I have deposited funds two times. One showes as "on hold" and the other one didnt appear yet.

Whats going on?? Why is it taking so long this time and what does "on hold" mean???

I have escalated the matter immediately after your reply, but still NOTHING from Kraken. We are going into the 4th week that my account is locked. The description on your website on how to unlock an account by using 2FA and changing the password does nothing and is not accurate at all. Annoyance is building up to a boiling point.

Noob to this whole think and with being from the uk i had to use kraken to buy Ripple.

Luckily i got tier 3 verification within a week :-)

i transfered some Euros via SEPA and it shows in deposits and this is where im getting worried. it within the allowance for tier 2 but i also have sent another deposit and worried something is going wrong.

Unfortunately, some of our clients are receiving that error message and what some have reported success with is opening a new account with a new username and email address. It seems like it. Their blog says they will make another attempt in the next few days, and the status page says the website still has degraded performance.

Kraken promises a big upgrade of its trading engine, without saying anything (new feature/back of advanced orders).
The website always promises the best encryption exchange site with advanced orders ....

Promise for the first week of December...
Then the 11/12/2017 by their ceo.....
Then the 24/12/2017 which finally will receive only a few small patches, with promise for next weekend (i. e. 24+7=31/12).
31/12: nothing... not in the facts, not in the announcements....
6/1/2018 announcement of the update.... postponed to 7/1..........
7/1/2018 announcement of the update... postponed to no date....

All this time (August 2017) to today:
Kraken has communicated very little,
has left open registrations degrading the quality of service until it becomes unusable....
Blocked account checks, leaving people registering but without checking in the inability to use the kraken service...
Did not warn users of marging trading nor closed this feature due to their degradation of service and therefore the consequent increase in risk implied by their fault....

so, from august 2017 kraken sell service they know they can"t serve

For all these reasons, we, a customer of the kraken company, demand compensation for the genes involved.
Claim for compensation made so that the Kraken Company understands and accepts responsibility for its communications to its customers, and for its decisions (continue to enroll new customers while knowing full well that it is unable to provide the service it sells)

Thanks for the update @Kraken-Septimus, i have done as you have requested. There is suppose to be another bank tranfer deposited with kraken that is not showing made over a week ago.

If the transfer does not show and the other transfer not relesed from being onhold by middle of this week i will be forced to contact my bank to reverse the deposit.

I really really dont want to have to do this however the lack of support for such matters is deeply concerning. This is peoples money you are playing with and you shouldnt be taking liberties with it. Karaken should not be letting people register if they cannot administer the accounts. Other exchanges have been doing so and atleast you know where you stand with them .

Kraken-Septimus thank you for replying, i know this is not your fault and you have done everything in your power so thank you for this. You have been a great help :-)

Funds were sent on 15th December. Victoria confirmed receipt of funds on 21st December.

Just open an account elsewhere.

I had the same issue after being approved for tier 2, I could not even fund the account with any crypto.
After 2 weeks they did not even answer to my mail.
Once I have found out that many people have the same problem, I could not bother to to go back to their website, which sometimes you cannot even access..
Can you believe the feeling you would have, if you are holding few hundreds Ks in that place?
Even if you look at their basic Wordpress site.... 40$ template job. The trading interface looks like a joke.
I wanted to work with them because the carry Ripple, but after I have seen they had it at Bitfinex, that was a no brainer.

I have opened accounts with Bitfinex, Cryptopia and Coinbase and been able to do what I needed to do in no time.

If you want to cash out Euro or USD for a low fee, just send LTC or ETH to Coinbase, exchange them to USD or EUR for a low fee and wire them to your bank for less tha 2.50 $, Euro SEPA wires are 57 cents...
Really a no brainer.

Forget the Kraken clowns.
I mean, their CEO got a pony tail. It is 2018... not 1988...

I already used the escalation procedure to speed things up, TWICE, but I'm under a pile of 1000 other requests I guess. Why cant't they give priority to people who can't enter their existing account and face loosing their money? I've got 4500€ in there! When can I access it Huh I'm freaking out if I get another message to escalate my ticket once again!

HI, Im not able to access Kraken anymore for some reason. Always shows "error 520". Is this due to heavily overloaded servers? Was wondering if someone else is experiencing the same issue. As I still have a lot of fiat there that I want to make use of now, this is kind of worrysome.
By the way, great to see that the kraken team is active here on the forum and helping people with their issues. Keep it up!

EDIT: I now managed to log into my account!

But when trying to withdraw some of my Euros to my bank account it says that the service is temporarily unavailible. Can you tell me whats the reason for that? Its kind of worrysome as I always thought of Kraken as one of the exchanges where this service works.
Im verified and all by the way.

Would be very happy to see a response from the Kraken team!

Hi Bribed and der_meister. The Error 520 is a connectivity issue. Our developers are working towards a solution, but as of right now this can still happen intermittently.

The issue where you see that you need a higher Tier in order to deposit/withdraw is actually a trading engine issue. We were launching the trading engine on the 6th but ran into some obstacles. You can read more about this here. For the time being, we would suggest waiting a moment and refreshing the page.
