1501  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bear market likely over? on: December 25, 2022, 08:12:36 PM
In my mind Its very hard or we can say little bit impossible to predict that bear market is over or something else. In previous days when Bitcoin confirm his support approximately above the 20k everyone told and show indication that bear market is about to over and now we will move toward previous All Time High to break. But everything goes against him and the main reason was FTX scam as a result many of trader liquidate  Thier funds who follow the statement, so you must do much research before trade rather than following the footsteps of others

So far, there are no signs that the bear market is over, moreover, they are constantly trying to show us negative news that does not allow bitcoin to start its upward movement. I think that after this accumulation zone, we will have a final downward movement, but it is difficult to say where bitcoin will fall to what mark. But I wouldn't be surprised if we see a price of 10k.
All predictions indicate that the coming year will be worse than its predecessors for the crypto market and the global economy as a whole. The bad news will not stop recurring, given that the decline in the Bitcoin market directly serves banks and fiat money dealers. Most likely, the price did not improve until the next halving. What happened during the last period of the fourth quarter of this year was catastrophic in a way that the market could not recover quickly from.

Yes, there are still a lot of events that can affect not just bitcoin, but traditional market as well. The war between Russia vs Ukraine and it could still escalate even further till next year. And the longer we have this war, the longer that everyone will suffer. Although there is sign the some economies of other country is taking off post-Covid, most likely it will take a lot of time before we can fully recover, just saying. So the bear market will still continue in 2023 so we should prepare for the worst, because it will be unpleasant for the majority specially if we touch another lowest low.
Economic issues or negative events could really neither  give or not give some impact on crypto market this is why it is really hard to guess and really hard to make out some step due to unpredictability.

Economic issues will definitely have an impact to us and every market as I have said. Every market is connected to each other, probably the same investors on both sides are playing their money here. So if we have bad economy around, people are not willing to invest because they want it to stabilized first.

If we do speak about ending of bear market then this is something that you cant really be able to consider on point considering that there are lots of fake pumps or to those casual increase of price
on a certain situation which people whom do believe that this might be the start of the reversal which is something that dont happen most of the time.

There's no way we could able to determine if its already over or we are still needing to wait for more longer years or months to come.

Well if you look at it's past historical logs, the catalyst for a bull run is the block halving. So most likely bear market will continue next year but by 2024 around the first quarter of the next or after the block halving, we might see an end to this long bear market.

Speaking of Casimero, the decision was turn over no contest to knockout by the KBM (Korea Boxing Member's Commission).

Source: https://www.gmanetwork.com/news/sports/othersports/855186/casimero-vs-akaho-result-overturned-to-knockout/story/

Not sure though how will this affect those who bet on Casimero winning by knockout, will casino's also turn over their decision and give the winnings to the bettors? I'm asking this because this is the first time that I see this happening for a a long time.
Thank you for the update bro.
I was expecting that to happen but I didn't know the association will be that fast to investigate and conclude the winner of that fight.
It was too obvious, we all know who won that game.
Now, this will give a push for Casimero for his next battle. Will it be Inoue? If he will stay and try to defend his title then there's a chance they will meet.
Or does Casimero need to fight one more boxer to rank up and reach him?

Maybe the Korean boxing commission was really ashamed on what they see on the Japanese fighter and that's why a swift investigation and reversal of the decision. And Akaho admitted that it he was not really hit behind his head so that admission is enough for them to overturn.

I doubt that Casimero will get Inoue, it seems though that Bob Arum is pushing for Naoya to get an immediate title shot against Fulton.

Although it might hurt those in line, but Top Rank is powerful promotion and could do that to the boxing organizations to request that fight immediately. And it's a good match as well, fans are going to be happy if this fight is going to be made once Inoue moves up.

And Akaho should pay for the embarrassment he gave towards the boxing community because he robbed Casimero's chance to win on that very same day and celebrate afterwards but Ryo Akaho is quite wise to retire first before he was given some penalties as he knew that his career was already over the moment he faked what happened in the ring.

And we are correct after all, he was just acting inside the ring, and what an act, he should have fought until he gets knockout by Casimero. But then again he doesn't want to get embarrassed, but it backfired on him as all the fans who are watching in the arena and around the world saw what really happen and then as you have said, the brandish Casimero could celebrate by he take it away. But I guess justice for John Riel has been served and he won by KO in the records. Now let's wait for their next move on who is their next fight, obviously Inoue is the next target but Casimero can fight anyone at 122 lbs and make a name in this division.

