1701  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with crypto because taxation makes no sense? on: November 27, 2023, 06:33:57 AM
Yes, in this area taxes are very similar to robbery (as in other areas, but here it is even more similar) and it is better for the player to avoid taxes, crypto really helps here. By the way, also due to the fact that even if you are in a country where gambling is prohibited, you can safely play online.
What irritates me most about gambling taxes is that the principle of prohibition of double taxation is not respected - the state collects taxes from both casinos and players.

Many of the gamblers are not ready to pay the taxes for the gambling deposits and withdrew from the gambling sites. If the gambler not win the big money or not able to hold their deposit money, how he able to pay the taxes for the nothing he had earned and loss of the capital investments. So it was need to think by the government to make the taxes for the gamblers for the deposit of the money t the gambling sites. As we know the state collect the taxes for the players and for the gambling sites. So it was look like the double taxation for the single process,if any gambling sites approach the government for this.We don't knowit will works, but if it work we will free from paying taxes to the government.

Are you suggesting that gamblers pay taxes immediately when they make a deposit? I doubt that anyone will agree to this. The fairest and most appropriate solution is for only the casino to pay taxes. For a casino, this is a normal business that brings in regular, predictable income, but for a gambler, winning is a rather rare thing (if we are talking about the fact that winnings exceed spending on bets).

congratulations for that - i have forwarded your user
nothing new at the top, Little Mouse, Trofo and casperBGD occupy the first three places and somehow i can't get out of the bottom...
~

I see Little Mouse like I forgot to get 2 points from the Bayern game, but that doesn't stop him from strengthening his lead, nice!  Cool
Again an unsuccessful round for me (which started with the fact that I forgot to make a forecast for the Bayern game), plus as many as 4 draws that I don’t like. And in general, this tour is quite strange - the average performance is lower than the others. Apparently the pause affected international games in this way.

✂️
Thank you for reminding! Unfortunately, I had a very busy day and only now remembered the Bundesliga.

Second option. Apparently I should sort this out, but I’m not sure that I’ll have time to read all the notifications (at the moment I’m under a lot of offline workload).

1704  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: November 26, 2023, 10:02:28 PM
Real Madrid managed to defeat their opponents away. Cadiz were not a very challenging team for them and this was evident from the result. Of course, they had no problems in attacking Real Madrid and getting into scoring positions, but they are one of the teams that don't have many chances to win against title contenders. They are in a very different class both in terms of personnel and technical team. Real Madrid took the 3 points with 3 goals and are now in the lead with a game in hand.

Atlético and Girona have a game in hand. Now Barcelona is behind three teams at once, and if we take the big three, then Barcelona is in third place and the chances that they will be able to defend the title evaporate. After tomorrow's game, when the whole tour is over, it will be interesting to look at the bookmakers' quotes, I think Barcelona should already be listed in region 3.00.
1705  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: November 26, 2023, 04:00:42 PM
What a comeback from Dortmund and they did it when they were two goals behind. I was wondering whether this would be the next consecutive defeat for Dortmund after previously losing to Stuttgart and Bayern Munich. However, Dortmund answered my doubts and they managed to turn things around with the 3 goals they scored in the same half.

A total of 5 goals were scored in the first half which made the match even more exciting but after the second half started the two teams were unable to do the same thing as in the first half. Dortmund completed the victory with the fourth goal in the minute of injury time and closed the victory to 4-2. This result proves that Dortmund do not want to fall into the same abyss as before and they succeeded in shifting Leipzig from the top 4 positions.

Unfortunately, the gap from the leaders is already huge, I doubt that they will be able to produce a long series of winnings like last season and catch up with them. But Dortmund, as always, pleases with its volatility and the opportunity to bet on large odds (I wonder what the quotes were when the score was 0-2).
By the way, in the next round Bayer plays with Dortmund and it will be a game of the same scale as with Bayern, despite the fact that Bayer now looks much stronger.
1706  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: November 26, 2023, 03:48:57 PM
OMG, I forgot that many Real Madrid players are injured, and I already made a bet in Real Madrid to win this match. But yes, even though Real Madrid is playing away but hopefully Real Madrid will still be able to win in this match. Anyway, a winning result seems to be the main target for Real Madrid because ya, if Real Madrid fails to win then Girona might succeed to make a better gap. So yes, I believe Real Madrid have second-tier players who have qualities that are at least not much different from the main players. So yes, I hope Real Madrid to have no trouble in this match, because basically Cadiz is also not a strong team that competes in the upper zone in the La Liga standings.

