1341  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Crypto Fraud Investigation on: July 06, 2018, 10:10:45 PM
Bruno + Fraud_Investigation would be an awesome team to exposed those scams ICO and literally save thousands if not millions of hard earn money pouring on scam projects right now. And your extensive background could be an asset in this forum and you should call out projects as early as you have the suspicions and the proofs to back it up because most of the time, its really too late and the scammers already took off with investors money.
I don't think Investigation is the problem, the problem is with the punishment for the scammers. We have a huge community of supporters located all over the world who succeed in finding shady projects. Even if exposed, there isn't more than can be done by these remotely located investigators. Community needs a service which will pick up from an investigation and present it to the court. I believe OP isn't interested in doing that as well.
1342  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin's future is DOWN on: July 06, 2018, 10:07:32 PM
By the most logical thinking:
Title of the thread conveys enough to understand the post isn't thought so logically.

•  There's strong evidence that the late 2017 spike in Bitcoin value was due to manipulation via Tether.
Bitcoin started with less than $1? Did tether even exists back then? FLAWED logic right here.

•  IF that is so, then that entire episode actually means nothing, and...
What?

•  Bitcoin etc values will decay back to their historical levels prior to pump & dump.
I'm still trying to find some sense of logic in your post. If everyone still holds their coins, how would the value fall? Magically?

•  This will be slow because interim buyers won't want to take the losses.

Look at BC charts for the past 6 months.  It's very easy to imagine the average value continuing to decay down to $400 in 12-18 months.  And that's what makes sense - at least, more sense than anything else.
Last week it saw an upside down value of $600. Falling and Rising is part of the bitcoin economy.

1343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sending in fake ID for KYC on: June 30, 2018, 01:11:37 PM
This is the normal reaction of a person from crypto world  - trying to hide private data and provide fake. It's okay!  fair or not, it doesn't matter.  The main thing is that if managers are satisfied with this, then it isn't so important for the project, otherwise they would not have passed. take it easy!

1- Managers are not the authorised people to have access to your documents specially KYC.
2- Sending fake documents is not okay and most of the time they will be rejected if the ICO is legit and they're doing the KYC verifications through a third party agency.
3- ICO's are not authorised to take KYC of any citizens unless they have satisfied the business conditions of the government they have registered with.
1344  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA WORLD CUP 2018? on: June 30, 2018, 01:05:07 PM
Lionel Messi most probably would be taking retirement after the end of Argentina's journey in the World Cup. I want this little man to play as much as possible so I'd want Argentina to win France this time at least for this person.
I can't even recollect how many times Messi has retired? He is a fake news! The little man doesn't decide if the team would win the World-Cup. They are taking an "L" today Smiley

France too consist of youth and energetic players but they still need some time to excel their playing skills and they have.
They at least have a team play. Argentina sucks as a team. I mean apart from Messi, they have no good players.
1345  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: messenger with blockchain technology on: June 30, 2018, 12:54:17 PM
We want to store all the information that users pass across their computers and their devices across the globe between users around the world. Not one or more other servers
Isn't that the breach of their privacy policy? I wouldn't want my information to be available on the public chain. You haven't bothered answering my questions in the previous post. Also I don't understand the concept of information transfer between devices when the project is about the transfer between two humans? Or Am I missing on something?
1346  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: blockchain,info isn't sending autorizations emails. on: June 30, 2018, 12:44:24 PM
For the past 4 days i'm not able to login to my account because of not receiving autorization emails, also  already sended 3 support tickets and im not receiving any answer, i'm starting to get really nervous what u guys think i can do?
Just a rough assumption : Since the have changed domains and earlier the used to send through the emailer which was 'blockchain.info', maybe the new one is still not configured or is still in the process ? I'll be dammed if blockchain.info forgot to change their mailing servers lol

Someone please confirm their issue has been solved.
1347  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: HELP ME ! gambling prediction with high coefficient (possible bounty) on: June 30, 2018, 12:39:57 PM
What exactly do you need help for? Predicting the best or evenly distributing the money among other bets so you will always hit the break-even? Speaking of predictions, you can get them all over the forum but just looking around a few topics, they're free. What sort of bounty are you ready to give ?
1348  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How to turn a 2+ years old nonEnglish cryptonews site self-sustaining? on: June 30, 2018, 12:29:28 PM
I have a question for you: how much of your content is original and local? As in, how much of the news or content that you post is fresh, found nowhere else, and originates from Hungarian-only sources? If it's significant, you could consider partnering with other English-content sites to sort of syndicate your content with them.
I doubt that all of it his original content. Looks like he has aggregated the data from other news sources, I could be wrong though. Instead of partnering with English sites, he can hire a translator who does all of it for him.

