901  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Finding optimal -dcri value for Claymore ETH Mining on: March 07, 2018, 06:37:37 PM
If you are only mining ETH then the dcri value is null as its used to balance DUAL mining between ETH and a second coin.
902  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Riser extension cables USB 3.0 on: March 07, 2018, 03:38:53 PM
Could be the cable is too long and the signal has deteriorated so the signal doesnt even make it to the mobo. At 6ft extensions thats alot for a 5v usb signal to travel   OR they arent shielded and need to be.
903  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [H]0.025btc [W] Paypal @ preev +2% on: March 04, 2018, 05:35:11 PM

What are your OC settings on the cards?
905  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Have BTC : want Paypal @ 25% on: March 04, 2018, 04:11:45 PM
So just to clear somethjng up. Are you selling btc at 25% of its value or asking for 125% of the btc value (e.g. an additional 25%)?

Seriously?

Yea. To me it reads like he is selling at 25% OF preev rate. So a 75% discount.  Cheesy
906  Economy / Currency exchange / [H]0.025btc [W] Paypal @ preev +2% on: March 04, 2018, 03:42:53 PM
I currently have 0.025btc to sell. Im after paypal from a trusted member. No newbies. You must have feedback of similar transactions within the past 1-2months. I will not send first under any circumstances. My feedback should speak for itself as to how trustworthy I am. Also the 2% is just to cover some of the coinbase fees not for profit.

Thanks.
907  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTS: Paypal USD for GBP Transfer on: March 04, 2018, 03:32:28 PM
So you want to send someone $1500 paypal and want a bank transfer in return?

909  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: m.2 pcie riser for Asus z370-a question on: March 04, 2018, 03:28:16 PM
Although I haven't got a 370 board up and running yet (one AMD board waiting for a psu at the moment), I have got an m.2 adaptor working on my Z270 board. Its using a Lattcure M.2 adaptor. It provides a 1x pcie slot just like the mobos use and its working great. Doesnt need the external power attached either. I will be using them on my X370 build soon and can report back how it goes. But the Lattcure ones are definitely great quality.
910  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PC with Claymore reboot during night. Almost equal time every night on: February 23, 2018, 03:37:03 PM
As already said turn windows update off. I managed to find out how to change the registry to stop it updating by itself and my rig has been stable for over 300hours before i switched it off to dust the other day.
911  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Can you power two 6pin risers with one cable directly from psu on: February 17, 2018, 01:55:49 PM
I currently use 3x6pin cables to power 6 risers via 6pin connectors. So yes its fine. Aslong as the cable gauge is a suitable wuality.

913  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: MSI GTX 1070 Aero 8G unequal hashrate on: February 16, 2018, 09:06:58 PM
Switch to 388.13 drivers and see how you get on. Found them the most stable at the moment for my 1070tis

Where abouts in the UK are you?
915  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Server PSU breakout board and autostart on: February 14, 2018, 07:56:26 PM
I'm using a Y splitter IEC to when I flick the switch at the wall everything turns on.

I hope you arent overloading the socket or electrical circuit. Also I hope the Y Splitter has a decent gauge cable to take the load.

What about Awesome Miner?
917  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Server PSU mounting on Open Air Rig on: February 06, 2018, 06:53:09 PM
I might just zip tie it.  I'm running the HP 1200w on 120v and it powers 4 of my 6 GPUs, it gets warm to the touch.  I think if I ran it on 240 it would run cooler, I'm looking into that as a project for this summer.

Those parallel miner rigs are super clean.

Thats exactly why ive built two similar. I use a decent heatsink and some thermal pads zip tied to the psu to help with the heat and stop the fan spinning up too often.
918  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Server PSU mounting on Open Air Rig on: February 05, 2018, 11:11:22 AM
Checkout parallel miners (google their website) and look at there 6.1 gpu frame. Ive built one very similar as it has a decent mounting for server psu and atx at the same time (if needed). A zip/cable tie is always worthwhile for a bit of security too  Wink
919  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins Mining UK (Limited Company/Self Employer and Tax) on: February 05, 2018, 11:09:33 AM
Coinbase will deposit into a uk bank account once you are verified. You would really need to speak to an accuntant as said as (I believe) if it over a certain amount of earnings then it is deemed income and thus subject to being taxed at the applicable rate. If you have a gaming rig with a couple of cards and earn a few quid then I probably wouldnt worry too much.
920  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Can I overclock if temp is constant??? on: February 04, 2018, 08:29:30 AM
i dont care what anybody says, i always keep my cards under 62C. remember, its more important to take hot air off than put cold air on your rig.

I have to agree. I keep my gpus at around the 60c mark. Ambient is around 19-21c which is maintained by the gpus themselves  Grin
