1001  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: April 25, 2017, 03:11:54 PM
Oklahoma City Thunder Vs Houston Rockets

Besides Game 1, the results of both teams are decided in a very close margin. Although Rockets are 3-1 up in the playoff, they weren't playing that well and were incredibility lucky that Thunder did not score in the last seconds of the games. Being 3-1 up is actually dangerous in the playoff. It makes the leading team complacent thinking that two losses won't hurt them from advancing. I am going for Thunder +7.5 as I think they would be able to make it close if not win this game.

This match up will like be Golden State Warriors vs Cleveland Cavaliers 2015-16 NBA Finals that Blew a 3-1 lead. Remember? There are in same scenario. I'm still hoping Oklahoma City Thunder will win this series.

They aren't in the same scenario. LBJ had a seriously great supporting cast back then, OKC on the other hand goes -25 when WestBrook is on the bench. The supporting cast just isn't there yet.
1002  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PEERFLY now offers bitcoin payments for its affiliates. on: April 25, 2017, 01:23:04 PM
This is a good news as they are the most rapidly growing aff network for past 2 years.
I own a small site and could try to convert some traffic now.

Did you tried by yourself? If yes, could you please share your experience like conversion rate and payments, based on UK or US traffic (or other Class A countries traffic)?

I'm an affiliate myself, and I'm excited to get my first payment in BTCBTCBTC. It's not that big of an amount still.

Overall PeerFly is an excellent network, never late on payments, and the payouts are competitive. There are many factors that affects conversion rate and this mostly are on the traffic side, so I won't be able to comment on that. You should try them yourself.

I actually cannot open the link you posted to read more information about this amazing development but if i may ask, could this makes peerfly not to request for the W-2 form filling for tax anymore ?
Please check this link http://blog.peerfly.com/2017/04/20/bitcoin-amazon-payments-now-available-peerfly again, because it does not open from my end here.

The link is working on my end, and with regards to the taxes, I'm not from the US so I do not need to bother with that. In my opinion you would still pay the appropriate taxes on your earnings if you're from the US.
1003  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Affiliate programs that payout in Bitcoin? on: April 25, 2017, 01:13:20 PM

PEERFLY, once of the largest, added a BTC payments few days ago.

Here is the topic: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1879902.0

Still, I don't know how you should calculate taxes and so on. Because if you advert Primedice for example, you could hide your commissions. But it won't work with Peerfly.

You don't have to calculate taxes if you're not from the US. In case you are, they have forms in there that can help.
1004  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: April 25, 2017, 12:56:45 PM
What if, instead of Portland Trailblazers in the first round playoffs match up will be the Denver Nuggets vs Golden State Warriors in the 1st round Do you guys think It will sweep too for Warriors? Also with Cleveland Cavaliers vs Chicago Bulls instead of Indiana Pacers?

I guess so, they are playing well for this season and as well as the for the past season and this is for the Dub nation. But for Cleveland Cavaliers, it's a double thought for me, Chicago Bulls is one of the most competitive teams now and I don't think that it will be a sweep from Cavs but well we don't know what is really going to happen.

Denver's style would have been a good match but still insufficient against the warriors, IMO. A sweep will still be likely. I'd like to see them match with a healthy Jazz instead of the Clips now, since Griffin is out entirely.
1005  Economy / Speculation / Re: You'll sell at the bottom on: April 25, 2017, 12:52:29 PM
At $1280 / BTC right now, you'll hardly sell at the bottom.  Grin

These times are just great for cryto and the blockchain.
1006  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitfinex is trading with ATH on: April 24, 2017, 02:40:26 PM
I am not sure about the reasons why bitstamp prices are lagging with bitfinex and preev rates. But interestingly bitfinex prices are just breaking $1350 levels (I believe the previous recorded higher price of bitcoin is $1350 just on the day when winklevoless's etf application got rejected ).

Those wire transfer problems of bitfinex made them isolated from rest of exchanges ? What is actually happening ?

Probably the result of transfer problems still? A fraction probably bought even at a higher price just to get their money out of there.
1007  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: April 24, 2017, 02:37:43 PM
Not a fan of Cavs but whatever things happens in East. Its obvious they are the one that will win the Eastern Conference and enter the Finals vs Spurs or GSW.
Cavaliers has more easier journey in the east, and that they end the series pretty early, they have more rest to fight whoever wins the match up between the bucks and the Raptors. Whatever the outcome, I'm pretty much confident it would be easy for the Cavaliers to beat any team.

There game was easy until 2nd round of play-offs but it is a different story when conference finals occur. Boston is now recovering especially isiah thomas, His game is back again beating bulls on game 3 & 4. Even though cavs has a lot of rest but still it is not a main factor for them to win it is just an advantage. I bet that cavs will not do the sweep thing on boston or on the second round. But the possibility for cavs to get the eastern conference is pretty shiny.
Cavaliers have already proven they can sweep teams in the 2nd round, and east teams are lack of talents compared to the west. I believe their journey is easy so I will beat on the Cavaliers even if the moneyline value is very small though, I pity the Pacers for being swept , I thought they have a decent chance to at least give cavs a fight.
The Pacers are due for a reboot this summer so I didn't expect them to really give the Cavaliers that much trouble. Although the last few games of the series were close, you get a feeling that Lebron and company are still not giving it their all, and they still have some aces up their sleeves. For the Pacers, Paul George might have played his last game as a Pacer as many other teams are going to be pursuing him come offseason and the lure of a championship contender might be hard for him to resist.
You will be surprise if the warriors will take him if they will lose this NBA Finals... hahaha. , that's too much to pay for the
organization but I can say PG13 is improving his game, after seeing the dunk highlights it seems like he getting bank his confidence.

