer, PCB layout, ...

what settings did you use ?
just now I am using this config on my 660Ti with 3GB of RAM -i 0 -C 2 -m 1 -l S56x8 This gives 172-174 kHash/s and with slight overclocking this can be raised to 186 kHash/s this config requires 56*8*4MB = 1792 MB of available memory on the card. Not sure why, but those setting crash my computer, I did try auto tune and its now using S56x4, giving a hash rate of 171. Also the Hashrate drops If I use GPU tweak and select the gaming profile, which overclock the card. From gpu boost default 1045 overclock 166 Mem Clock default 6008 overclock 6048 Power Target default 100 overclock 110 When reset to normal the hash rate jumps up to 170 from 145.

I've noticed that when using the latest Nvidia drivers (319.17) cudaminer doesn't find any "low shared memory optimized kernels" but only "spinlock kernel for Kepler GPUs". This S-kernel gives me about 35 khash/s while the other kernel gave me 48 khash/s I'm on Ubuntu 13.04 and I'm using a XFX GTS250 1GB. yeah, the old "S" kernels for compute 1.x devices have been scrapped currently, in favor of kernels that work a bit faster on GTX 660Ti, 670, 680 cards.
You should stick with the previous versions to mine on these really old cards.
If there is enough demand, I might bring these kernels back.

it is but that part of the code wasn't built to use the GPU only CPU