I think that even the second line-up of Real Madrid should beat Cadiz without any problems. I will be very upset if this does not happen today because on the part of Real this will be another “forgiveness” of Barcelona’s mistake. In addition, Atlético is surprisingly moving at the same pace as Real, and even though today they barely beat weak Mallorca, the number of points is equal.

What a waste this Sevilla is - after 25 minutes of play it’s already 0-2.

These odds are extremely low, imagine that you put $1 in each game with odds of 1.03 and get it right in 10 consecutive games, so you'll end up with $1.30, then you bet $1 in a game with odds of 1.03 and you lose your bet. Yes, even in games with odds as low as 1.03 you can lose a bet. with this loss you will be left with 0.30$, see that you had 10 consecutive victories but only because of just 1 defeat you will be left with 0.70$ in losses. In the long term, bets with very low odds are not worth it. And another thing you should be very careful about: many bookmakers limit or ban the accounts of people who constantly place bets with very low odds, despite not putting this in the TOS.
~

Are you sure about this? I know that dishonest bookmakers ban you for absolutely any reason, and it’s not about the size of the odds.
For a normal bookmaker, it makes no difference how the player bets because in any odds there is a bookmaker’s margin (and by the way, there is an opinion that the lower the odds, the higher the margin). I only use low odds selections for multi bets but odds of 1.03 are something I completely ignore.
1708  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: November 26, 2023, 03:10:30 PM
For me Manchester United the odd is unusually high in tonight game as it is 2.50 as an odd so maybe that is the best bet to make in today games for the Premier League.I know that the odd is a bit normal considering the recent performance of both teams but I think Manchester United is still United and against Everton who barely is above the relegation zone can be an easy target for United.
~

Currently the quotes are as follows:

2.66 - 3.35 - 2.72

6th place against 19th and United are not even favorites!  Grin
In the poll, I think I chose United to win, but it seems that the bookmakers, as always, know something and are adjusting their quotes towards Everton. If I were making a money bet, I would definitely bet on Everton.

How annoying it is when 10 minutes are added to the first half, what idiocy (Tottenham - Aston Villa)  Angry
1709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: November 26, 2023, 03:02:34 PM
Yes, it would be funny to see, for example, Germany winning the group stage against Luxembourg with a score of 20-0  Grin And I agree that thanks to one meeting, everyone has a chance. Path B will obviously be won by Ukraine, while Path A will see Wales and Poland meet in the final.

If it was a Waled vs Poland match then I think it would be a win for Poland. To be honest, I don't understand this Losers Tournament because it's a little difficult for me to understand. But what I know is that this Losers Tournament is about bringing together the best 3 ranked teams and then selecting the 3 teams that will qualify? Correct me if I'm wrong because.

I'm not at all confident that Poland will win (although they might be favorites on paper), Santos has lost his luck. As for the details about the tournament of losers, it’s better to look at the wiki, when I figured it out I got a headache.

Placement into the Losers Tournament is based on the ranking of teams in the Nations League tournament. Yes, this is absurd, but in this way UEFA is trying to add value to this tournament, which everyone has already given up on.

I think this has happened because of the FIFA ranking. I think it is like if the team is not above a certain number of ranks, or probably it is because the team is actually behind, in terms of FIFA ranking, is the reason why, even though being above on the table, they have not been able to qualify. Something like that has happened if I am not wrong. That's why a lot of teams are actually getting second chances, even though they should not be qualifying. That's what I think, but of course, correct me if I am wrong.

regards

duke

No, FIFA rankings are not taken into account here at all. The only thing that matters is how successful a team is in the Nations League, and given the fact that in the Nations League most of the teams have already received a direct ticket, the algorithm becomes very confusing.
1710  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: November 26, 2023, 02:41:51 PM
Newcastle's win over Chelsea was amazing. They've been inconsistent, but this game showed their potential. I'm doubtful about their Champions League chances. They're financially supported, but money isn't everything. They face far more experienced teams. UCL performance is different from Premier League performance

To compete with Europe's great guns, they need a major strategy change. Though impressive domestically, Newcastle lacks the consistency and tactical sophistication needed for Champions League. I'm curious how they'll adjust their strategy for UCL's greater hurdles. Finding the correct balance between financial power and team development for high-pressure European nights is key

When Newcals trampled PSG in the Champions League, they also looked great, then they were unlucky to a certain extent and are now in last place in the group. Now their chances of qualifying look like this:

Yes 3.20 No 1.30

And here it’s hard to disagree with the bookmakers, since in order to definitely get into the 1/8 they need to either win the two remaining games or gain 4 points and hope that the results of other games will be favorable for Newcastle.

I think yeah, fewer games and fewer weaker teams are what will be problematic -- less likely to see one-sided games and big odds drying up. Then it gets thicker to pick the outcome with tight games.