He'll play good but he'll never get back to the PG13 he once was. That injury years back took a permanent toll on him.
1008  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PEERFLY now offers bitcoin payments for its affiliates. on: April 24, 2017, 12:19:00 AM
I don't know how can that help bitcoin in the long term? we don't need more small transactions like faucets dust, what we need is transactions starting at $10 as the smallest one so when you pay $0.5 as a fee it doesn't have any pressure on you and it also doesn't fill up the mempool.

Well if that's the case don't worry, the minimum payout for PeerFly affiliates is $50. Its fees won't be a pressure to anyone.
1009  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC up??? on: April 23, 2017, 11:51:40 PM
I think that the price of bitcoin continue to grow up, cause of expectations about fork and BU didn't come true and people again start to invest in bitcoin without any scares which where based on changings that BU and fork may lead to.

It's stable too. Glad the recent BitFinex fiasco didn't do much of a damage to the market.
1010  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: April 23, 2017, 11:48:21 PM
This is it.

Cleveland Cavaliers sweep Indiana Pacers via 106-102 win. Lebron James and Kyrie Irving combined with 61 points. Kudos to Indiana Pacers. They really gave Cavaliers a nice defense to the last 4 minutes until the end. From double digit lead, Pacers able to get up and bring the score to a close one. What an effort.

With their elmination, I think this will be the last time we can see Paul George at Indiana Pacers wearing their jersey. Stay tuned as he is one of the hotter player on trade rumor next season.

Lakers, probably? They've always been saying that, the Pacers office should match the trade, it's not time for them to rebuild yet.
1011  Economy / Speculation / Re: Digital Currencies Classical Highs on: April 23, 2017, 07:07:19 AM
Aurora coin anyone? People tend to notice that the most when Altcoin prices are discussed.

Yeah, new gimmicks often induce new ATHs for these alts.
1012  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: April 23, 2017, 06:58:51 AM
The game 4 of Memphis and Spurs was very fun to watch. I thought Spurs gonna take the game 4 but it goes to overtime and Marc Gasol make the winning shot.

ya leonard even shoot 2 3's. it would be damn epic if they would win or made another OT. and during the post interview fizdale, was in a tight situation he never expected leonard to do something like that. great clutch performance by leonard but offcourse congrats on gasol for making that winning shot. good playoff series.

Never expected Memphis would even out the series too. The playoff intensity is really heating up.
1013  Economy / Speculation / Re: [UPDATE] $1,200 HITTED (Next goal is $1,300) on: April 22, 2017, 09:02:57 AM
1200 is a solid floor, at least as we can hold that floor. At this moment there is not much buy support to hold it. But give it a few weeks and if the price is still here.
A new floor around this price will be established.

Hopefully the BitFinex fiasco would be resolved immediately, as it's threatening the stability.
1014  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: April 22, 2017, 08:35:56 AM
Superb performance by OKC for game 3, that's what happens when Westbrook plays with teammates, not him doing it all the time.

The Rockets should bounce back on game 4, time for them to close out the series.
1015  Economy / Exchanges / Re: New Bitfinex Statement (April 20, 2017) on: April 21, 2017, 03:46:40 PM
Oh boy, just when the price is reaching another ath, another big exchange gets in trouble.

Should we prepare for a dip?
1016  Economy / Service Discussion / PEERFLY now offers bitcoin payments for its affiliates. on: April 21, 2017, 08:11:49 AM
PeerFly, one of the world's biggest affiliate networks, has just added BTCBTCBTC payments for its affiliates. Honestly, it's about time. Other networks already did.

Good news for us freelancers, no more huge Paypal fees cutting our well deserved money.

1017  Economy / Speculation / Re: New ATH? on: April 21, 2017, 06:41:23 AM
Probably hyped by TaaS. We all know what happens to the price when a popular service/product initially comes into play.
1018  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: April 21, 2017, 06:22:55 AM
You guys are getting your attention to the Cavaliers and Pacers match only when we all know how good the cavaliers are, it is not a surprise for me as elite team can make a rally and win, they have the heart and the talent so it's possible for them.

Let's talk about the Bucks and Raptors matchup, I guess this is surprising also because they young Bucks are taking a lead now with a big win at home.
One talent from The Cavs name "Delly" made a good job in taking care of Lowry which is one of the Stars if not the main star.

I like to hear your reaction on that game,,, please Grin

i was expecting cavs to win but i did not see that comeback coming. lols. i guess the pacers should at least won least the game 4 to avoid 0-4 in their own home court. like the houston the cavs got hot during the 4th quarter. i guess 26 points doesnt guarantee a win in the playoffs huh.

speaking of the bucks as expected they performed great in front of their home court and its rare for them to win a game in the playoffs. im still with the raptors but i hope it would reach game 7. for more experience in the playoffs.

Well the Cavs did get hot, the rockets on the other hand, OKC, or should I say WestBrook just broke down. Too many bad decisions for him.
1019  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will we see $1300 again? on: April 18, 2017, 01:50:28 PM
Overall trend es up. https://www.coingecko.com/en/price_charts/bitcoin/usd should be there before Fall

That is the best case scenario if no shocking news pop up to shake the market again. It happens all the time when we're at a new ath.
1020  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: April 18, 2017, 01:46:10 PM
My picks for tonight games

Toronto Raptors - Milwaukee Bucks, going win Milwaukee
Boston Celtics - Chicago Bulls, going win Boston
Los Angeles Clippers - Utah Jazz, going win Clippers

Bold bet for the bucks, since the Raptors are gonna try and defend their home fiercer.
