If RMA is too diffcult how about selling the badly performing cards for some BTC and order new ones when (if.. ) they become available? I'm not sure but I'd think there are many buyers for those.
Edit: Disclaimer: I'm not trying to justify the bad CS, just throwing an idea.

Got problems too. Firmware has not fix error => 3/4 cores working, 1/4 dead.
Have you called KNC? I know O'rama says that no customer support emails get ignored, but I've found it the case that they don't all get replied to - at least not in a timely manner. I don't want an RMA at this time --> Mining Time loose. (Saturn)

Same here. Still trying to get an RMA.
What does trying mean? Have you contacted them via email or phone? Are they refusing an RMA? Asking for screenshots? As someone who went through this issue, I had to email several times, send screenshots and follow up with calls during Stockholm business hours. I have an RMA number generated it seems but I have yet to get instructions on packing/shipping. This is day 2 of no info. Not upset yet, just waiting. I PMed you the address where to send it. Once you have an RMA, just send it off, track it and call them once you see that they signed for it.

Just for kicks, have you tried it with 1 card disconnected to see what speeds you get? I got better speeds with a bad card removed than with 1 card running on my first Jupiter. And bitcoinorama - if you are reading this, here is the reason that KNC needs to improve the RMA policy. It hurts us to send semi-defective equipment back until much much later when the equipment is mining fewer BTC per day. It's better for KNC to wait until orders have slowed down dramatically, I'm sure, but it's not better for the customer.

I'd love a couple extra modules for my Saturn, but I also would be very hesitant to order fro KNC in thinking I would be getting repaired or sub-standard parts for a premium price. The last thing I want to buy new is an already fixed/repaired module. A buying customer deserves new %100 working electronics, don't they? The thing is, I don't trust them anymore....to spend thousands again.

Used equipment that has been repaired means that it won't likely break in again - remember that 90% of the problems happen in the first few days of operation. Also, if KNC really does ship you a defective item you can always rely on your credit card company to back you up. Personally, as long as the price is right, I'd order extra parts for a Saturn or Mercury.

The good news is that november Jupiter and Saturn's are no longer available.
According to the website.
Seems like they were able to reuse chips from RMA'd boards ? (Kidding) Coz there are 49 Jupiters available right now...let's see how long it takes until they are gone after this post

Got my reseller ID just 10days ago when this idea came to my mind. As it seems like a win-win for both of us - the buyer and me, I'm going for it.
Until now I just told some guys I know about this opportunity, this is the very first public offering..

Ever since the last diff change, block creation has actually been below target. I can't remember the last time I saw that...
I know MBP is shipping some Bitfury hashpower, but it seems no one else is shipping much. Maybe we will actually get a much smaller diff increase on the next readjustment. That would be a nice change for once in a long while.

Yup. So much money is tied up in delayed preorders. Maybe we'll be lucky and Novement will only be +100% difficulty over October.

... and with Christmas just around the corner, I'm hoping people will be too busy being Jolly rather than shipping new units. Of course if you've ordered a unit for shipping in December, I hope you get your unit(s), but... you know

With the out of control prices for BTC lately, it seems like Jupiters are actually a decent price if u have BTC to spend. $5k (then -10% for BTC discount) so the cost is around 13-15 BTC depending on exchange rate. Do you think a Jupiter will mine more than 15 coins??? I would think so, especially with the Hashfast delays, cointerra delays, Alydian going under, no Gen2 Avalon, and who cares about BFL.
Some say the price is too high, it doesn't appear to be high when you lay the facts out.

I agree, but I need to pay 25% vat on top. Still is good price though.

I agree, but I need to pay 25% vat on top. Still is good price though. I assume if u do hosting, you wouldn't need to pay vat? Remove VAT and power supply and the extra security of knowing if a board dies they replace it within a day, makes hosting an ok choice too. I was waiting to see if they release a Hosted Jupiter( S) which would have 6 boards and run at 750 Ghs.