This might not do much to increase revenue but it could diversify your audience, perhaps even bump advertising revenues. Just a thought.
He already is limiting the website by targeting specific audience. I mean out of their population how many would be into crypto and then filter from among them who would actually look for blogs to read crypto news. The resulting number would be like he said around 60k or so.
1349  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Will you guys check out my Bitcoin news site and let me know what you think? on: June 29, 2018, 11:51:33 PM
Thanks for all the feedback guys! I tried to make the site as simple as possible, kind of aiming for it to fit a lot of news on the front page and be easily navigable. But sounds like that isn't something people want nowadays since the style looks so old. I've updated the layout quite a bit today. Let me know if the updates are an improvement.

I'll look into updating to a much more modern style shortly. Thanks again. If you guys could bookmark it and check back in as I update I'd really appreciate it! Wink
- Sorry to mention but the style still looks a bit old. Why don't you buy some good theme of a wordpress blog or something? Are you considering making any money out of the business? If no, you shouldn't really bother about the styles much as people care more about the content aggregation than a fancy UI.
1350  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is best practice for gambling?? on: June 29, 2018, 11:45:55 PM
So basically you asked that question because you need some suggestions and advice how to earn bitcoin based on your second post in this thread.
What's wrong with that? Nowadays bitcointalk is considered as the first place to earn bitcoins rather than a forum to exchange information.

First of all, gambling will not give you an assurance that it will give you profit in return. That's why it called "Gambling" in the first place. Chances of losing money is possible here so better stay out of that if you don't understand what you are doing. Also, if you want to gamble with small amount, don't also expect that you will have a decent profit in return.
He can and that's why it's called gambling. Imagine he putting that small amount of money on some slot game which turns out absolute lucky? He will get his ritches!

Earning bitcoin needs more dedication than you have right now. You need to give effort and time finding a good way. Just think of how fiat money were earned, thru works, so better find a way in terms of earning bitcoin. You just need to explore it.
He has already chosen gambling. Can't argue with that!
1351  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: [NEWS] Blockchain.info has now moved to blockchain.com on: June 29, 2018, 11:39:11 PM
It's funny how they have time to do things that are that are unimportant while leaving SegWit support even though they promised to deliver it.
It will be funny if they have time to implement SegWit but can't solve the most basic fees structuring/private keys/ user-interface errors. I know SegWit holds the value but there are other things which should be prioritised.

The site looks better than the previous one, there aren't much changes but it is alright. I still am not going to use it, I want to see if their bugs still exist or not. I have always wanted to use blockchain, but stayed away from it because of the major concerns.
- The site still looks the same to me? I wish the had an offline version which would be open-sourced including features for signing transactions etc.
1352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Helbiz is the future on: June 29, 2018, 11:32:12 PM
Helbiz is not like Uber, to me it will be more massive than any car system that has ever existed. I'm certain it won't fail because it has some huge team members, people like 1 CEO of skril,Neteller 2 Ethereum co-founder 3. Alphabit co-founder 4. Royal yatch company and so on won't drag their name into a project that will fail. Everybody that is in the team/ partners are big guns
They might have all the fancy names on their team but that doesn't mean the product will automatically become successful. Without actual customers, they're as good as nothing. It would be great if you can bring some logic to the table.

Moreso, Helbiz is not a taxi service or anything close to that. Helbiz is a seamless peer to peer car rental service which allows you to rent a car instantly with a single click of your mobile phone or if you are a car owner, you can rent out your car without even any manual contact with the rental. All will be done seamlessly with the application.
Your project will fail if I don't like to rent my car. Why would someone? Blockchain isn't gonna help if the car is rented out by cool junkie kids and is returned with drugs lying everywhere in the back seat.

