Hey, this is the 5th largest pool. I don't think we are doomed yet I hear you. But 7TH really isn't a lot. You watch and see, if the difficulty keeps increasing in leaps and bounds, variance here is going to get real bad if we don't get more HP. M 30 TH coming between now and september. We will be fine

Bitcoin addresses contain a checksum, so it is very unlikely that mistyping an address will cause you to lose money.

Hoo boy...what is this shit? Have issues frequently since last night. My miner always switches back to low clock after he couldn´t contact the pool. Hope the guys from BitMinter fix that issues soon, otherwhise I could start thinking about to change pool. Do you have a local stratum server running on your network or are you using the mints? Local stratum servers work best with the blades, maybe this will help with you clock problem. I run a stratum locally and dont have the problem and my blades are always busy running at 13 g\hash.

Any advice on NMC?
I don't really know what to do with them. Hold long term? Hold before they go up (how much)? Just instantly sell them?

I sit on mine, but I do plan to sell them eventually. My thinking on them is that their value is somewhat loosely correlated to the value of bitcoin, so if I'm long-term bullish on bitcoin I should be long-term bullish on namecoin. I do realize the flaw in the argument, though... If they gradually lose value against bitcoin, it would be better to exchange them for bitcoin right away and sit on that instead.

haha NMC lost 100% in value in less than a month from 0.009-0.01 to 0.004-0.005 and with ASICs mining them for free and dumping asap it is going to drop in value even more.

I'm not sure but you're probably wrong there. A 100% loss in value would be 0.000 btc / nmc

For those wondering if CloudHashing is getting ASICs from other places than BFL, the second banner in the rotation at https://www.kncminer.com/ can be interesting.

For those wondering if CloudHashing is getting ASICs from other places than BFL, the second banner in the rotation at https://www.kncminer.com/ can be interesting. So it looks like September earliest for them, hopefully they don't pull a BFL and actually ship on time. So it looks like cloudhashing is a bit of a ways out still. The longer they take to get to market the happier I am as a miner because those are some serious numbers.

I'm probably doing this. Any place where I can check historical price of NMC?