Until there are changes in the Lakers roster, I am not giving them a serious chance of landing the 8th spot, although I am not taking it away the chance to secure a playoff spot thru the play-ins.
That will only happen if Westbrook will get traded, they might benefit from the drama of the Chicago Bulls, and maybe Westbrook will be traded for Lavine or DeRozan, who knows, right? Davis, on the other hand, has only one problem, which is his inconsistency to stay healthy which is definitely not his fault, however, the faith of the Lakers every season heavily relied upon him.

I think anyone of this trade could happen before the deadline in February, if Lakers wanted to get a roster upgrade or a new team mate for Lebron. I know that Westbrook name has been coming out even last season or before the start, but there are no chances from him, or not what the Lakers expect him to be, so they might as well trade him.

For AD, it's the cycle around his body, wear and tear, always injured when they were about to make a run. But the thing is, will the Bulls think he is still worth huge some of money and then them letting either of their stars for AD?
1504  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: December 25, 2022, 12:11:48 PM
Or maybe he is just focusing on boxing to conquer his depression and other mental problems that will lead him in an unwanted situation, either way, I'm glad that he is looking sharp and back in business to face the heavy names. This maybe his first time but I know that he can do this properly because every champion was once a challenger too, so there's really a first time for everything. I just hope that there would be no problems along the way.
He started his journey too early, he received too much attention at a young age, in addition, there is a lot of tension before the fights, so not everyone is able to endure such psychological stress. But it is clear that he coped well with this, that what does not kill us makes us stronger. Whether he is ready for the battle with the Tank is a very difficult question. When I watch an interview with Garsis, I see that he believes that he is ready, and this is very important, but I see that Tank is a more experienced opponent and he is stronger at the moment.

As long as he is ready, expect a 100% performance of Garcia. He cannot make an excuse that he is dealing with a mental problem if he losses his fight, this is big for him, so as an undefeated fighter, he will certainly make sure to continue that way. Tank is definitely a tough opponent, but about the experience, I think it's not a big deal.

Ryan already said that he is already ok mentally, he has won fights already so I don't think it will be an excuse if ever he losses the fight. On the contrary, he said that he will skip the tune up because he wants to focus more on Tank Davis, it shows that he is laser focus and motivated.

24 yrs old vs 28 yrs old, both are young boxers and champions, this is very unpredictable.

Both are young and still at their prime, so age here is not a deciding factor. As far experience goes though, I will give a slight edge to Tank Davis.

But as you have said, it's very unpredictable, hard to see who will prevail because they are both exciting fighters and capable to knock each other.

Making a simple prediction...  I think that those selling now will be the ones buying our BTC back in 2025 well into the six figure exchange rate.

Isn't it ironic though, the same person that panics and then later down the road, they don't missed and FOMO, when they starts to see the price moving and making new all time high in 2024-2025.

They'll complain about all the scams and how they were forced to sell, but the real reason is that most people in this space nowadays came for easy money, and there hasn't been any easy money here for the last year, so they're all gone.  Some holding their bags with hope and others dumping and cursing crypto.  Me, I like vocally doing the opposite of everyone else and then listening to the excuses later on.  Stack sats and you will be happy about it in the future, that's a good prediction.

Yeah, they really don't know what to do, or just heard bitcoin from someone bought at the top price. Going to be very expensive lessons for them. But hey, someone needs to start something and probably it's the best lesson they can learn here before making money in the next bull run.

Interesting rumor that Zach LaVine is trying to force his way out of Chicago and into a contract with the Lakers.  I honestly don't see how this would work out with a trade, but it's fun to speculate about.  The crazy thing is that DeRozan wants to be a Laker also.  With the Lakers not having much to offer but Anthony Davis, it seems unlikely that a swap for LaVine would work and this is interesting because the Lakers have been trying to get DeRozan with a trade, and now the Bulls have 2 guys that want to play for the Lakers...  This is going to be one rumor filled trading window.

https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nba/nba-rumors-zach-lavine-is-forcing-his-way-to-the-lakers/ar-AA15BD0a

Yeah, read that rumors as well, I was really surprised that Lavine wanted out of the Bulls, since he was being made to be the face of the franchise. But it looks like he was frustrated on how the teams are turning specially last season when they got DeRozan because they expecting that they will make a final push.

They do good in the beginning, but when injuries keeps piling up, barely made it to the playoff last year and then exited on the first round.

And this season, it's worst for them.

