I'm undeclocking memory at 350 with MSI Afterburner prior to starting my mining. You cannot do it with cgminer.

You must modify the Afterburner config file for this to work. Can't remember the details. Check in the Google machine.

Actually you can underclock with cgminer - e.g.

cgminer -o http://pool:port -u username -p password -I 9 --auto-fan --auto-gpu --gpu-engine 750-950 --gpu-memclock 300

see this thread:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=68793.0

[EDIT]

I find it crashes less if you don't use afterburner (or other radeon ati overclocking apps) - just overclock for bitcoin with cgminer params

Any one else notice slush's pool luck is proportional to BTC price - when pool luck is low it's a good time to buy BTC and when pool luck is high it's a good time to sell. Uncanny.

See, yesterday BTC was really low when pool luck was really low - now BTC is rising again as Slush's pool luck is high - conspiracy theorists fill your boots...

What is wrong with https://mining.bitcoin.cz/stats/graphs/ "Your daily reward"? Why not use that? Is there any particular reason why you are interested in the last 24 hours as opposed to last day?

Because it's on another page entirely.

It's just good feng shui having it on the accounts page as "Estimated 24 hour reward" or something similar. We would then be able to see all our individual workers' stats, namecoin and bitcoin earnings, along with 24 hour estimated rewards without having to load a separate page altogether.

One could ask, "If that data is already available on the Graphs page, why not include a relevant data-snippet on your accounts page ?"

My last two rounds are showing much lower than normal payouts, It's probably just me being unlucky, but I thought I'd check.

Anyone else seeing this with their's?

17838 and 17839? I noticed connection problems at the end of both rounds and that costs. But it's all part of the lottery.

I'm on about 17840 and 17841, but like you said, maybe it was just a glitch in the matrix (my rewards for the blocks you mentioned are fine).

Anyway, it's been a great day for us all, Salut Grin

All 4 of the xfx 7950 double d's I have here are voltage locked turds that won't go past 1050 reliably.  If I knew what I knew now I'd have just saved myself 50$ a card and got more of the tahiti 7870's that I have.

Thats bad.  You know though even my normal 7870's are giving 90% of what I'm getting off the two 7950's.  I think those XT cards may be my next upgrade.  Much easier to keep from overheating.

They are a good value that's for sure.  My 2 7870 @1100 give me 950mh/s and the 3x 7950's in one machine only give 1.53gh/s :S at 1200 and still under stock voltage the 7870's can match two of the 7950's.  The only saving grace is that in the end I'm fairly certain the 7950's will all have a higher resale value.

Hmm.. my 7950 tops out at around 602 mh/s.  How can I get YOUR extra 18 mh/s? What flags are you using in GUIminer?

I'm using AMD's Overdrive...GPU max, voltage max.

You can go higher then max in AMD Overdrive with Afterburner but you need to edit ini file. I can't remember exactly but it is something like unofficial EULA that you need to change from 1 to 0 or other way around...

So my guess is higher core speed. You might get 5-10% extra just running cgminer also...

Notice that I'm missing about 10 to 20% of the reword for blocks 17846 and 17845, 17842 and 17841, 17837 and 17836. Unlucky or a problem? Some are over hour so luck shouldn't be a problem...

I just noticed one of the workers happily submitting shares while the account page says I submitted nothing for over an hour. I reconnected and normal operation resumed.

I wonder if a hacker figured out how to redirect mining streams.
