Indians had their fun in the first 2 test match where they dominated the England most of the time, call it bad luck that 1st test went into draw. Series is 1-1 but now momentum is with the English team, they made a excellent comeback in this series. Having said that i won't rule out Indian team yet, they are good side and got every ingredient to become one of the best touring team. Hope Koach doesn't $uck up with the selection.

OK.. two hours to go for the start of the 4th match, fingers crossed. The last thing I want at this point is a rain interruption. And fortunately, the weather prediction looks good with less than 10% chance of precipitation. Just a few hours ago, Bharat Arun came up with a controversial statement that the selectors erred by not picking Ashwin. I guess his time as the bowling coach is up, and now he feels more liberated to make such comments. But the fact is that Ashiwn, at this moment is the no.2 ranked test bowler as per the ICC.

No Ashwin again!! Lord Thakur - Umesh Yadav duo are in and Ishant-Shami rested due to niggle ha! On the other hand 40 yo Jimmy running around like a 20 yo.

Hope this doesn't bite back India on day 2-3 and really hoping that this 4 seam + 1 spin combination works this time.

Atm conditions are excellent for bowling so our openers need to be very careful again.

Like the previous Test match, this match will be a terrible batting disaster for them unless Virat Kohli fails to play a big inning today. India scored 127 runs in 52 overs. And they lost 6 wickets. Virat Kohli was out for 50 runs. He played quite well compared to other players. My guess is that India will lose all their wickets before 180 runs. Rishab Pant and Shardul Thakur are now at the crease.

Rishab Pant just got out and went back to the dressing room. His wicket was taken by Chris Woakes. The bowling of Woakes and Robinson fascinated me. Ollie Robinson has bowled 16 overs, including 9 maiden overs, he has taken 2 wickets. Woakes took 6 maiden overs in 11 overs, and took 3 wickets.

This England tour is going to end at least 1 career in batting department. Batters needed to see off tough time at the start but they can't catch a break after their last lost. Now sun is up and pitch looking good to bat. Lord Thakur doing his thingy again and adding valuable runs for the team, hope he bats for at least 10 more overs. If it happens then extra 50-60 runs could come handy.

Didn't expect Kohli to bring in Thakur, but it was clearly a great decision since he performed better than literally every other Indian batsman which is embarassing. Kohli was the only other decent performer.

If India can get Root out early, they still have a great chance at winning this match in my opinion. All eyes are on the Indian bowlers(Especially Yadav and Thakur).

I was expecting Ashwin and Thakur for this game.

Thakur can do something with the ball but not expecting much from the Yadav. He's excellent bowler when playing in the home conditions but not very successful in SENA countries.

Root's wicket was very important. Because Root alone could have ruined the Indian team. England lost 3 wickets for only 53 runs. If the Indian bowlers can bowl well in the first session of the next day, then we can enjoy an interesting match. Otherwise, England will win this test as usual.

LOL.. for me it looks as if India is having an upper hand. The surface is very supportive of seam bowling (which hints why Ashwin wasn't included in the playing XI), and if the Indian pacers can get England all out for 150-160, then there is a good chance of India going up 2-1 in this series. Morale matters a lot. Right now the Indian morale is high, and England is in a spot of bother. This match can swing either way from this point, and tomorrow's first session is going to be extremely important.

Am pretty confident that India will decimate England's remaining batsmen thanks to Yadav removing the dangerous Root. Once Malan gets out, the remaining batsmen will probably collapse like dominoes.

I feel like Thakur's crazy batting performance towards the end gave India the necessary boost to stay on top in this match. Indian tail-enders continue to surprise me with their batting skills at present.

Hahah surprising thing is that bowlers have played their part in the whole series be it with the bat or with the ball.
KL Rahul was really lucky to get a century in the first match or he would definitely had been the first blood spiled and counting the number of chances he has got I am doubtful he would have got another.

Talking about match now, I think tomorrow is going to be very important day, if England manages to score a big score tomorrow could take the match one sided but if even England scores less runs then it will once again be a short yet close encounter.

Indian scored only 191 runs and after 3 wickets down England only trail by 138. Day 2 can be different, as English batsmen only need to create a good partnership. Yes, England has lost 3 important wickets but they still have a lot of wickets in hand. If they again repeat their performance then the Indians will lose this match too.