Banking on Lebron to carry you the whole way moving forward is a big ask. AD was brought to be the lead dog to help reserve Lebron for the playoffs but AD's body can't be depended on at all for what it's worth.  I checked and Lebron has played in about 1388 games in his career.   The average player runs 2.8 miles in a game so Lebron has something like 3886 miles of running on his body.  He is above average when it comes to taking care of himself and has the funds to have top of line care... but he is human.
Both of them have reliable before but things have changed, AD is more prone to injuries although he's really a monster when he's healthy. For Bron, he's not getting younger anymore and other players couldn't really on him anymore they have to assist them with his leadership, I guess that's what they're banking on. And it's likely that Bron won't retire even if many are telling him he's already aged because he said he wants to play with his two sons in the official season/league.

Definitely LeBron won't retire until he sees his 2 sons in the NBA. Bronny just turned 18 and Bryce is 15, LeBron could stay in the league until his 41 or 42. These are the range of age where Mutombo and Kareem retired. LeBron hasn't showed an obvious sign that he's washed it, so he's probably going to be fine until early 40's.
While AD on the other side, he might start to miss more games because of this injury again. The fans aren't surprised anymore. This is where we realize that Durability is something that is very important especially when you're a superstar.

It is just too unfortunate for Davis for being a prone to injury kind of player. His height and skills will surely benefit any team that will get him signed, but what's the use of those talents if the user is not available at all times.

True, and he is not that old though, but his body is really prone from simply to career threatening injuries. It's really hard to avoid because he was really tall and his body might not able to handle the exhausted kind of games that is it being played right now. At least though, he has won a ring already and that is huge for Davis career.

And for LeBron's legacy, we will see it in the near future if LeBron James can do that and figure out some things that will make him relevant, moreover, it's obvious that there will be teams in the league that will cater their needs and to be part of the history because it's rare to see a father and son duo, what more if there's three James wearing the same jersey. I've looked it up on the internet, it says that Bronny James is eligible to play and get drafted in 2024.

We can say different to Lebron though, he has work very hard spend million to protect his assets - his body that's why he was able to stay and sustained the games for so long, season 20 for him? no problem. He can still run and give us highlight reel dunks from time to time.

What are your scenes. Have anyone made some fortune through betting.

What do you mean? I doubt that someone will answer this question straight away, as far as my experience being a gambler and talking to gamblers, they will admit on their winnings, but losing money and big money to boot? I doubt that they will answer it straight away.

I will also tend to question your intentions of putting bitsler's name though.

Yeah, for sure others might have used it here because it's a old gambling site.
1511  Other / Off-topic / Re: Be The Judge... on: December 22, 2022, 07:26:58 PM
It's really hard to get the facts from fiction, perhaps the first question is how did he end up witht -$5 from winning $198? Do the shop has the copy of what he bet that time? They should so that it will have a proof. And why the owner allow him to do that in the first place? And why not pay him right away?

Not sure about bringing the thugs but it's possible that the person can do that, maybe he really has some influence in his place or the money to pay that thugs.

In any case, it was kind of messy, so the best thing that the owner can do is file charges to the guy.
1512  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Two types of predictors in bitcoin market. on: December 22, 2022, 02:46:49 PM
Yes, it's either they are,

1. Perma Bears - they usually come out of their hole when the market is turning bad and saying all this kind of negativity. And they took pride of creating a lot of FUD's and cause panic.

2. Perma Bulls - those investors or individuals who really believed that bitcoin will be the end of it all, from being a world currency, to be accepted by government and used as legal tender.
1513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [POLL] Will BNB crash? Will Binance go bankrupt? on: December 21, 2022, 09:47:45 PM
I voted for Nothing. FUD.

I think CZ has get over this FUD, just started when some company do audits and stuff post in the internet and then others took the bandwagon and spin it. And if I'm not mistaken, that tweet or report has been deleted already by the company because probably they know they created a lot of fuss about it and not good for the market.

So for me it won't crash, Binance will remain the top exchange because they still gain the trust of everyone here in the market.

And I don't know, CZ has this personality that everyone loves, just saying.
1514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino bonus is it worth it? on: December 21, 2022, 09:25:54 PM
Lots of casino giving bonus in different form such as free spin, free bet and bonus deposit but some of applies wagering requirements which is very hard to complete without losing money greater than bonus that you acquired. I know that wagering requirements is calculated by the casino so that can't go bankrupt by abusing this bonus.

I follow Duelbits Christmas giveaway since day one and I still can't find the challenge that I know that I can win.

Does completing bonus is still possible and profitable or it's just like chasing the wind?

