I used antpool and slush, and let me tell you, antpool got many blocks, but slush is more reliable and fair. Remember antpool cheated a lot of their miners by hiding blocks etc.
Slush would never do that.. never.
I disagree,
I think slush is cheating you right now,
These pool owners know the tricks to manipulate the pool and fill their own wallets...
Amazing how things start to rectify once 10Ph leaves the pool,
This is the owner making sure he can afford that new house or vacation overseas, its just greed.
One person (owner) prioritizing their needs ahead of all the workers that actually make the pool.
And its definitely cheating.

And it takes a real coward to do it in such a deviant and sly manner....
Still no comment from the pool owner......
You dont think thats odd....

These are hard accusatuions, can you provide some evidence?

Well I'm sure he can't. But that's the problem with closed source pool software.  Least with Kano he is open source
the whole issue is you shouldn't have to put trust in the pool op.  Satoshi original ideal of decentralization would have worked had slush not been greedy and started the first pool to what.  Gain the system by combining power of many users hash.  Now that diff is where it is and we have so much hash sadly it's the only way unless you have good luck and 160 ths so you can pay the bills a month.  Need to at least be hashing at speed high enough to find a block once a month or you get further out of pocket.  I think honestly asics destroyed what Bitcoin was originally.  Just my two bits anyway. Now we just have to figure out where it goes from here

Best regards

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

We dont have any proof and thats the problem,
If we had proof at least something could be done,
Do you have any proof to the contrary ?
When there is no integrity there can be no trust.
If antpool can do it so can slush.

i now only mine my own pools, after witnessing no blocks in a period of time, then the day after blocks appearing in wrong order, claiming to be found 18 hours ago, when last block was found 2 hours ago obvious manipulation, but could also be the looking after loyal miners thing Sad

i dont actually know for certain, but like i said above, i witnessed about an 18 hour period with no blocks found at all, the day after a block was added into my reward history which didnt fit with all the others, block above it needed something like 99 confirms, the block before it needed about 5 confirms, but the added block was confirmed 18 hours previous, im assuming this was the loyalty system, either that or they were hiding blocks from the miners, then re adding the hidden blocks at a later date... i do fully accept there could have also been pool issues, crons not running correctly and then relaunching the crons could account for the odd block in reward history. sorry i couldn't be any more helpful :/

Sounds from what you are saying, it is merely listing the newest blocks found on the top and rather than listing conformations it is stating how many conformations are left.  99 confirms left indicating the newest, 5 confirms left is 2nd newest and the 18 hour previous is obviously confirmed.  seems correct order to me.

Looks like the effective rate is around 20PH/s. The question is where the other 20s go to. Undecided

That's a good question. BTC is a rock-solid algorithm, which turns many noobs off and their own impatience keeps them away from a great learning experience.

Where did that extra 10 PH come from?

It has always been the norm for 28 - 32 PH, but on random occasions, you will see that extra 10 PH which brings the total hash to 38 PH and 'luck' takes a nose dive.

I don;t get you guys... I was on slush for a long time, but something is obviously not right these days. I've since switched to kano and I couldn't be happier. How long can you guys afford to stick around telling yourselves "it'll turn around soon.."?

Recent low luck has started a lot of speculation about the health of our pool. We have performed a deep analysis of our infrastructure and haven't found any issues. We are currently analyzing every piece of the deployed software along with all logs. We would really love to find THE bug that would solve the problem. However, there is NO indication of this being a software problem. We will keep you posted. Tonight, we will be deploying new version of the stratum software on all our machines that gives us even more details about all mining sessions.
