IMO RFC impact to Share, High RFC much shares, Low RFC less shares

--RRDS 3 --RRDL 3 then GPU with high OCL and Intensity dead, --RRDS 5 --RRDL 5  stable

So, CNR must be perfect in tuning, then hashrate got reward in good shares

Beside that, Pool eficiency must be good, so mining profitable

--CL 12 --RAS 28 --RCDRD 12 --RCDWR 5 --RC 44 --RP 10 --RRDS 3 --RRDL 3 --RTP 5 --FAW 20 --CWL 7 --WTRS 4 --WTRL 9 --WR 16 --WRRD 1 --RDWR 19 --REF 17550 --MRD 8 --MOD 15 --PD 8 --CKSRE 10 --CKSRX 10 --RFC 250

What memclk?
I got instacrash with this. Also you can try to lower FAW to even 12. After some discussion it seems lower FAW is better.

On my 6 card rig FAW 12 instant crash, but on my 5 card rig it's running good for the last 2 hours. 30 min avg. hashrate increased from 10641 H/s to 10720 H/s @ CNR.  Less than 1% but its for free Wink
Now more than 10% increase from stock values. 9600 H/s --> 10700 H/s.  11.46% for CNR which is not the most memory intensive algorithm.

Can someone please tell me how to get this running in windows?

# Build (Windows)
  - Clone repo
  - Launch VS Project
  - Build!

I downloaded or "cloned" the files from github.
I deciphered "Launch VS Project" to download a Visual Basic program, (install a bunch of stuff i dont want) and open a project in Visual Basic.

And i have no clue what to do now, cant find any"project" or "Build" option.

So after pissing about for 3 days I've gone back to stock Vega 56 bioses.

The Vega 64 bios on my cards did increase the hash but at the cost of way more power and hash drops 20khs and 1.2kw from the wall

Fine tuned the my cards on 56bios to 19khs without timing, And 20khs with timing pulling 950 w from the wall. Pool hash rock solid now aswell

Hi Guys,

Zorg33 said to me share this set, because it's impossible, but working good for me:
--CL 12 --RAS 28 --RCDRD 12 --RCDWR 5 --RC 44 --RP 10 --RRDS 3 --RRDL 3 --RTP 5 --FAW 20 --CWL 7 --WTRS 4 --WTRL 9 --WR 16 --WRRD 1 --RDWR 19 --REF 17550 --MRD 8 --MOD 15 --PD 8 --CKSRE 10 --CKSRX 10 --RFC 250

Vega56 @ 64 sapphire samsung ram, Win10, 18.6.1 and 18.5.1 classic 1408/900core 1100/900mem

Turtle 22+
ETH 51+
Cr-Lite 10K khs (1600/990 1100/900, but crashed, 9600kh 1408/900 1100/900 super stable after 24h)

Ok, now after 16 hours of running, i can say: superb!  Grin

Reference Vega 56 (64bios) at 20.7 kh/s 1280/870 1090/900 ODT L20+20 (TRM)
Asus Strix Vega 64 at 21.32  kh/s 1280/870 1090/880 ODT, L18+18 (TRM)

Driver 18.6.1., GPU temp 66 C (have problem with small space for rig, so results could be even better), power for 3 Vegas + 1 RX570 from the wall 710W.

just thought i'd share what i've done with this with the hope it helps others (or me)

have 3 vega's mining ETH on my rig (have a mix of rx470s, 480s and 570s, using phoenix 4.1c, amd driver 18.5.1 but will try 19.2.2 soon)

all vega reference 56's flashed to 64.

using wattman to adjust settings
windoze 10 1803
gpu 852mhz @ 0.825v
mem 1085mhz @ 0.825v
power limit -40%
(GPU only power draw in GPU-Z is 116w)

previously getting ~43.4mhs

now getting ~44.1mhs with using "winamdtweak --i 6,8,9 --rp 12 --rc 44 --rfc 250 --rrds 3 --rrdl 3 --rcdrd 12 --rcdwr 5 --CL 19 --RAS 28 --REF 15600"
*no change in power usage (checked with hwinfo via my corsair rxi psu's)

Try my timings if you want to run ethash 51+ mh.
pbfarmer's timings are better for CN algos.

Also you may have to increase core clk to benefit from faster mem.

Yes.

I tried stock timings from V56 on V64 bios and memory set at low freq.
But there are 3 values in it that cause instant crash of gpu.
Rddata, wrlat and rc 39
The first two seems to be unable to change on the fly. And rc is simply too low because there must some unrevealed parameters in the timing strap that also needs to be changed paralelly.

However without these 3 params the v56 timing gives the same hashrate in CN algos at 925MHz as the stock timing at about 1050M.

Anyone got into this?

Also in the jedec pdf the mode register bitmaps are different than the structure in eliovp's tool. So it would need a bit of trying to find the missing values.

This is a great tool, thanks to the author!

I finally got my Vega 56's (v64 BIOS) stable running the HBM at 1100MHz by increasing the CL to 21. I am using SRB 1.8.2 mining Monero (CNv4) with the following settings:

Core: 1447MHz 0.900V (0.870V according to HWiNFO)
Mem: 1100MHz

Timings: --CL 21 --RP 12 --REF 15600 --RC 45 --RFC 244 --FAW 20 --RCDRD 12 --RCDWR 8

4 cards averaging 2060H/s each, total system pulling 820W from the wall.

EDIT:

Testing now with 0.850V core voltage (0.825V according to HWiNFO) total system power 740W.

Lowered --REF to 7800 due to incorrect share popping up, hashrate dropped to 2040H/s per card .

I use th --current command to find current values. It loads all values and then closes. How to get it to stay open. I add pause but still no good.

Anyone having some good timings for Radeon VII? I'm thinking of Cryptonight R algorithm. I like to run my Radeon VII at low core and memory but I'm getting lower hashrate than my Vega 56 at same clockspeeds...
