Each and every trade got a risk factor. But I think the bitcoin is still a new concept to some parts of the world. That is, it has a room for growing. So you can always expect a good return. But it can go down in price for a short term of period. If you can control that panic situation then you will get a good profit.
When trading is considered to be a part of the investment then the risk involved is quiet high as well gives bigger profit based on the users knowledge base in trading. Secondly every form of investment has got risks, with bitcoin the risk is little high which is due to the fluctuating nature as well very few trusted platforms are available for investment. I prefer doing a small risk, small profit rather than high risk, high profit. Anyway, trading on the other hand is risky but with enough knowledge to deal with the risks and lowering it can bring you a lot of profit. It requires your time and effort to become good at it since if you trade without learning essential things to lesses the risks then most likely you will lose Bitcoins rather than profit from it. Yes if uou go on trading we are all know that its to risky becuase you didnt predict that the value of bitcoin will go increase or go down . so for me now im just study to learn all about trading for someday i will get a lot of profit. |

I just wanted to know that,what amount of risk is there in investing in bitcoins.
Right now i am planning to buy btc approx 3-4 btc and just hold them as i guess the price of bitcoin will increase in future and i will get some good profit.But i want to know what is the risk involved.Can bitcoin price decrease and is this right time to buy the bitcoin.
Low risk if you know what is bitcoin. I think bitcoin will going up 1year from now because of high demand. But its up to you invest in your own risk. |

There is no risk, if you keep your bitcoin in the wallet and forget about it for the next few years  but if you are holding bitcoin and are very diligent about price in the market, it is very risky because if you see bitcoin prices in the market is down feared you would panic sell  |

well bitcoin price is very volatile if we see in short period but when you see in long period it will increase over time, buying 3-4 btc right know maybe good idea for you |

Absolutely, Investing in a Bitcoin and sitting on it is still good but there are many other ways you can make good profit on your bitcoin. Only risk is that, no one knows the future of Bitcoin. If government declares it as a illegal currency, then the value of BitCoin will become zero or may come down very drastically. Also, no one can predict Bitcoin will grow very high and increasing day by day. Risk is involved in any kind of investment. In fact, you might know one of the most basics rule of investments: High risk, High return.

Bitcoin Investment is less risky as compared to any other investment but risk is always present in investment.
We can see bitcoin value is not stable it can increase by 20%/day or 20 % decrease per day. Fluctuation always be there.

In my opinion, the short term risk in bitcoin investment is much less than all other type I mentioned above.
