Take it easy, this is supposed to be the civilized part of the forum.
Good to have a discussion on hubs. I wish those selling USB mining sticks would inform the buyers better about how to run multiple sticks. I'm getting a ton of support requests. I'm asking some of them to ask their questions here because I have no hands-on experience with the issue myself.
By the way, I can't reply to those who mistype their email address or use an anti-spam service that require me to type in things I don't know. If you didn't get a reply then try again and make sure you avoid those two issues.
thanks doc. henchman24 had a point about too many photos so there are now 3 not 5. btw any luck on getting the red/blue fury beta program working. I get the same errors as the other posters on multiple machines and multiple hubs

Strangely my fury device runs perfectly on both my windows 7 and os x maverick machines. Haven't tried on Linux yet. I'm not sure what the problem is.

DrHaribo, somewhere recently I thought I saw you post a link to the top miners on bitminter - but I can't find this link anywhere from the bitminter website. Would you mind sharing it again?

I finally setup 3x 49 port hubs each one has about 40 -42 sticks

Why are you shitting up the BitMinter pool thread with this off-topic bullshit? FFS! This is not the place for it, you attention-starved dimwit!! Keep your huge fucking pictures in the "Pictures of your Rig" thread, idiot. While I agree that that post was somewhat off-topic, your language and stance, Henchman24, is not socially acceptable. Please be so kind as to use a more moderated form of language in your future posts. In general, be friendlier. philipma1957, you are welcome to move your post to my topic discussing all the hub/USB related stuff: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=253749.0 (It is also mentioned there that RPi has a 49-device limit). You're right, of course. I apologize for the language and tone. It's just a pet peeve of mine. Strikes the same nerve as the loudmouth that thinks everyone wants to hear his conversation.

Did those of you that have issues try running the sticks one by one without any hubs using different clients to eliminate possible faulty BF sticks? Also, on Windows, it is a good practice to clean up in the device list if you move your hubs and sticks around: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=300638.0

Thinking past luck influences future luck is called gambler's fallacy. It does not work.
Yes, just like believing luck influences mining earnings. Over a long enough time period it statistically evens out. Fees and reliability are what influences earnings and Bitminter a great pool for both. That's why I stay here through the occasional "bad" day. Actually the best advice is not to look at the blocks page, set an auto payout and forget about it. I fully agree, which is why I stayed. And if you do decide to look at the blocks page (it makes things more fun imo), you'll see that things have turned around in the short term, for me at least. But yes, I originally picked Bitminter because of their low fees and reputation for reliability. I also dig their live stats page.

We need some more hash power.
The Bitminter hashrate is falling behind the BTC/USD exchange rate.

Well I keep ordering it - eventually some of it is sure to actually arrive.

I should be mining 2.4Ghs here soon.

That transaction contains no fees, so it is considered low-priority by the network. It will eventually be confirmed.

I realize that rewriting the blockchain is out of the question, but say, offering a 10mBTC for processing it via an escrow service ? First miner to include it in an accepted block takes the reward ?

It will be included very soon, the input is large (25 BTC), so it's priority rises very fast. It's stuck because there's a sort of congestion in the network. Don't worry.

Hmmm. Interesting. I realize that rewriting the blockchain is out of the question, but say, offering a 10mBTC for processing it via an escrow service ? First miner to include it in an accepted block takes the reward ? The bulk of the network hashrate is generated by pools; you'd have to convince at least one pool operator to 'manually' add that transaction in. While your idea is sound in theory, I'm not sure many operators would expend the effort for $3. After all, most are already getting 0.25 to 0.5 BTC per solved block simply through their regular pool fees with no effort on their part; an extra 0.01 BTC seems insignificant compared to that. Just be patient; it will be included sooner or later; the longer it sits in 'limbo', the higher its priority gets. Eventually someone will include it even though there is no fee in there. By the time you contact someone and persuade them to include it in a future block, it will likely have already been confirmed.
