1261  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] The Anon virtual VISA card, No personal information needed. on: October 18, 2023, 10:08:55 PM
I am the developer of this project and the owner of the website didn't paid me a single penny. If anybody wants the product please contact me at jonaed.com.bd@gmail.com I'd love to sell the codebase.
What a lowlife scumbag!
It's the worst thing when you do the job you were hired to do, and you don't get paid for it.
Once again my suspicion was right, like I said on September 30:

This looks like another scam like we saw before several times with cards like this, maybe even made by the same people who made PST.NET cards or coinpaycard.net.
Design is similar and domain is recently registered, so I would be very careful before sending any coins to this website.

I hope nobody lost money with this junk, but everyone stay away from this SCAM.
1262  Other / Meta / Re: "You are searching too quickly" on: October 18, 2023, 09:52:51 PM
Why is it that Btalk search bar is slow as molasses? I make one search and the whole system is down for 10 minutes lol
Nobody is using that search for a long time and I think theymos should just remove it, or think of some update imrovement.
I would suggest to use Ninjastic.space website if you want to search something quickly, or search from menu tab in the top left side.
1263  Other / Meta / Re: TalkImg.com - Image hosting for BitcoinTalk on: October 18, 2023, 09:49:21 PM
Therefore, I find it strange that this problem appeared suddenly. I am studying the subject.
I hope you are doing regular backups of your website data and settings, so that you can quickly restore it if something is messed up along the way. Wink
1264  Economy / Collectibles / Re: WTB- TREZOR 3 BITCOIN ONLY WALLET on: October 17, 2023, 10:20:18 PM
By the way, which one did you post about? I collect all types of wallets, and I just store em away. I have almost every edition of Trezor...shame on me for not buying, but I didn't realize it was a limited edition. I am kicking myself in the ass  Tongue
How much are you willing to pay for Trezor Safe 3 BTC edition?
1265  Other / Meta / Re: Local China Subforums - Admin Probably Will Be Arrested And Transfered To China on: October 17, 2023, 10:09:22 PM
There are local China subforums in Bitcointalk and Bitcoin have total ban in China, so forum admin probably will be arrested and transfered to China in future. Possible crime type - Bitcoin promoting for China people. What do you think ?
I think this is stupid, and no admin wont be arrested, it's just your crazy fantasy, there are probably millions of chinese people who live outside China state borders.
Don't you have anything better to do in your life than to write nonsense like this?  Roll Eyes
1266  Other / Meta / Re: TalkImg.com - Image hosting for BitcoinTalk on: October 17, 2023, 10:05:58 PM
I checked, and there is indeed a failure in recognizing images larger than 2MB, causing the upload to fail. I am analyzing what is causing this problem, as everything is configured to be able to upload up to 2.5MB.
Could this be something related with your other tool zip.talkimg.com that is used for reducing image size?
Maybe something is mixed up with main talkimg website settings.
I am usually not uploading larger size images, and it's best to resize them manually to avoid any errors.

1268  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: AirGapped Hardware Wallets on: October 16, 2023, 11:35:20 PM
Any one using Safepal X1.
I am still confused to choose right wallet.
I didn't see a single good review for Safepl X1 yet, so I am guessing it's not very popular, maybe due to fact that older version S1 was insecure closed source peace of shit with stolen modified code.
I wouldn't waste money for Safepal when new Trezor Safe 3 has similar price, and there are several other open source alternatives that are better.
1269  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Trezor Safe 3 New Hardware Wallet on: October 16, 2023, 11:29:46 PM
Its different because BitBox02 and Trezor Safe 3 both storing the seed on the MCU and not on the SE. Passport and Coldcard store the seed on the SE. If I'm wrong please correct me.
Secure elements are usually very simple dumb chips with only one or two functions, but not all secure elements are equal.
I think that Passport, Coldcard, Bitbox, Onekey, Keystone3 and maybe few more hardware wallets, all use the same (or similar) secure element now.

I still scratch a "tin foil hat tingling" at the thought of a secure element lacking full open source observation.  Sure the software is going to remain open source, but a bad actor using a proprietary secure element has options "behind the curtain".  [popcorn]
Optiga Trust M secure element IS open source with MIT license, and it is used for many other devices, not just for Trezor hardware wallet.
1270  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Help for the paranoid - how to transfer from Ledger to Seedsigner? on: October 16, 2023, 11:20:10 PM
Use ledger to transfer bitcoin to the new Seedsigner created private key.
As far as I know seedsigner is generating seed phrase from entropy and not private keys, it's a big difference.
And you are sending coins to newly generated public addresses, not to private keys.
Seedsigner is cool and I like the project, but it's simply not for everyone and you shouldn't expect much from small team of developers.
Code can have bugs and I didn't see any serious security audit of their source code, so I wouldn't use it for managing life saving money.
1271  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Trezor Safe 3 New Hardware Wallet on: October 13, 2023, 09:23:00 AM
Even though it supports Monero and a few other cryptocurrencies that were missing on the Model One, for some reason it doesn't support some of them that were available on the older model [a bit weird]: Dropped list
Nice catch.
I think they are cleaning up code for all devices and they are removing some less popular shitcoins.
I really don't care about eos, bitcoingold, dash, decreed, etc. but for someone this may be more important.

