The distribution of Merits would have been fairer if it were based on the amount of activities. The distribution of merits thatmade according to the rank is not fair. A new Sr. member who have 241 activity point and the same rank who have 476 activity got the same amount of merit. Is it fair ?

I really dont understand this new system very well. It seems or appears to be creating a longer road for persons to be able to climb higher in rank.

I am two weeks away to be a Full Member, but now I'll have to collect 90 merit to deserve this rank. I'm a bit confused but I totally understand the system. I hope that now the forum will be with less shitposts.

Personally, I will not change my manner to participate here. I'll continue to post quality messages. If I get merit points : good ! If I don't get them, it's not a biiiiig deal, I'll wait. And I will give my sMerits without being manipulative. I hope that everyone will think like me. Let's be positive guys.

I'm just trying to figure out the real effects of the new system, I'm not so sure if the results will be a real improvement of the posts (for me it will be, because I'll try from now to write better posts), but at least this will stop a little the invasion of meaningless posts written by illiterates.

However, I can't understand exactly the idea of a "finite number" of sMerits, out of the part that will be "mined" monthly.
This means that sMerit are a kind of currency, but in the same time if you don't use them, they will disappear...
I don't know, may be I'm not so smart but there is something that I can't grasp.

I fully support you. I'm in the same situation as you are. And I think that this is unfair to users who have been going for a long time towards the goal

honestly, this makes me very sad, even if i understand why this merit system is implemented for.

i am like 3-4 weeks away from my sr.member rank and this fucks me really up

i'm sad, angry and shocked together X_x". now i have to collect like 150 merits in a short time but how Oo", i dont think that people will freely start to like everything i post... since humans are not generous, infact, they can be very harsh to others, being anonymous on the internet...

I have to agree with this..For the most part people tend to lord any kind of power over those that have none.
I see a path to abuse here(merit for crypto perhaps?)
Seems it should/could have been rolled out in a more balanced way.

Without reading through literally everything, will our merit points be replenished at any point after we send them or can you only gain them from others for useful posts?

Are you serious or what ? Many airdrops and bounties depends on of your rank profile in this forum, do you know that?
Honestly I'm still a bit confused about that, there were obviously too much scams and a solution had to be found, but honestly this way is really hard for common users, we'll see how this innovation will work.
