Russia still considering banning Bitcoin, while Ukraine opens a Bitcoin Embassy and plans to set up bitcoin ATMs around the country

Dozens of Bitcoin-based businesses operate out of Russia and not a single user of bitcoin has been detained there until now(unlike the US, where bitcoin users such as Ross Ullbrecht, Charles Shrem, Michell Abner Espinoza and Pascal Reid are currently undergoing prosecution). And regarding the Bitcoin Embassy opened by Ukraine, do you have any official statement from the Ukrainian government regarding this?
More funny thing here is that I'm operating directly from prosecutor's office. Yeah, bitcoin is banned indeed Cheesy

No surprise there. The oil prices were being artificially kept at a premium, due to the conflict in Donbass / Iraq / Libya. Now all these conflicts are dying down, so the cartels don't have any more excuses to keep the prices high. That said, the Brent prices can jump to $110 or more, if new sanctions against Rosneft.etc are announced by the EU / US.

Interesting that the representative of the NBU speaks in Russian in this video.

Why is that interesting?

should we trust RT's news?

If you trust the news from Faux, MSNBC, CNBC, BBC, CNN.etc, then there is no harm in trusting the news from RT. Fore sure, it can't be any worse. But you should understand that if you want unbiased news, then you'll have to depend upon the social media. I am talking about Blogs, YouTube, Twitter.etc. They are immune to the governmental censoring.

The problem for Ukrainians is that you can't convert from hryvnia to Bitcoin directly. You should at first buy dollars which Ukrainian banks just won't sell you...

The site has only two languages, Ukrainian and English, but their speaking heads still use Russian, lol

They're not immune at all. For example, RT channel was banned once or AnnaNews channel was deleted twice.

Show the continuous video where the Grad is firing next to dwellings. You have already posted much garbage here that turned out to be either fakes, not what you pretended it to be, or just bullshit...

Five Ukrainian Soldiers Killed Despite Ceasefire: Clashes continue following shaky Minsk peace deal

Five ‪#‎Ukrainian‬ soldiers have been killed since Friday's ‪#‎ceasefire‬ deal with ‪#‎Russia‬ and insurgents. A further 33 Ukrainian troops have been wounded since the peace agreement was signed in Minsk, Belarus. The death toll indicates that the fragile ceasefire is struggling to hold. There have been reports of attacks by Russian militants near the Donetsk airport and by the strategic coastal city of Mariupol, both currently held by Ukrainian forces. The news comes as Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov called for talks on the future political status of ‪#‎Donetsk‬ and ‪#‎Luhansk‬.

While true about being immune, almost all of them just repost what those news sites you mentioned post, or are heavily influenced by their reports. Very few social media reports are from people actually in the area witnessing or taking pictures and videos of things actually going on (like the pictures of the BUC that shot down the plane matched to the pictures of it in a convoy in Russia, or pictures of a large Russian military convoy of  troop trucks, fuel trucks, and armaments videotaped from a city bus in Ukraine).

What about this then? https://coinreport.net/btcu-biz-launched-4000-bitcoin-atms-ukraine/ The fees are a bit high, but access seems very easy. And with the Kiev Bitcoin Embassy planning to roll out their own ATMs, competition should drive the fees down.

The site has only two languages, Ukrainian and English, but their speaking heads still use Russian, lol

Not sure why that's interesting or funny. When I lived in Kiev, most people I heard still spoke Russian, and I spoke Russian with all my friends and my mom (Ukrainian with dad). It's why I instantly knew that the claims from Russian news that "Ukrainian government wants to ban Russian language" were lies. Three are probably a lot of people even in Kiev who don't speak Ukrainian very well.

Note that this doesn't make those russian-speaking Ukrainians "Russian," any more that english-speaking Americans, Canadians, Australians, Indians, South Africans, and Kenyans are "British."

Some other interesting articles on that site:

http://euromaidanpress.com/2014/09/09/russian-channel-ntv-demonizes-right-sector/
http://euromaidanpress.com/2014/09/09/dmytro-yarosh-strategic-plan-for-the-general-population/

Right Sector is a known neo-nazi organisation and they are supported by the Ukrainian government. They don't even hide it, using symbles like the Wolves Angle and the black red flag, which were used by nazi's in WWII. Their leader is Dmytro Yarosh who said that the Ukrainian government is riddled with traitors in the second article and the people should take a stand against them. Guess it's hard to keep a good nazi in line. Cheesy

Very good. But the  Kharkov people should be more active. They accomplished one of the most spectacular operations in this tragicomedic war, the ambush of the American general, and they should accelerate other high-profile jobs to increase the pressure.

More than anything, I think, Kharkov should be the one to be returned to Russia.THe oil money could transform Kharkov. I read that it was the third biggest urban center of the USSR but if you see Kharkov now, it is very dilapidated and clearly lacking in investments. Driving from Kharkov to Belgorod in Russia, which is nearly tenth  smaller in population is just like flying from Bucharest to Budapest- from Third World to First World. The refurbishing that have been given to the Russian major cities lately will transform Kharkov. I'm thinking along the lines of Yekaterinburg, Rostov na Donu or even the much smaller in population but classier Far Eastern cities like Khabarovsk & Vladivostok.

BTW Same also to Odessa. Odessa has one of the best architecture in the Russian Empire but it has gone to seed. Really rundown. It should be asked, if it was right to give these treasures to the Ukrainians and let them disintegrate under their now well-known incompetence (a common narrative throughout their history as serfs to various empires). Russia should revisit the US declaration on Crimea: that Crimean independence is illegal because there were no referendum in Ukraine. Ergo Ukraine is still part of Russia because the Russians never voted to let go of Ukraine. Ergo Odessa is still part of Russia.

Russia, together with China , is at the vanguard of the emerging world. I think this should be one of the considerations in the coming rectifications.