Helbiz will beon track within a month that the operation starts and the real value will start showing.
Helbiz will launch in LA in this July. Don't be left out. It's a risk worth taking and it's damn cheap at the moment... Success is guaranteed

Stop blindly shilling for them. At this point, it looks like you're trying to create a fake hype.
1353  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Logical and mathematical truth of bitcoin on: June 29, 2018, 11:22:21 PM
it something difficult to say but i am more than sure in that everyone is here only for one purpose, the money, and you can not deny this

I disagree. Over the period it has changed but not everyone was/is here or in the entire bitcoin scenario just for money. People made money as good as they make with bitcoin now but the process have become much faster due to bitcoins. Moreover, OP isn't exactly targeting bitcoins but the nature of blockchain system itself.
1354  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Logical and mathematical truth of bitcoin on: June 29, 2018, 10:58:59 PM
snip
* Please quote the posts correctly.I know dissecting every part of it is a strain but helps keep the conversation going very smoothly.
- You almost agreed with all the points that I had, I don't see why you'd be against the entire system then? It is just really a virtual reflection of the stock market with more fluctuation.

- If you're against mining, say it. I like how the system rewards people for running their machines by keeping the payments decentralised. How else would you incentivize the process?
1355  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Will you guys check out my Bitcoin news site and let me know what you think? on: June 29, 2018, 10:50:44 PM
Would you guys check out my site and give me some honest feedback? i.e., whether or not you'd use it, user experience, articles that are shared, sources I'm using, any pointers you have that might improve it, etc.

The site is a news aggregator for Bitcoin, cryptocurrency, and blockchain. I realized in my time involved with Bitcoin that there wasn't a single source where I could find all the top stories/articles of the day in the space. I have to jump around to so many site and it's never concisely in one place. So I decided to throw this together and update as much as I can throughout the day between my day job. Let me know what you think. Thanks!

http://macscoinreport.com/
- There are a lot of famous websites which do it effectively. Cointelegraph/news.btc are a few examples.
- The aggregated data is rather way less compared to your data sources. I mean I have been reading quite a few interesting articles on cointelegragh which is your data source but haven't come across that article.
- I would like if you give users a feature to add their favourite sites to a list and get data from only those sources. In that way, traders/merchants would like to read only data that benefits them unlike other technical stuff that doesn't interest them.
1356  Economy / Reputation / Re: Be aware of Forum scammer as a Moderator on: June 29, 2018, 10:43:58 PM
And this is what I get when I try to open the links on Tor:

Quote
Imgur is over capacity!

Sorry! We're busy running around with our hair on fire because Imgur is over capacity! This can happen when the site is under a very heavy load, or while we're doing maintenance.

Please try again in a few minutes.

I think FHF is trying to get back at this simpleton he calls me to be.
I'm seriously interested in knowing which country blocks imgur and telegram but allows citizens to use a Tor browser? Anyway, I've embedded the image by hosting it on other website which I hopefully isn't blocked in your country. Thank me later.

(if someone has enough time to connect ETH addresses associated with that account I'm sure we would find alts)
1357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: [HELP] bitpay url to address on: June 29, 2018, 10:08:56 PM
Not this time. I had very little time to make this transaction, I could not wait for an answer from Trezor.
I will try next time again, also will try to use https://bitpaydecoder.org seems like a good solution

Just be careful with those non open-source tools. I see that this website does a lot of requests to a PHP page, which I don't see the reason why. They could provide you with a fake address controlled by the owner of the website.
That's very much possible! I wouldn't touch that site with a 10 inch pole!  I did checkout the network requests but nothing unusual. Typical 200/400/401 errors depending on the data validation. However I don't know what
Code:
rec.php?hash=
request meant. It is a post request but no data in header or response.

Better to get the addresses yourself by sending the GET request to the URL with the "Accept" header equal to "application/payment-request", or use a more trusted open source tool like https://decoder.bip70.org/
I doubt non-techies can afford investing their time to call the API's. The open-source option is better.
1358  Economy / Reputation / Re: Be aware of Forum scammer as a Moderator on: June 29, 2018, 09:27:47 PM
*Close friends with digaran and can't even spell his username properly. It's funny how on one end he is trying to help the forum here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4566587.0 and on the other trying to do something worse.
Definitely a scum of the forum.
1359  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA WORLD CUP 2018? on: June 28, 2018, 09:31:47 PM
Too many surprises this World Cup! Even saw a post someone putting a good amount of money for Croatia as the winner @x35  Grin I'll be dropping my prediction here so incase if the turns out to be true, I can have myself some giggles. The winner of the World-Cup would be either Brazil or Spain. Argentina has no chance winning the next match.
1360  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for a+ quality web page for ico altcoin project (bounty up to 500 USD) on: June 28, 2018, 09:24:08 PM
Do you want someone to do the designs in photoshop and then you will find a developer to code it? Or do you want the webpage designed and developed by the same person? I will be willing to take up the task if you can provide me with the photoshop designs. Everything will be through an escrow obviously!
