Self-Custody is a right. Say no to"Non-custodial"

I would think that theymos would be able to intervene in the merit system in such a way to perhaps cause some smerit spending incentives, at least incentives that merit sources are spending a large majority of their merits every 30 days, and therefore, the trend should be able to gravitate towards the supra 5k per week distribution arena, perhaps? Merit sources in themselves appear to have about 4.6k merits per week to distribute, but there might be several merit sources that are not distributing their source smerits, and perhaps theymos might reconsider their merit source status or at least the quantity of their source, if they are not willing or able to spend their source smerits in 30 days... The other aspect that could cause the spending of smerits per week to gravitate up (or to stablize), and a bit higher than you suggest, coinlocket$, is that theymos could also decide to increase the quantity of source smerits - which he already suggested was in his tentative plans at the time that he implemented the merit system, even though he might be disinclined to rush into such changes without assessing how what is already is in place is playing out in terms of sources spending their smerits and then the inclinations of merit recipient to spend a portion of their smerits too (including the ongoing reservoir of initially distributed smerits that may still constitute a pretty decent sized number of unspent smerits). By the way, regarding the initial distribution, there may be some members who have not really learned about the merit system, and I have actually seen some posts from some members who seem to think that a post must be eligible for a nobel prize before they will part with their smerits.. hahahhahha Perhaps some of the thinking will lighten up a bit regarding what some individuals perceive is required before they send out some of their smerit love.

1) Self-Custody is a right. There is no such thing as "non-custodial" or "un-hosted." 2) ESG, KYC & AML are attack-vectors on Bitcoin to be avoided or minimized. 3) How much alt (shit)coin diversification is necessary? if you are into Bitcoin, then 0%......if you cannot control your gambling, then perhaps limit your alt(shit)coin exposure to less than 10% of your bitcoin size...Put BTC here: bc1q49wt0ddnj07wzzp6z7affw9ven7fztyhevqu9k

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

This is actually evolving better than I thought, my impression was that in the last 2-3 weeks much less sMerits were distributed as in late April (maybe new merit sources have been activated in sub-forums I don't visit frequently). It seems even having stabilized a bit. Ideally the sMerit usage should increase again to the levels at the beginning, and then slowly grow. So I agree with JayJuanGee's comment that it would be a good idea to increase source merits. For another interesting measure: Is a one-click +1 button technically impossible? It seems so obvious that such a feature would increase sMerit distribution that I am surprised to not having seen any discussion about such a feature lately after the two-click script was published. (I however haven't followed the whole thread as it has become a bit long). This, and some merit sources more, in the current situation should be enough to increase the sMerit distribution level to the 7-9K of the first weeks.

Hi guys, I have heard that in future there can be bans of people who doesn't have merit at all, I have 100, but I did not earn it, it was given me because I was Full member at the time, If I do not earn merit at all, will there be any sanctions applied to my profile? Or it is just a rumor? I gave you 1 merit point this is my alt account

Of I guess it is maybe ok until someone reports you to moderator and you get banned for this?

Are we going to see February levels, soon? Or are we in a bear merit market ? Can't stop looking at that graph and thinking of the price I'm wondering about a thing, as I'm not the tech guy that is familiar with this stuff. Since a lot of tracking is focused on the merit people get, shouldn't we look just for a moment at those that don't get any? One thing I'm curios about and I really didn't know who to ask about, can we have also a top of users active since the merit system that haven't received a single merit, ordered by the number of posts? The hall of shame spam bounty. And another, most users speak about increasing merit sources, incentivizing users to spend merit in order to raise the numbers of circulation merit but...are there really 5000 or 10 000 posts that deserve merit created a month? This is starting to sound like fiat problems, what if we produce and throw around too much?

A signature campaign results in a payment/bounty, so per your first point, it shouldn't be okay. Also, generally signature campaigns managers specify that enrolling with more than one account isn't allowed. I thought that it is strictly prohibited. Of I guess it is maybe ok until someone reports you to moderator and you get banned for this?
It's not. Here is a thread with known alts: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1702409. You can see that a lot of users have known alts that neither have negative trust nor have been banned.

I like this new system, as I prefer quality over quantity. It just seems like there are no merits in my local thread yet Undecided I guess there aren't a lot of high ranking members there that are regular There they would be extra useful as those posts generally don't count for signature campaigns even if they are high quality. This way there would be some reward for posting high quality posts in local threads.
I am not sure if I would be eligible to be a "source" of merit points that I can bring to my local thread as I have only been here for few months and I don't want to be greedy.

Please stop talking non-sense. Lots of merit beggars wrote like this. I like this new system, as I prefer quality over quantity.
English broken at some extent. Next time, you should compose your threads with better writen-English. It just seems like there are no merits in my local thread yet Undecided I guess there aren't a lot of high ranking members there that are regular There they would be extra useful as those posts generally don't count for signature campaigns even if they are high quality.
The fact is merit-deserved threads will earn merits whatever threads published. This way there would be some reward for posting high quality posts in local threads.
What are your main purposes to be a merit source in your local thread, honestly? Another point is that local boards are amongst the most abused places in the forum, including account sellings, merit exchanges, etc. I am not sure if I would be eligible to be a "source" of merit points that I can bring to my local thread as I have only been here for few months and I don't want to be greedy.

Firstly, your thread was written with broken-, fake-English, so it makes non-sense. Secondly, if you felt 'hard problems' with merit system, you should simply leave the forum and find other places which don't have systems as merit system in the forum. Please stop it and spend your time to learn English if you want to stay in the forum.

To be honest I was a bit disappointed when I at last got my activity level high enough to be a member but then they had just added this merit system so now it will take more time to at least become a member. How can I actually get more merit? I just think Jr. members or newbies who post in the threads will just be ignored. Who would listen to Low rank anyways.

The fact is you joined the forum in 13rd of February, about one month after the launch day of merit system. Therefore, I don't see you have reasons to complain about the system. In my opinion, only old users who unfortunately stucked at their ranks due to effects of merit system and new rank requirements, particularly someone who need only 1, 2 or several more days to ranked up with activity count So, why did you dissapointed, fella? To be honest I was a bit disappointed when I at last got my activity level high enough to be a member but then they had just added this merit system so now it will take more time to at least become a member.
What you should do is keep posting such your last thread, then over time, you will get answers by yourself. How can I actually get more merit?
Only deserved threads will earn merits. Please remember this important point. I just think Jr. members or newbies who post in the threads will just be ignored. Who would listen to Low rank anyways.
Bonus:There are abundant available topics on merit system. You should find them by yourself. For my current topics, you can visit there to get them: tbct_mt2's Guideline on some forum functions, English texbooksThose topics are not directly related to merit system, but apply those knowledge, skills, tips can help you to be more constructive in the forum. After that, What must be, must be!

With such broken-English, you will never earn more than 10 legally merits. Yeah, you will certainly not rank up to Full Member. It will never happen, and should not happen.
