Meanwhile somebody added 200 Gh/s to the litecoin network and Kurt says it wasn't KNC.
Does anyone know how many Titans Batch 1 and Titans Batch 2 were sold in total?
Just curious...

First batch is equivalent to around 4 petahash, second is a bit more than that. There are open slots remaining on the 2nd batch from what I know. Give or take half a petahash.

Gonna be a historic wild ride.

This just in...

I just heard KnC is going to renege on their offer of a bonus Neptune.  That's right, KnC decided not to send out the bonus miner.  It's just tough luck for all those who expected one to arrive.  This story gets worse everyday.

KnC are crooks.

Vesperwillow, I think those estimates are high. Very high. But I do appreciate the dark humor ...

Wasn't KNC's Titan 1st batch ~ 2500 machines ? I checked periodically to see how many were available and IMMSMC there were ~ 900 remaining when they introduced batch 2. So lets say 1st batch was 1600 * 300 mh/s == ~500 gh/s total for 1st batch.

Dunno how many minis were in batch 1. I always got the impression that they introduced the mini to try to get rid of some of the Titans they couldn't sell.

They don't have to re-neg on it, just mine with it until it is worthless then ship it.

I figure that LTC spike is large preferred KNC customers who got their machines first. The ones with the fully functional cores.

From what I remember awhile back:

Titan
Batch 1 (Sep delivery) was 2500 (which got sold out)
Batch 2 (Oct delivery) was 2500 (with some open right now)

Mini
Batch 1 (Sep delivery) was 1,200 I believe (which got sold out)
Batch 2 (Oct delivery) presuming same as above, but not sold out

There was rumor some elect folks got a special deal of Batch 1 Titans for cheaper than others and the quantity wasn't part of the 2500, but that's all speculative.

So in theory:
Batch 1
Titan = 2500 * 300 = 750gh
Mini = 1200 * 150 = 180gh
Subtotal: 930gh
20% overclock: 186gh
Potential: 1.1ph

Batch 2
Titan = 2500 * 400 = 1000gh
Mini = 1200 * 200 = 240gh
Subtotal: 1240gh
20% overclock: 248gh
Potential: 1.48ph

Still high by a factor of 1000 !

deca -> hecto -> kilo -> mega -> giga -> tera -> peta -> exa -> zetta -> yotta

today's factoid: The number of atoms in the entire observable universe is estimated to be within the range of 10^78 to 10^82, or more than a mega yotta yotta yotta

Seriously now, these guys work 35 hour weeks and get 30 holidays/vaction days a year. Anyway Kurt denied the LTC spike was KNC on their forums.
Maybe it is … no, not Fibonacci, … no not Alpha-T, … no not Flowertech, maybe Zeus / GAW / VB / Bitmain / Spondooles ?

I`m waiting for a refund for over 140 days
I had a real problem as my father needed a kidney transplant and asked for a refund on 30.04
Call them , explained them my problem , send them medical leather with the translation of my sister diagnostics and medical problem  (the whole family has health issue ) .
They did not refund me , is the same answer over and over again .
I`ve sent email requesting assistance to over 15 Swedish lawyer with no response .

This is the worst company I`ve ever encountered in EU.
I had enough .

Hey, I just stopped back by on the KnC forum and saw that things have not got any better with the refunds.  This worked for me, but ymmv.  File a complaint form with ARN.  On their website, they have forms for english also.  Now I did receive email from them in swedish and had to translate it, but otherwise everything worked fine.  I just filled out the form, attached my invoice and copies of emails from KnC.  KnC waited until it was time for ARN to have a hearing and then refunded my money.  Good luck on your refund.

  Perhaps you are referring to ARN Magnusson the Knight Templar?  I don't think he's been around since the 12th century...
Care to share a link to ARN? It would be greatly appreciated.
 ARN is also Arlanda Airport in Stockholm... still searching

I just whipped this little number up for possible use on a Neptune.

I am considering upping it to 16AWG and HCS pins but only if there is demand for it.

These little beauties did the trick, got my Neppy cubes running at full steam with ridiculous efficiency!  I'm pretty sure we'll order some of these (the upgraded hcs ones) for our Titan as well.  Hopefully they offer 2 or 3 for one on Titans because with Bitmain stepping up to scrypt mining with December delivery, I'm a little salty about not having them yet.

Please add more BTC here (my son will apprecciate it when he's older): 14WsxbeRcgsSYZyNSRJqEAmB1MKAzHhsCT

Maybe some big guy buy rest of batch 1 Titan and mini, I remember that day I'm sort my-cart and about to add second order of Titan and mini, page shows 12xx and 18xx, and when the time I back from my shower and decide to put order, knc was closed batch 1 already just few minutes time frame, so my understand there will not that much Titans release to market, or maybe knc close batch 1 just because there were some big man or group acquire their equipment at single huge order, and this could explain whole story.

And the 200G on LTC network, maybe just this group buyer starting to hashing and host by knc cloud, and this is anOther explanation for the phenomenon what we saw by yesterday.

Except knc there is still no such powerful miner release to market, all we need do is just wait our order to delivery, and that's also what we can do now, just waiting and do nothing, because it is true Titan is truly most powerful miner so far.

Well, business is business, after my further count and estimate, I could ROI 60% of my preorder during Titan's life span, with current LTC price, hopefully price not dropping more.

Meanwhile somebody added 200 Gh/s to the litecoin network and Kurt says it wasn't KNC.

they have been selling HASHNET like there is NO limit and also ...so I heard...
... gawminers came thru on its 750mh scrypt miners 'virtual hashing' until they ship to beat knc..that started aug 25th I think it was
that would be a big dump....indeed

so supposedly they sold MORE then the Titan batches...that could be the reason for the jump in difficulty for LTC etc

(to think last summer I remembered when KNC gave a f*ck and would not allow themselves to be played and mocked by somebody like gawminers...I guess
enough money and the laughter is muted...you want much merriment and ego busting go to the gaw forums and announce you have a 1st batch Titan..if you
are lucky maybe from the laughter you can at least get somebody to cough up their lunch in hilarity at your misfortune)
