Here is the latest map of the conflict situation: https://slavyangrad.files.wordpress.com/2014/09/karta_ahartin_1_sep-1.jpg#1. Situation remains highly volatile to the north of Volnovakha. #2. The NAF has advanced in to the Zaporizka oblast, capturing a few villages. #3. The Donetsk airport pocket of Kiev forces was exterminated. #4. No change in Mariupol. #5. Strategically important Panteleimonovka is now under NAF control.

http://www.hrw.org/news/2014/09/01/ukraine-rising-civilian-toll-luhanskDuring an August 20-22, 2014 visit to Luhansk, under siege by Ukrainian armed forces, Human Rights Watch interviewed more than a dozen people who witnessed or became victims of artillery, mortar, and rocket attacks that killed or injured civilians in populated areas. Many of the attacks appeared to be indiscriminate, in that they did not or could not distinguish between civilians and combatants, Human Rights Watch said. Indiscriminate attacks violate international humanitarian law, or the laws of war.
The precarious security situation in the city made it difficult to conduct full investigations of individual attacks. But interviews with witnesses and victims about the attacks, and Human Rights Watch observations on the ground, suggest that many attacks were unlawful in that the attacking force used weapons in populated areas that could not be targeted with sufficient accuracy to distinguish between civilian and military objects.
Human Rights Watch urged Ukrainian authorities and rebel forces’ commanders alike to order all their respective forces to immediately stop using Grads in or near populated areas, to cease all use of cluster munitions, and to refrain from indiscriminate attacks.
While it was difficult to establish with certainty responsibility for individual attacks amid ongoing fighting, circumstantial evidence indicates that government forces were responsible for many of the attacks Human Rights Watch investigated in the city and that insurgent forces were responsible for several attacks against areas under government control on the outskirts.

NSFWhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TsnWCyKjKmQVideo from the town of Krasny Luch, where the NAF battled Ukrainian troops for many weeks. Complete destruction all around. Dozens of destroyed heavy weapons. Even the earth is completely scorched, as a result of relentless artillery and GRAD bombardment. Hundreds of people might have died here alone. I am wondering why the MSM is not taking this conflict seriously.

Mother of Russian Soldier Killed in Ukraine Confirms Defeat of Russian Motorized Brigade Near Snizhne: 120 Dead, 450 WoundedThis is stated in the article of Novaya Gazeta, Censor.NET reports. Date of death - "August 13, 2014," place - "point of temporary deployment of military unit 27777," time - "during the performance of military duties, reason - combined injury. Multiple shrapnel wounds of the lower limbs with damage to major blood vessels. Massive blood loss." "On the night of August 12, a column of 1,200 people entered Ukraine and in the afternoon of the 13th they stopped at the plant in the town of Snizhne, Donetsk region, 15 kilometers from the border. The trucks with weapons and ammunition were placed very close together. On the afternoon of August 13, the column was hit by Grad. The mother notes that "the boys (fellow soldiers) said that of the 1,200 people, 120 died, and 450 were wounded." "They were somewhere in the back and my Anton was in the front. No trenches, no protection... Panic, some jumped into trucks, scattered in all directions. They got out any way they could..." "I called the Soldiers' Mothers (organization), and they were like: "18th brigade? 120 dead, we know," that is, I was not the first one to call them," the mother of the killed Russian soldier says. http://24today.net/open/131876

They claim that most of those 1 million people who fled to Russia are ethnic Russians. Ground reports indicate that the vast majority of them are ethnic Ukrainians. Almost one-sixth of the original population of the Donetsk and Lugansk oblasts now live in Russia! They are being replaced with migrants from Western Ukraine. (The Kiev regime is promising free land and housing in Donbass, to anyone who is willing to fight against the rebels)

European military assistance to Ukraine could lead to a nuclear conflict between Russia and NATO, according to Poland's iconic cold warrior and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Lech Walesa. http://news.yahoo.com/arming-ukraine-could-lead-nuclear-war-lech-walesa-183453862.htmlOnce again another biased article from the BBC propagandists. Yeah, they could have been more precise, but I think more important matter here is - all those people are Ukrainian citizens. Fact that the vast majority of them is seeking refugee in Russia, and not in Ukraine, tells a lot about the true nature of new Kiev rulers and their 'ATO'. There is an ongoing huge humanitarian disaster and ethnic cleansing caused by Ukrainian war against their own citizens, which is mostly ignored in western medias who prefer to make a fuss about the 5-minute march of 50 Ukrainian POWs in Donetsk. Hypocrisy and double standards at their best, all over again.

Lech sees much, much farther than you from your cheap propagandist shell. Anyway. If you're Ukrainian (are you?), you should be more interested how to -peacefully- settle down things with your citizens living in Donbass and finally start listening to what they've got to say, instead of asking for even more bloodshed and desperately trying to drag EU and USA into your internal conflict.