That's why is it called bonus, because you don't know, it might give you a good in the end. So for me, still worth to chase it, or at least try to reach for it if you can when playing on a certain casinos that will give this kind of promo or wagering requirements. That thing is that most of the time though, those requirements are too big for average joe gamblers, maybe for whales they can go for it. Nevertheless, who knows, maybe you can lucky and win big in promos such as free bet or just the bonus deposit. So it's not chasing a wind, you still have that chance even if it is small and we are willing to take it.
1515  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 21, 2022, 09:10:43 PM
I tried to research it but there is still no official report yet concerning Anthony Davis's injury. It is just a hint from Brian Windhorst. Will keep a positive outlook until the official reports come in. But if Davis is really out longer than one month, that will really hurt the Lakers' chance to even get illegible for the play-in. The surge of win they had lately was on the back of a great performance coming from Anthony Davis. It will be hard to fill that up with the roster the Lakers have right now. We may see a losing skid against from the Lakers.

The Lakers' upcoming schedule will be pretty tight, considering they will play 6 games until the end of December. So even if Davis misses only 1 month due to injury, it will still negatively affect the Lakers' results, and their chances of reaching at least the play-in tournament would likely be minimal.
Anyway, let's hope the Lakers' remaining healthy players will be able to perform well enough to avoid another losing streak.

If the Lakers are silent about AD's injury, so I expect it to be worst than everyone has thought so yeah, maybe another a month or so with Davis out again and that has been the struggles of Lakers as of this time as they can't get a decent time with Anthony not getting himself injured.

So it's on the shoulder of Lebron James, and hopefully they wanted to remain at the position wherein they will have a chance at the play-in.

But then again, it will be difficult to advance to the next round, just saying.

Right, Lebron is not getting any younger as well, although we appreciate his body of art as he was able to keep that body running even at his age, we have seen him in the last 2 years getting injured and missing games too. Perhaps James is looking to break Kareem's record this season, but very hard for them tor reach their goal of winning another championship because his partner is always down and there are no players that can step up to cover for Davis scoring. It could be Russ or Bryant as a big guy, but it's not going to be enough in this very competitive season.
1516  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Artur Beterbiev vs Anthony Yarde on: December 21, 2022, 08:56:37 PM
^^ I speculate that they could have been a rivalry between the two, Usyk is just one weight class above Beterviev and possible that they could be talks for them to fight. But we all know that Usyk when as high as HW win the belts against AJ and the rest is history.

And I think Usyk though can still drop to CW and then Beterview can go as high as that weight so maybe a superfight is also possible in the future between the two.

That is a good and epic fight worth to be watching if both camps can materialize it, although just like what @bisdak40 said, there will be some issues that will make it hard to happen. Otherwise, they can always both meet at the middle, at the Cruiserweight division to make the fight happen and to end the speculations of their rivalry.

Yes, maybe in the catchweight? that could be good as Usyk is very small for a Heavyweight, he is just very talented and has the movement to stay away fro Anthony Joshua's punch and he is very technical as well to be able to win the 2 fights that he had against AJ. But if he faces Tyson Fury, it will be very difficult match for Usyk.

So who knows, after that fight with Tyson Fury, he can go back or meet Arthur Beterviev in the middle for a good money fight and it could be added some narrative of a Ukraine (Usyk) vs Russia (Beterviev), that will be huge.

GM/GN crypto fam.

So, apparently, despite everything that has happened in 2022 and is still happening, crypto funding is set to surpass 2021 funding. Huh

I honestly don't understand how that could be the case with everything that has happened in the past 11 months.

Quote
In the first 9 months of 2022, VC firms poured $19.9 billion into the crypto space, which is 44% higher than the same period in 2021. However, there is a considerable slowdown in Q3 2022, as VC funding dropped by 38.3% compared to Q2 2022. Q3's total figure is around $4 billion.

Can the overall crypto space recover until 2023, or is crypto funding going to decline in 2023?

It say's it has a considered slowdown? so maybe at the end of the year, it will be just break even or the funds are not that big as compare to 2021.

We can't say at this point, but if we are going to look at the historical logs, 2023 should be another bear market, meaning there could be projects coming but Venture Capitalist might be picky because of the current market situation.

So might be 2023 could be another so-so period for projects and it's hard to look for Venture Capitalist next year because of the prevalent market sentiments.
1518  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Ryan Garcia vs Mercito Gesta (January) on: December 19, 2022, 07:30:10 AM

I don't know if their decision to cancel the tune-up fight will help Ryan Garcia's situation or not, it would be a good chance for him to prepare against his fight with Davis because this Gesta is also touted to be like Davis too, but less risky because the latter's career is already going down. Nonetheless, there's a particular reason why they didn't push through the tune-up fight.

