Few

No this here cat, neither.... looks like the combination to an old padlock that I might have lost.

Huh I’ll admit it, I’m clueless as to what this means. Worst measurements ever was the first thing that came to mind.

The rally is real though. Back above $37,000 is crazy. I’m starting to feel like FOMO is coming into play here. Maybe my end of the year $40K prediction which seemed incredibly bullish a few months ago is not bullish enough.
1662  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: November 15, 2023, 06:14:21 PM
~snip~

maybe in the future with AI models advancing too things will change
I'm really curious for the next decades
we'll see many interesting things for sure.

any other ideas on how AI may affect the future of betting?

Well, one thing that comes to mind is speed.

Since an AI can process information much faster than the human mind, maybe there would be bets in a faster time-scales than what we can perceive.

Machines are able to uncover things that we can't see, so it's natural to see a progression towards betting on those things as well.

I’m sure it’s only a matter of time before someone creates and AI bot that can sit around making thousands of bets per day and winning at a rate slightly higher than the average gambler. I still don’t think AI can beat the odds over a casino in the long run, but I imagine it could probably bet a massive amount of money with a ton of bets to make gamblers inflate their amount bet numbers like never before.
1663  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 15, 2023, 06:03:48 PM
A couple of good matchups being televised on ESPN tonight. First up you have the Boston Celtics vs the Philadelphia 76ers. Both have an 8-2 record so that will be a good matchup. Then you have the 2 best teams in California right now, the Los Angeles Lakers and the Sacramento Kings facing off. Both should be great games to watch, but I’ll stay away from making any bets.
1664  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 15, 2023, 06:01:01 PM
Observing $36,083.

Not convinced $34,xxx was a local bottom until we retake $37,500.

We need Gensler to approve Spot ETF’s man.

no we don't we need honey badger to do its thing.

It feels like the honey badger has definitely been doing its thing lately. No matter how much the market tries to correct, the price just keeps marching upward. This has got to be funds scooping up coins in anticipation of an ETF approval next month. I don’t think regular folks are doing this much buying as I’ve seen quite a few signs that people are beginning to struggle as the effect of Bidenflation sets in.
1665  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Casinos with Online and Offline version, Are they the same? on: November 15, 2023, 05:50:46 PM
I’ve never heard the term offline casino before. I was wondering how an online casino could have an offline version but it seems as though you’re talking about an actual casino that exists physically. Very weird to refer to it as an offline casino. I think you may be spending a little too much time behind a computer if you refer to normal things in your life as the offline versions.
1666  Other / Politics & Society / Re: In Panama 77y Old Man Schoots 2 Protesters Blocking The Street! on: November 15, 2023, 05:47:29 PM
I think the use of a weapon to murder someone in this way is probably not the ideal solution. The man was a lawyer though so following this case could be interesting. Personally I think if people are going to block public roadways intentionally, it is a danger to the public and the appropriate response would be to drive normally through the roadway and let physics do its thing.
1667  Economy / Reputation / Re: OGNasty good intentions on: November 15, 2023, 05:43:13 PM
I am not trying to be funny or rude, but isn't it easier and better for everyone if you both go different ways from here and try to don't cross paths again? I have no idea about your guys history or what happen, but I know that a person feel so much happier if them focus on happy things instead of negativity things like unnecessary drama. Good luck both of you. 🙏

I thought this was over 2 years ago. No idea why Vod is back on his weird shit. Everyone knows I never stole anything from anyone. There is literally no victim that has ever even claimed I was involved with the loss of a single satoshi. In fact, you can look at my profile and see that I even donated 10 BTC to this forum. Still, he continues to spew his libel. Mental illness is real folks and Vod is a prime example.
1668  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: November 15, 2023, 05:38:14 PM
What’s this I hear about Dana White renting the Las Vegas Sphere sometime late next year for what he’s saying will be the world’s most entertaining fight of all time? Is this a rumor or is it actually going to happen? I can only imagine if they put a UFC fight on the outside of the Sphere that Vegas will be absolutely insane that night like never before.
1669  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: High fees are not bitcoin's destinty on: November 15, 2023, 09:09:33 AM
Paying for block space will always need to be a thing for Bitcoin to survive long term. The cost of that space will likely depend on the value provided. During times of calamity, I could see Bitcoin becoming very expensive to use. Maybe $100 for a transaction. Other times when block space may not be as valuable, it will cost less. This supply and demand bidding will be more and more important as block rewards are reduced.
1670  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: November 15, 2023, 05:19:34 AM
What do you think the over/under is on how many games Draymond Green is going to be suspended for this?

He was just talking smack to Anthony Edwards trying to be a tough guy and now this to Gobert. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if they suspended him for 6-15 games. There’s no place for this behavior in the NBA. Draymond’s career is rapidly coming to a close.
1671  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Make bitcoin "untouchable" for a while on: November 15, 2023, 04:15:13 AM
There are lots of ways to make your BTC not easily accessible. Thats what I would recommend. Make it such a pain in the ass to get to your Bitcoin that you never even want to bother with it. In addition to keeping you from spending it, it’s also nice to know that robbers won’t be able to get their hands on it either.
1672  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 15, 2023, 04:10:42 AM
What a night for MMA, I mean the NBA. First you have Klay Thompson getting his jersey ripped, then Draymond Green chokes Rudy Gobert… As if that weren’t enough, the Lakers game has Anthony Davis throwing people to the ground and clearing the benches. It must be something in their air. Everybody is losing their minds tonight.
1673  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: November 15, 2023, 03:42:54 AM
The Pelicans already lost by double digits last match and it'll require a lot of mistakes for the Mavericks to lose this match when the Pelicans desperately need a player that can put up a crazy performance and stand toe to toe against Irving or Doncic.