Pot A (Superbru) is clear advantage for Top 10 as the stages progress. Mathematics is cruel.

It is clear that whoever has an advantage will most likely hold it further, but it seems to me that the fewer one-sided games (where it is easy to predict the outcome), the higher the chance for those behind to make a comeback. If the outcome of the game is clear, then all players receive from 1 point to 3 = a difference of 2 points and there is complete randomness in the sense of guessing the exact score, the actual range is 1-1.5 points. If the outcome of the game is unclear at all, then the players receive from 0 to 3 points; if we discard the exact score, then from 0 to 1.5. Obviously, the 1.5 point difference in the second case is greater than the 0.5 point difference in the first.

How long ten hag will keep blaming the schedule for the injuries that happened to his players. This guy doesn't even make sense. Ten hag keep makes another excuses by blaming the fixtures. That is showing how ten hag is not even ready for that.
If he was thinking busy fixtures have affected the performance from his club and he shall not try to be qualified for UCL.

Quote
Erik ten Hag claimed Manchester United's fixture pile-up is "across the limits" players can handle as he deals with legions of injuries before his side's clash with Everton on Sunday.
https://www.90min.com/posts/erik-ten-hag-blasts-fixture-schedule-man-utd-injuries

He needs remember that if the team with winning mentality never try to blame the busy schedules for all of injured happened to the manchester united players. Ten hag needs to focus on how to win against everton.
Some important players will not be playing against everton like martinez and casemiro. Let's see how ten hag will be rotate the available player at this moment.

That's pretty interesting to see the result against everton. Manchester united may not play offensive against everton.

Ten Hag is right that the calendar of games is bloated and the players do go through the season to the limit of their capabilities, but this cannot be an excuse for him as all clubs are on an equal footing in terms of a busy calendar.
As for the fact that players get injured and are generally physically exhausted, maybe Sancho was right when he “didn’t work well in training”, at least he has no injuries  Grin Maybe Sancho is just smarter than Ten Hag?

1715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Odds, units advantage | Sportsbook | +93056 units on: November 25, 2023, 09:33:28 PM
Ah, well, French football, what to say. Minamino actually scored early in the tie to keep things exciting but everything fell apart after the break, really.

So it's not often we do this but each season we do take on some riskier bets and I have to say, while Liverpool haven't won at the Emirates in 8 years, Nunez, Diaz, Jota and Salah have all been peak performers during international -- I hope they bring it.

500 units at Sportsbet on Liverpool to WIN at City @4.74. Other odds (Betcoin has the best if you don't have a priceboost): 4.50. Units advantage: 24x5 = 120
Bet ID: 655dc4f74149c6000179ef9d

Running advantage after 39 bets: +3629 (+120)
All-time cumulative: +93,489
Running units after 38 bets (3W|35L): -1212 (-100)

I can't say it was close, but the final score is slippery and Liverpool could have won with some luck. Another question is whether the coefficient was worth it? I think 4.74 was too little in this situation (Liverpool away after international games, a short break to be in Manchester). It seems to me that you made this bet as a Liverpool fan, first of all  Wink

Smiley

1720  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: November 25, 2023, 08:55:29 PM
The teams had very little time to get back in order after the international games, especially Liverpool which played away, so I'm pleasantly surprised that Liverpool were able to get a draw. Overall, an excellent result, since now both Arsenal and Tottenham (and even Newcastle, which will now obviously take 3 points) will be able to surpass/get closer to City.
By the way, as I said a long time ago, City had the easiest schedule of games at the beginning of the season, but now, on the contrary, it is very difficult and they have steadily begun to lose points, I hope this trend continues.

If seen directly, manchester city is not like usual when there is de bruyne, and indeed the international break may be quite disturbing to the team in the arrangement in the strategy as before.
I feel strange whether de bruyne really influences the game of Manchester City, because since De bruyne was injured, Manchester City was not as fierce as the beginning of the season in the league, this makes me wonder, does he have that much influence.

Yes Liverpool is quite surprising because if you look on paper, 70% of manchester city should get a win is a sure thing but it seems to be held back by Liverpool, it is a good step for Liverpool to take, even if they don't win against manchester city but getting one point is enough in my opinion from this match.

Last season, City lagged behind Arsenal for a long time and this was with KDB, but yes his importance is great, maybe this season will be a season of losses for City due to his injury.
As for the result, if we consider it as a head-to-head confrontation without taking into account the fact that Arsenal and Tottenham are also vying for the title, then it is clear that this is an excellent result. All that remains for Liverpool to do is to play no worse than City and beat them at home.
