So what are your settings?  Mine came 200 @ 0725.  Manual shows 200 @ 0720.  Only averaging 1950GH/s.  I'd like more but don't want instability issues.

0726v 231.25mhz

Edit: I'm on 220/240v so amp draw is lower. I cannot be responsible if your psu blows up in your face.

2nd Edit: Incase someone calls bull.. http://prntscr.com/5d79fs

well done

Bitmain do not offer FREE Shipping.

IF miner will be returned to Bitmain customer not receive refund.
Bitmain ask customer to pay for shipping cost.

This is NOT "FREE" Shipping.

Its free shipping on the black friday S4 pack.

No, free shipping means that cost of shipping for customer is zero.

But Bitmain can ask customer for shipping cost compensation.
This option should not be called "free shipping".

"Shipping included" may be.

... you pay for shipping either way, Santa Claus doesn't deliver miners.

No, incorrect.

the diffrence between buying miners on bitmaintech.com "free shipping" and aliexpress.com "free shipping" in that if the miners returns to sender due to some delivery problems (like customs) I do not pay for "free shipping" on aliexpress and pay on bitmain

So every miner cost 500$ + 320$  shipping cost that I have to pay if customs make spot check.

Just a note,

I under clocked  S4, running 0650 and 125 pulling 690 at the wall hashing 1195 avg .  All is well, Sound much lower.  Of course the C1 is much quieter than either the S3 or the S4.

Also I am having trouble with the Ethernet connection on the S4, sometimes when I reboot it comes up with 127.0.0.1.  But is showing not lights on the connector.  A wiggle or two will get it going along with a reboot..  If I bump the cable while it is running it will start beeping and quit mining.  Again wiggle it.  I have not had time to look into it further, but that is a problem going forward

Barbara

Help me understand why you would under clock the S4 this soon. By not at least hitting the 2THs you're making it extremely hard to ever make ROI. I was also thinking about under clocking my 4 units but I think I still need 2 to three more months to get to my break even, at that point I will down shift.

Am I missing something ?

You did not miss anything, I did it because I live in a fairly small apartment, and the noise from the S4 was just too much.  Fans were running at 3800 + could not carry on a conversation.  Now the fans are running at 2880 all the time which is livable.  I also have a S3+ and a C1 all new last month.  I do not even look at ROI, I just set aside X dollars to play with and this is what it is this time.  I like tech and being retired I have time to play.  I have built Hi end computers in the past just to set speed records.  So don't listen to me.  This will actually pay me back better than the money I spent on building computers.

Enjoy what you do or don't do it is my motto

Now do I add 3 more C1s with the four way cooler?  The C1 is very quiet.   Smiley

Barbara

One thing to consider is that when she underclocks at these settings she is GAINING a 10% increase in efficiency compared to electricity usage. Over a long period of time this will pay off, like many months. I have tried and tested this.

They're fulfilling their obligation to send the goods, its up to you to know if customs would block your products (if they're not allowed in your country).

I KNOW THIS IS AN S4 THREAD.  However, not much going on at the S3 thread.  So, I'm bringing this question over here:

Has anyone bought an S3 lately and noticed in "miner status" that you have four (4) fans listed when in fact your S3 only has two (2) fans?

Look at mine:

>clip image<

Also, my S3 will allow me to adjust the voltage like an S4 does.  My S3 will not RESET properly either.  So, I was wondering if BITMAIN installed S4 software on my S3?

Has anyone else noticed this on a new S3 they have purchased?

He he, 4 fans-a first glimpse of S5 (flat or double decker)?  Grin
Predictions: 3 times more chips (underclocked), 2-2.5 times higher GH (hopefully, 1TH), 0.6w/Gh with voltage control for further underclocking to 0.4w/Gh

You forgot the unicorns. Many GH of unicorns.

unicorns are optional, but whatever parameters I stated better be there or it is NOT going to sell.

I looked at the aliexpress website.  I could only wish I could get those prices for my machines. For us non-VAT folks, there's no comparison.

custom blocks at random when do spot check with probabilty 0.2
Yes, Bitmain don't have official permission to sell miners to my country ( as custom says)

But why I need to pay 320*16=5120$ for reshipping with probablity 0.2 for option called "FREE INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING"?

So what you're saying is that Bitmain or some other vendor should pay for your 5:1 gamble with customs? That doesn't sound right at all. You gamble, you pay, as another customer I'm not interested in subsidizing that.

No, I want that Bitmain rename "Free Shipping" slogan to something like "Shipping Included".

Some people like me will not buy "Shipping Included", but will buy with "Free Shipping" option

"Free Shipping" means that Bitmain want gamble with all delivery risks.
Bitmain can, because he know some delivery statistics that customers never will have.

"Free Shipping" means that cost of shipping or reshipping for me (not for Bitmain) is zero.

Now Bitmain sends miners with "Free Shipping" and after returning package he ask customers cost of reshipping with unknow value.
Cost of reshipping can be 80% percentage of miner cost. This is very bad situation.

In any case customers should know price of reshipping for "FREE SHIPPING" option before they buy.

Black Friday deal is still on though...

"Free Shipping" means that Bitmain want gamble with all delivery risks.
Bitmain can, because he know some delivery statistics that customers never will have.

It still doesn't sound right. If you know that you're unable to import the product you shouldn't be ordering it. If you think the odds are acceptable and want to take the gamble you should pay for it and not expect Bitmain to cover it, no matter what verbiage they used to describe the shipping options. I don't read "Free Shipping" as implying that vendor assumes all risks, I read it exactly the same as "Shipping included".

But I do agree that they could dislose these caveats better. Is there any T&Cs or other fine print to agree to during the checkout process? I don't remember seeing anything like that.

If Bitmain unable to sell the miners to my country then he shouln't sell it.
I don't have any problems with customs, Bitmain have.
But Bitmain continue to offer gamble game for all customers in my country.
Bitmain knows the probability of custom delaying, customers dont know it. May be 0.2,  may be 0.3?

Bitmain can add price penalty (+0.2 of shipping cost) for my country and make "free reshipment" but Bitmain want customers take the gamble.

Bitmain tell me please reshipment cost for 16 x AntminerS4 ? I want to know.

Anyone know how to SSH into the S4.  Every time I use putty or Winscp, I put in User:root and Password:root, I get a password access denied message on both putty and Winscp.  I'm retty sure root is the default password.

Ok so Bitmain has stopped single sales of S4's , only pallets of 16 left. And the current coupons expire on the 15th.  Maybe they are going to start sales of the S5 on Monday? 1Th  $375-400 750PSU needed is my guess. Any takers?