For anyone looking to bet on the Warriors, we've got some bad news. Curry's dealing with a knee issue and is marked as questionable. It might be a good idea to stay away of this game or consider betting on the opposing team. The Warriors initially started as the favorites, but now they're at +3. Tough break.
I guess the bookies still respect the Warriors at home that's why the handicap is only +3, but I agree with you it's better to cash out or switch to the Timberwolves when they're the more reliable team.

Of course, I bet the Dallas Mavericks and Luka suddenly had a bad game after playing at an MVP level for weeks. Figures it was the first game of my parlay too. Oh well… I just didn’t expect that one. The Warriors game has turned into a WWE match. It will be interesting to see how long Draymond gets suspended after his choke on Gobert.
1674  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: November 15, 2023, 12:12:48 AM
I like a good parlay today with the Dallas Mavericks beating the Pelicans, Los Angeles Lakers beating the Memphis Grizzlies, the Denver Nuggets beating the Los Angeles Clippers, and the Minnesota Timberwolves beating the Golden State Warriors. The Warriors game probably being the closest game but the Timberwolves have been on fire lately while the Warriors have been struggling and the Timberwolves are a big team, which is the Warriors’ weakness.
1675  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [POLL] Do you eat tacos on Taco Tuesday? on: November 14, 2023, 11:04:59 PM
By request, here’s a picture of 3 tacos that I have just eaten and enjoyed immensely. It came out to $5.84 after taxes, which is a hell of a deal. They’re also available in 3 types, shredded beef, ground beef, or chicken. I’ve never tried the chicken before but maybe next Tuesday. I’m also curious what tacos look like and how much they cost in your country if you wanted to post a similar picture. Smiley

Just to be completely clear on the subject for anyone who might be unaware that you are a habitual liar. I’ve never contacted anyone about you ever, not family, not police, not hospitals, nobody. I don’t care about you at all. You are a mentally ill wacko who is obsessed with me for some unknown reason. I have no fear of you doing anything to me whatsoever and to be completely honest I thought you were dead.
1677  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 14, 2023, 05:57:08 PM
Holy stock rally Batman! I can’t remember the last time my stock portfolio was so green. Definitely feels like a shift has been made in the investment world. A bit curious why Bitcoin hasn’t followed suit and gone up a significant amount today, but I guess after the recent rally the market needed a breather. Still good news that money is flowing back into equities.

There's no correlation anymore. They've been writing about it for months. For instance, here's Coindesk in July:

Quote
Bitcoin's (BTC) fortune is no longer tied to sentiment in the U.S. stock markets. The 90-day rolling correlation of changes in bitcoin's spot price to changes in Wall Street's tech-heavy equity index, Nasdaq, and the broader index, S&P 500, has declined to near zero

thestreet.com, 2 weeks ago

Quote
Despite being a fundamentally decentralized asset, the bitcoin price historically tracks with traditional assets. But its recent decoupling from the S&P 500 could signal a changing outlook from mainstream investors. (...) TheStreetCrypto’s George Tung reported in the video above. “In 2023 … there’s 0% correlation… That’s because we have this flight to quality. A lot of people are paying attention and not happy about what’s going on with inflation, with printing, with debt, with everything else that’s going on. And plus, people are not oblivious to the fact that institutions are jumping into the space and about to pump bitcoin.”

No correlation is a pipe dream. Obviously investments are related to some extent, but Bitcoin’s low market cap has always rallied significantly harder as price discovery is being reached. Those thinking this market will be less correlated in the future than the past, I have some bad news for you in relation to the coming spot ETF funds…
1678  Economy / Goods / Re: ~ Buying a TESLA CYBERTRUCK with BITCOIN ~ on: November 14, 2023, 05:21:23 PM
Oh no! Tesla appears to have removed all language in the agreement saying that you can’t resell your Cybertruck within a year or face a $50,000 fine. Thats sort of a bummer to me. I was really hoping this would cause some cancellations of preorders ahead of me in line. Link to the new full agreement below.

1679  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: sites with bonuses without deposit on: November 14, 2023, 05:07:59 PM
I would agree with others that free bonuses and bets aren’t important when choosing a gambling site. The most important and possibly only important thing is the reputation of a casino. Who cares what free bets you get if they disappear when you go to withdraw your funds. Always choose the most reputable service providers over all else.
1680  Economy / Reputation / Re: OGNasty good intentions on: November 14, 2023, 05:03:43 PM
Nobody cares dude. Get a life.

Someone cares.  Was it you or Theymos that contacted the federal agent in Arizona?

Not me. If you think I’ve spent two seconds caring about you outside of calling you a mentally ill idiot on these forums then you are mistaken.  Stop trying to make it sound like anyone cares about you. Most likely you contacted the agency and they told you to fuck off with your insanity like everyone else.