And for me if Garcia will perform well in this fight he will gain more hypes in his career, not sure why he thinks that he doesn't need the tune-up against Gesta, just an opinion maybe his camp see something that might be a disadvantage to them, maybe in this fight he can be exposed by Gesta and Davis will be more ready for him.

Just my own cents, but whatever it is, those fans who wanted to see Garcia before the Davis fight will surely be curious why he did not want this fight to happen anymore.

We don't know their reasons but of course, they have something in consideration that we don't know about.
But this tune-up fight is a needed one to know where Garcia at with his preparation with Davis.
Anyway, if Garcia will directly fight Davis, I believe, Garcia will be the underdog on this match.
A long lay-off for me is not advisable as he will be needing a lot of preparations before the fight as you need to condition your body.

The reason is already cited in many articles, Garcia wanted to fight Davis directly and he has no time for tune up fight because he thinks that it will meddle with his strategy.  I do not think Garcia needed a tune up fight, he can have a sparring practice, and do his daily routine of preparation.  Besides fighting a different style boxer can mixed up your strategy to your focused target.  So I think Garcia made a right call in avoiding Gesta even though he thinks that Gesta is an easy fight.

So you are saying that the Gesta fight will not happen?

I think both Garcia and Davis have their own respective tune up fight before the big fight, but now Garcia choose not to have one? I'm surprise with this news if it's true because all the while, I thought he is preparing for Gesta to have an impressive win.

It is already true, links just several posts above you, from his social media as well, so it's official, no more tune up fight for him.

And Ryan said, it's not about those easy fights and the money that comes with it, he just want to focus on the Tank Davis fight as this is the most important fight in his young career. Just too bad for Gesta just to be passed on, but he can't do anything as he is not the A-side on this fight and we all know that he will supposedly used by Ryan in preparation against Tank Davis.
1519  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 18, 2022, 09:37:07 AM
I think the big story from the last Lakers game is LeBron scoring over 30 for his 3rd straight game.  The first old guy to do that since Michael Jordan twenty years ago.  Westbrook played great also though.  It's almost like the Lakers are starting to get it together and might find themselves in the postseason this year.

And with that 30 points production from LeBron James last night's win against the Denver Nuggets, he's now 765 points short of passing Kareem Abdul Jabar on being the top NBA All-Time scoring leader. Not a big deal for others especially for his critics but that is something difficult to achieve even with an intentional stat-padding on every game.

Also agree that they are now starting getting a in good rhythm unlike during their early games that they can really be considered as a flop team.

That win last night without Anthony Davis is something of good progress and development on the team as they lose a player with an average of 30 PPG there but they were able to fill that gap against a good team. If they will continue on that good progress, they will soon be able to climb the standing.

Yes, and there are a lot of players who step up in this game,

Bryant is worth nothing though, with 21 big points and this is against the reigning MVP Jokic that somewhat offset the scoring that AD could have in this game, although before getting injured he has 10 point already.

Austin Reaves, Schröder and Russell Westbrook all played 30 minutes plus and they also have a good contribution. So it's a well balance attack against one of the best team in Nuggets.

That's a huge win by the Lakers, after losing some games, hopefully they will be fully back on track. With Davis and Lebron staying healthy, there's really a huge potential that they'll reach in the playoffs, and although I think they will not be as dominant when they won the championship, but this team is still a scary team.

By the way, finally Suns were able to avenge their losses in a come back win, also, in the last seconds, Booker still shoot the ball showing he didn't respect the Pelicans.

I think you may have missed the game because AD goes down injured in their games against the Nuggets. So it's only Lebron who try to glued the team together playing as if he is still not in his age right now. Couple of dunks and penetration.

Hard to see them still in the playoff even with AD healthy, teams in the West are very competitive. They are still in the 12th position.
1520  Economy / Speculation / Re: ELON sold his TSLA stock for $3.5billion. Will he re-buy BTC soon? on: December 18, 2022, 09:08:44 AM
On the contrary, when we speculated that he could have bought some bitcoin, the price suddenly goes down.

So it make sense that we really don't know for sure that Elon sold his stocks to rebuy bitcoin, this is very far from what we have witnessed in the last couple of days. Dumps after dumps pulling the price again to $16,750. And so we shouldn't treat Elon's every move to be very positive with bitcoin. Maybe he is really out of the picture and will not re-buy anymore. Or if there are crypto that we will opt to buy, maybe it's not bitcoin.