Not to rain on everyone's open source parade, but all the TropicSquare chip will be is a partially open source secure element, with elements of the chip still black-box due to closed source foundry PDKs with foundry NDAs.
I am not sure about TropicSquare chip that should be released in 2025 or 2026, but they are using Infineon Optiga Trust M secure element in new Trezor 3 Safe, and that has MIT open source license.
1272  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Foundation Passport Official Thread on: October 13, 2023, 09:14:12 AM
An email is going out to all of those subscribed to our email list to take a brief survey, but if you purchased Passport and chose not to provide an email (for instance at a conference) please shoot us a message or reply here and we can validate your purchase and share the link directly.
Is this survey with rewards available even for people who didn't purchase Passport wallet directly from you?
I found Passport locally from reseller, and I never subscribed for newsletter... well maybe I will sign up soon with temp email  Cheesy

Thank you as well! We try as much as possible to ensure it's focused on what users need such as security, privacy and features that will help their device last for a long time and support them as they grow such as ease of use, Multisig, USB-C, microSD backups etc but we obviously can't include everything (although our database is extensive!) so we do have to pick and choose things. Please let us know if there's anything major and we can certainly take it under consideration
My suggestion is that you try to be more active in bitcointalk forum, maybe create dedicated topic for your website.
1273  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Secure Element in Hardware Wallets on: October 13, 2023, 09:00:34 AM
Do you anticipate that a secure element from a company that has never been involved in chip development( I mean  SatoshiLabs) could outperform OPTIGA Trust M developed by Infineon, a company with nearly a quarter-century history in this business?
I am not a prophet to know the future.
Satoshi Labs exists for TEN long years, and they are specifically dedicated to hardware wallets and Bitcoin development, so YES I think they can outperform it for use case of cryptocurrency devices.
They will control everything about new Tropic Square chips with direct partnership with manufacturer, so it should work better for hardware wallets.
1274  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Secure Element in Hardware Wallets on: October 13, 2023, 08:03:28 AM
Interesting news coming up in world of secure elements in hardware wallets.
Trezor was announced for some time they are working in their own secure element, but this product is not production ready yet, so they came up with second best solution.

With new Trezor Safe 3 hardware wallet they introduced open source secure element Infineon OPTIGA Trust M!

Infenion is German based chip manufacturer and company was created back in 1999, so they have 24 long history in making microchips and security products.
For me it's important to say that company is based in Europe so it should be easier and faster for Trezor to buy all secure elements they need.

Infineon OPTIGA Trust M has open source code that can be verified on github and it has MIT license:
https://github.com/Infineon/optiga-trust-m

As stated on their website, use cases for this secure elements are  mutual authentication, secured communication, secured updates, key provisioning, life-cycle management, data store protection, power management, platform integrity protection, secured zero-touch provisioning.
Official website is showing more information and details about this product, and it is confirmed to be CC EAL6+ certified security controller :
https://www.infineon.com/cms/en/product/security-smart-card-solutions/optiga-embedded-security-solutions/optiga-trust/optiga-trust-m-sls32aia/

Some other hardware wallet manufacturers previously used secure elements made by Infineon, but none of them used this exact model Infineon OPTIGA Trust M, but please correct me if I am wrong.
Jubiterwallet, HyperMate and Secux all use unknown Infineon chips, Keevo wallet used Infineon Optiga Trust-P, Hashwallet uses Infineon SLE78.

Overall I am happy with changes that Trezor made, and I am still waiting to see their own secure element, but sadly this will have to wait until 2025 or 2026  Tongue

1276  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: hyprmall.com - ecommerce using crypto on: October 12, 2023, 06:36:16 PM
Just to be clear, hyprmall is for both buyers and sellers.
So who is processing and holding customers data including delivery information, you or sellers?

We hope to be something like alibaba / aliexpress / amazon. We would like to facilitate others to sell goods through our platform on a large scale.
We aren't using any third parties for buying/selling.
OK, so you are probably based in China and you are offering similar stuff like aliexpress, but I am more interested in ordering some stuff from Japan.
What is usual delivery time worldwide, and are there any countries you are not working with.
1277  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: 47 Hardware Wallets, compared feature by feature on: October 12, 2023, 06:26:04 PM
Added new Trezor Safe 3 models
Almost identical dimensions like Trezor One Smiley

Are you sure that for Trezor 3 Passphrase entry is on hardware wallet, the same way like on Trezor T?
One member speculated that it remained the same like on Trezor One, that is only via computer or mobile.
I would also want to know what is the status with PIN and seed phrase entry, they are now with question mark.

1278  Other / Meta / Re: Huge site outage! on: October 12, 2023, 06:06:18 PM
It's a good thing that admins were at hand and got the servers back online. But may I ask what was the cause of the outage in the first place?
Maybe they are working on adding new 2FA forum patch, but I am just speculation and hoping for this Wink

I think something strange is also happening with cloudflare, today I got a message that I am in some waiting line and that I have to wait for one minute to continue to website... don't know if this is related or not.

I was online at that time and I was waiting boringly for almost an hour, pressing the refresh button LOL. It was fully down in everywhere.
Crazy!

It's difficult to diagnose, since it happens rarely, and usually when I'm sleeping.
Gremlins attack Wink

Great work once again!
joker_josue and Smartprofit are killing everyone else with their activity  Shocked
Summer is finished now and I am expecting activity to slowly increase in most local boards, shame we are temporary down one member since Daniel is taking a break and he was very active, so everyone else has to take this heavy burden Tongue

I have been partying
You look very good for AItalian of your age. Cheesy
1280  Other / Meta / Re: Ninjastic.space - BitcoinTalk Post/Address archive + API on: October 12, 2023, 05:50:01 PM
I was jiggling it too hard and now I'm just getting a "Something went wrong..." message, when the page can load at all.
I am getting a lot more similar messages on other websites in last few weeks, so maybe it's not just issue with Ninjastic.space.
Using Tor browser different IP address usually works as a quick fix for me.
