I have four of the same Powercolor Red Dragon RX 570 4 GB cards. I get 28.25-29.25 MH/s ETH and 730 - 745 MH/s dual mining DCR after flashing the Bios BBT posted in the description of the video he did for those cards. I'm using 1200 MHz core clcok and 1975-2075 MHz overclock for the memory in Afterburner with a -96 mV undervolt and -15% Power limit. Great cards, only after using HWinfo to check for memory errors, I found not all cards can take 2075 MHz for the memory, so I have to use 1975 MHz. They also run hot when dual mining. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VC3WQLEDZN0&feature=youtu.be&t=6207

You also need to undervolt in bios if you want to use AB or use better utility. I will post link to new OverDrivenTool for blockchain drivers.

Comparing the Bios BBT posted in the video to the original Bios, it looks like he just copied the original 1500 timings to the higher frequencies in both sets of straps. I also tried it with the PBE v1.6 'one click' straps, but the BBT Bios worked slightly better. PowerColor Red Dragon RX 570 4GB Original Bios: PowerColor Red Dragon RX 570 4GB BBT Bios: Afterburner 4.4.0 Beta 16 works fine in Windows 10 with the AMD blokchain drivers. While dual mining, HWinfo is showing 0.897 V core voltage and 103.8 W average with a -96 mV undervolt and -15% Power limit in Afterburner. https://forums.guru3d.com/threads/rtss-6-7-0-beta-1.412822/page-32#post-5459908

Oh sorry my bad. It was his another video where he has bios with that timing, I haven't looked at this one... Yeah that timing strap in PBE is not very good.

It's not bad, but also not very good. I don't like downloaded bios from the internet... if you want free bios mod do it yourself it would be at least the same as the downloaded but much safer.

I wouldn't say the PBE v1.6 bundled straps aren't that good. For most of the cards I have they worked great. With the Sapphire Nitro+ RX 580 8GB it gave me almost 31 MH/s and with the Sapphire Pulse RX 580 4GB I'm getting almost 30 MH/s. The others like my ASUS STRIX RX 480 8GB cards are over 29 MH/s. Probably not the best timings possible, but in most cases definitely better than just copying the original straps down. Also just because someone shares a Bios made with publicly posted straps doesen't mean it's bad. As I remember, YOU were busted by Wolf0 for SELLING his straps which were NOT posted publicly. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1954245.msg19577024#msg19577024

BTW: It was Eliovp timing strap. I paid for that timing elsewhere, didn't know it was his. The timing strap is publicly released.

sorry, but can you know what this uber mix is? I can, but you seem confused Uber-Mix is performance timing strap for Samsung memory. I'am using Ubermix and that mod is only increase a bit my 4x470s Samsung hashrate, just 1 mh/s more but others doesn't works for me

You also need OC the memory. The best hashrate you will have with memory clocks over 2000MHz (8GHz).

For the Powercolor Red Dragon RX 570 4 GB cards, the best result I got was with the BBT Bios (original 1500 MHz straps copied to the higher frequencies on both sets). With that Bios mod you can get up to 29.5 MH/s if you increase the memory to 2075 MHz, but like I said not all the cards can handle that without giving tons of memory errors, which will eventually cause the card to crash. 1975-2000 MHz is much more stable.

Yes, always do every card separately. Do not use functions like AB synchronize same GPUs... you would never have the best performance.

Hi,first of all thx for this guide Mattthev! I finally managed to edit bios for my rx470 samsung memory cards after a dozen of hours of fail and try attempts, and cards are finaly showing properly in device manager without any code errors and stuff, got a small increse in hashrate cos i went for original starps, problem I m having now when i try to OC cards in AB. or in trixx nothing happens,no change are showing after hitting apply, like the cards are locked or something, tried couple of different betas of AB and trixx, same thing,any1 have posible solution to this mistery, thx? EDIT:oh never mind me, now i see that i can change gpu clocks within a modded bios editor ,thx