According to the NAF, this is the count of Ukrainian military equipment which they have destroyed in the month of August:
Jets - 14 Artillery pieces - 187 Tanks - 220 IFVs and APCs - 480 Military cars - 749 Ammo stores - 76
And here is the Kiev casualty figure, according to the NAF:
KIA or WIA: 27,888 POW: 1,649 MIA: 13,500
According to the NAF, Right Sector alone lost some 7,000 members.

According to pro-Russian sources, the current strength of the NAF (Novorussian Armed Forces) is somewhere around 30,000 to 32,000 soldiers (which represents an increase of 10,000 in a months time). The Kiev forces who are capable of fighting currently number around 40,000 (a decline of 20,000 during the same period). Now remember that the Kiev forces have to defend a much larger area, when compared to the NAF soldiers.

The smoking gun: Russian column confirmed in Krasnodon2014/09/02 • Featured, War in Donbas Russia has invaded Ukraine and now there is irrefutable proof. Today a Krasnodon local riding on trolleybus route Nr.1 connecting Krasnodon with Molodohvardiysk filmed a Russian mechanized column near the village of Sukhodolsk on its way towards Luhansk. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uisl4gqfIl0There is no doubt that the video was taken inside Ukraine. The location has been geolocated as at the 40 second mark a street sign comes into view: M04-E40 (see below). The M04-E40 begins at the Russian-Ukrainian border passes South of Luhansk and splits in Debaltseve where the E40 continues along the M03. Therefore the video was undeniably taken deep inside Ukraine. At least 13 T-72BM main battle tanks, 42 BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicles, 6 MT-LB armored personnel carries, 31 troop carrying trucks, a regimental headquarters, armored ambulances, engineering vehicles and at least 15 fuel trucks in the same color scheme carrying at least a thousand troops is without a doubt a regular unit of the Russian Armed Forces. Even more so as the tanks are of the T-72BM model, which are only in service with the Russian Army. Also, the soldiers all wear standard issue Russian uniform and in case of the truck transported infantry the newest Russian Army camouflage (below). Further proof that this is a regular Russian military unit comes from the Russian language warning “oгнeoпacнo” (flammable) on the columns fuel trucks, a warning that would be in Ukrainian language (“вoгнeнeбeзпeчнo“) if these trucks had been captured from the Ukrainian Army. The so-called rebels and their apologists already claim that the “local self-defense forces” captured all of this equipment from the Ukrainian Army. This would require one to believe that the rebels managed to capture an entire regiment worth of undamaged equipment (not accounting for the plethora of exclusively Russian-made tanks); and also captured an entire set of ambulances, command and control trucks, fuel tanks and engineering vehicles that are typical of a Russian mechanized regiment. We would also need to believe in this scenario that the “rebels” managed to capture it all at the same time in an area where the Ukrainian army does not operate and on top of that we should believe that the “rebels” had over a 1,000 men in Russian military uniform at hand to man the “captured vehicles”. Bullshit! This is a Russian military unit inside Ukraine advancing towards the front with everything that is needed to fight. This is the smoking gun. This is it! The Ukrainian-Russian war has begun. http://euromaidanpress.com/2014/09/02/the-smoking-gun-russian-column-confirmed-in-krasnodon/

This is it! The Ukrainian-Russian war has begun.
Really? Then explain why Kiev isn't declaring state of emergency? Highway M04 ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Highway_M04_%28Ukraine%29) goes all the way from Znamianka to Izvaryne, and "M04 E40" marks can be found on Ukrainian controlled territory too. Those men aren't looking like regular Russian soldiers to me. Way too relaxed for someone who should know that they may be targeted by Ukrainian air force or artillery at any time - such tight column on full stop is a very juicy target. Inscriptions on cisterns are hardly a proof because besides Ukrainian, Russian language was also used in Ukrainian army - especially in units deployed in mostly Russian speaking eastern parts of the country.

^ no no, it's no ruSSians, it's marsians... like in Crimea State of emergency, no? Why? Can you answer this by yourself, without copy-pasting Kiev's propaganda pamphlets? There are many more strange things which he will be unable to explain. Well, Putler said he could occupy Kiev in 2 weeks and I believe he is right (maybe 3-4 weeks because of logistics issues).
I think that Putin simply didn't want to frighten the public... Because in fact, it's not quite true and only idiots in Kiev or NATO would be able to consider an idea of invasion from the east as some kind of optimal way. There are enough troops in Belarus, they're much closer to Kiev and there is no need to use additional forces. In case of real invasion, everything would began from northern part of Ukraine and occupation of Kiev would be a matter of 48-96 hours. Kiev isn't under occupation now and Poroshenko didn't shoot himself yet. Yatsenyuk didn't poisoned himself with sodium cyanide and still appears on the TV... Taking these facts into account, it's safe to bet that there is no invasion. But, maybe, there are hallucinations.
