Good to have a discussion on hubs. I wish those selling USB mining sticks would inform the buyers better about how to run multiple sticks. I'm getting a ton of support requests. I'm asking some of them to ask their questions here because I have no hands-on experience with the issue myself.

By the way, I can't reply to those who mistype their email address or use an anti-spam service that require me to type in things I don't know. If you didn't get a reply then try again and make sure you avoid those two issues.

Strangely my fury device runs perfectly on both my windows 7 and os x maverick machines. Haven't tried on Linux yet.

I'm not sure what the problem is.

Also, on Windows, it is a good practice to clean up in the device list if you move your hubs and sticks around:

Yes, just like believing luck influences mining earnings. Over a long enough time period it statistically evens out. Fees and reliability are what influences earnings and Bitminter a great pool for both. That's why I stay here through the occasional "bad" day. Actually the best advice is not to look at the blocks page, set an auto payout and forget about it.

I fully agree, which is why I stayed. And if you do decide to look at the blocks page (it makes things more fun imo), you'll see that things have turned around in the short term, for me at least. But yes, I originally picked Bitminter because of their low fees and reputation for reliability. I also dig their live stats page.

It will be included very soon, the input is large (25 BTC), so it's priority rises very fast. It's stuck because there's a sort of congestion in the network.

The bulk of the network hashrate is generated by pools; you'd have to convince at least one pool operator to 'manually' add that transaction in.

While your idea is sound in theory, I'm not sure many operators would expend the effort for $3. After all, most are already getting 0.25 to 0.5 BTC per solved block simply through their regular pool fees with no effort on their part; an extra 0.01 BTC seems insignificant compared to that.

Just be patient; it will be included sooner or later; the longer it sits in 'limbo', the higher its priority gets. Eventually someone will include it even though there is no fee in there. By the time you contact someone and persuade them to include it in a future block, it will likely have already been confirmed.
